8 Worried

"What exactly are you doing here?" Su Anya inquired as she noticed Lu Rayansh standing in front of her.

Lu Rayansh smiled at her and handed her a food packet.

"It's not good to leave a young lady alone, you've been here to see the patient and you haven't eaten anything yet, do you also intend to admit as a patient here?"

Su Anya was dazed as she stared at him.

"Come on, I haven't eaten yet, let's eat."

Su Anya had no idea how she was sitting with him and eating her dinner. But she was feeling much better for some reason. She took a look at the hot food in front of her. It had been a long time since she had been looked after.

"Why are you sitting there distractedly? Eat your food." Lu Rayansh urged her to concentrate on eating.

Lu Rayansh placed food in her bowl as she began to eat.

"You're in your growing year, so eat more."

Su Anya looked at Lu Rayansh after she finished her meal and noticed that he had bristly brows and almond-shaped eyes that burned with passion. Lu Rayansh examined her dazed expression and stated "Do you think I'm good-looking?"

Lu Rayansh cocked his head and smiled at her.

To hide her embarrassment, she cleared her throat and said, "You don't have to bother yourself, Mr. Lu."

Lu Rayansh raised his brow and stated, "I don't want the leader of the team in which I have invested to become ill."

"Otherwise, it will have an impact on the performance of the rest of the team."

"Don't worry, Mr. Lu; you will not suffer any loss, by investing in my project. I will ensure that you will not be disappointed." Su Anya stated solemnly.

Lu Rayansh locked his gaze on her. He wanted to rub her head, so he did. Su Anya dodged his hand as he raised his hand about to touch her head. He smiles at her and withdraws his hand.

"I know you'll handle everything brilliantly, but you need to look after yourself. Many people rely on you. So you must take care of yourself for them."

He makes a click with his tongue. "Take a look at yourself; how long have you been awake?" When he glanced at the black circle under her eyes, he felt a pang of sympathy for her. He knew she didn't want anyone interfering in her life, so he didn't even inquire as to why she was there. Su Anya caressed her undereye area. She was unable to sleep properly because she was worried about her health.

Lu Rayansh checked his watch and said. "It's time for me to go, and you should rest as well, goodnight, Miss Su." He then walked out of the hospital.

Su Anya was dazedly staring at his vanishing figure. She turned around and returned to her aunt's patient room. Her aunt was sleeping soundly there. She looked at her aunt while holding her hand. She had no idea when she fell asleep.

Su Anya awoke the next day to find a nurse checking on her aunt's condition. She returned home after caring for her aunt.

She opened the door and entered the room after arriving home. She was taken aback when she entered the room and saw Chen Zhihui and Sun Li in the living room. She noticed Chen Zhihui laying down on the sofa and Sun Li sitting with his eyes closed.

The sound of the door opening jolted Sun Li awake. He noticed Su Anya standing by the door. "You've returned." He stated to her

Chen Zhihui was awake as well. He yawned as he stretched his stiffened muscle. With sleepy eyes, he looked at Su Anya. "Oh, you returned."

Su Anya nodded and entered the kitchen, emerging with two glasses of soya milk and scrambled eggs. "Come and join me for breakfast."

Both boys arrived at the dining table to eat their breakfast. "So why didn't you both leave? Since last night both of you've been sleeping in my house." Su Anya stated after swallowing her food completely.

Chen Zhihui was distractedly playing with the food on his plate. He raised his head when he heard her question and said. "We were worried about you because you hadn't returned the previous night." We thought that if there was an emergency, we could be of extra help."

He didn't tell her that the three of them became very concerned about her and began looking for her everywhere. They ran into Lu Rayansh.

Last night...

"How come Anya hasn't returned?" Shen Yue began to be concerned about her.

"You don't have to be concerned about the leader, Xiao Yue." We'll drop you off at home.

"But.."

"Xiao Yue, the leader, mentioned that it is our responsibility to safely return you home." Chen Zhihui stated matter-of-factly.

Chen Zhihui and Sun Li both dropped Shen Yue off at her house and began looking for her. They have no notion where to look for her and are aimlessly wandering around. Lu Rayansh appeared out of nowhere. "I'm wondering as to what both of you are up to late at night." He inquired about them. He could tell that both of them were nervous. He paused for a moment before asking. "Are you looking for Su Anya?"

Both of them hurriedly looked at him and inquired. "I'm sure I've seen her. She had been gone for a long time and had not returned."

"She's all right. I had indeed met her in the hospital. She was..."

"What happened to her, and is she all right?" Chen Zhihui interrupted Lu Rayansh before he could finish his sentence.

"Relax, she was there to see a patient." Lu Rayansh stated

Chen Zhihui exhaled a sigh of relief. Sun Li's tense nerves also relax.

"I saw her at the hospital, and she's OK." However, you should go and take some rest." He turned around and abruptly came to a halt in his steps. "Don't tell her we met today, and you know she went to the hospital," she says.

"Both of you were worried about me, which is why you slept here." Su Anya inquired of them.

"We were expecting you to return. Shen Yue was concerned about you, so we decided to wait until you returned safely and then return home.

Su Anya is at a loss for words; she has never seen somebody so concerned about her. She suddenly realized how many people who are looking after her.
