1 A bad day
klieee!! Alarm ring twice. it's 7am.
A brown eyes wide open as she stop the alarm and calmly stand up from her bed. Angela rob her eyes as she look around her room for few seconds trying to process everything. Suddenly jump off the bed.
"OMG! Angela Collins why? you have an interview this morning.." She said to herself as she pull off her towel from her wardrobe and ran to the bathroom.
The bathroom room door open as she came out towards her closet and take out her a straight shirt and a top with her favorite heels. she wore them and quickly rush to her kitchen, open her fridge and brought out two chocolates, kept it inside her bag as she closed her front door. she ran quick to the bus stationary to get a bus to her destination but none at the moment.
Angela Collins is a beautiful and a true definition of gentle and tough girl. her look can deceive you but wait until you step on her foot then you will see how wide she can be. her father loved her. she's 24 and just a few days to her 25th birthday. Her mother died when she was four and since then her father has performed the duties of both parent. until he married her step mother who gave birth to her cute little brother, Simon. Her step mom love her and take good care of her until she decided, is time to leave her father's house to start a life alone. she traveled to New york and left San Francisco, her parent's home. It's been a whole year of being jobless here in this strange country. Two days ago she saw a flier of the most popular company requesting for a personal assistant to the CEO and she was so surprise she got the opportunity to be interviewed today among the enormous of people queuing for that post and the interview is 10am. she was too excited to sleep yesterday night when she got the call and now she is late
Presently, Angela checked her phone and saw 9:01am. she angrily walk out and start strolling hoping she will see a car or someone to take her to her destination.
"What a day!..."
A black shining Mercedes Benz drove pass her roughly that she almost fall down out of shock. The owner of the car realized his mistake, stopped and came out to apologise.
Angela calmly compose herself and majestically walked closer to a human figure in front of her.
A brown eyes stare down at her as he is a lot taller than her. even with her heels, she's still short behind him. Angela looked up and stared hard at him. She was completely speechless. "how can a man be this beautiful? I'm sure is bleaching his body but no his body looks fresh and smell the aroma of a wealthy man. even his eyes is scary and soft at the same time.. " she thought to herself
She composed herself again, this time more boldly so not too feel inferior in the presence of this handsome guy.
" How dare you?.. " She screamed at him. Mr handsome was looking at her weird as he was shocked to see a small girl look up at him like that. " Drama queen" he thought to himself
" Are you deaf or dumb or which one exactly? what the heck! you drove roughly in a good road like a mad man running after his prey. are you aware that i almost fell due to your useless and careless act..? " she spoke angrily but he still quite calm for her liking.
She moved closer to him, gently touch his cheek, move back and smack his face hard to see if he's still alive or dead. A hard face stared down at her as she felt a shiver run down her spine. she swallowed her saliva so hard and gently took a two steps backward. She felt her hands wet as hold her hands together with fear.
" Mr calm, I really didn't mean to slap you. I just wanted to check if you're still breathing and can hear clearly..." she said looking down with a shake voice and hands.
A soft hands lifted her head up as she stared directly at his brown eyes too close this time. she stared at him wide from his brown eyes that look captivating, to his pink lips that looks kissable, to his dimple that only grow wide when he smile. Wait is he smiling?... she paused and calmly looked at him smiling down at her.
With his hands on her cheeks, he look down to her level and whispered loudly " I love you.." he said gently with a smile.
" Ahhh this is right! this man is mad. confirmed already." she thought calmly and spoke out.
" have you gone nut? did you hit your head on something maybe when you were driving or just now? do you need a doctor or a nurse cuz I swear I will get you one right now. Just tell me your problem and as a good Samaritan. I promise to help you.." she muttered as she widen her eyes to get a reaction from him.
instead he hold to himself and said
" marry me my love and I promise to love you forever.."
" OMG!! my dad is always right not to cross your line and now I finally find a mad man asking for my hands in marriage. Now I know suit is not only made for normal human being but also mad ones. how will i get myself out of this mess now ? .. she asked herself.
she looked at him, bend down her head to look at her feet. she gently remove her heels, step back a little, smiled and pick race. she kept running until she felt no one will see her again so she stopped to catch her breathe.
she turn around and behold him standing behind her chuckling his face.
she quickly went down on her knees and apologize
" Forgive me, I won't do it again. I promise. I'm a good child oo. I have a father and a step Mom with my cute brother who loved me and wish me well even tho I don't listen to them. but this time I promise to be a good child.. I cross my heart. " she said as a drop of water fell from her eyes. she looked up to see if it was rain but it wasn't as she touched her eyes and felt tears coming out from her eyes.
she stood up quickly and ran off. she saw a bus coming, she stood in front of the bus as the it stopped. she looked around and saw the guy staring ahead of her as if looking at someone else. she entered the bus and the bus drove off and drove her to her destination, Hier's Company.
She checked the time and saw 10:15. she quickly adjusted her clothes and worn her heels before going inside. she moved majestically to the receptionist and asked for the way to the elevator. a young woman showed her the direction and continue her work. she entered the elevator and pressed the button to the floor top 10. she walked out and saw a strange woman standing with a file calling out names. she gently walked up to her and asked
" Good morning ma'am. I'm one of the interviewee and I'm sorry. I am late.. " she said calmly
" No probs, I'm the secretary here. thank goodness the boss is not here yet but I think he will personally interview you so good luck to that but let me warn you to be calm as possible cuz he might be difficult" she said smiling as Angela nod her head.
The young woman was about to start a conversation when she look ahead of her and bow her head in submission and said
" welcome boss. the manager was able to interview few of them before your arrival so it remain just one which is standing in front of me sir.. " she said as she read
" Okay send her to my office." he said calmly
" Alright sir" she reply and faced Angela
" You can go in now" she said to her
" Thank you so much ma'am" she replied and opened the door and wow. she was so marvelled with the atmosphere of the office. the office with well furnished with a strong and familiar aroma.
she heard a person clear his throat. She looked up and stared wide at the sight in front of her. She screamed and ran out.
" Mad man oooo.. save me ooo!! he has been chasing me around!!! help me. there's a mad man in the office!!!..." she screamed out loud.
The secretary stopped her and hold her hands to calm her down
" No one is mad here ma'am. calm down" She hold her down calmly
" No don't tell me to calm down. the man you said I should follow is the mad man" Angela explained
" You mean the CEO? " She asked
" CEO ? is not possible. there must be a mix up somewhere. I'm telling you, there's a mad man inside that office. I can't continue with this interview, I'm scared.. " Angela said shivering as tears drop uncontrollably from her eyes.
The mysterious man came out of the office and stared down at her
yes that's him. is the mad man
" bring her to my office" he ordered
" Noooooo!!!!!! I don't want to go inside pls. I'm begging you. I can't breath pls..." she said as felt unconscious. the mysterious man carried her quickly inside and order for a doctor to his office Imm definitely.
