Chapter 64 Outing with Collin (Part 5)

The people in the tenth district, just like in any other district were filled with people with different colors, races, nationality and even culture and group. However, the eighth, ninth and tenth district were among the poorest people living in poorest conditions.

The tenth were considered forgotten people of the empire and they were clusters of individuals and family coming from war stricken countries, epidemic, plagues and were the survivors of the purge when the empires and kingdoms established themselves.

In the original story, they will become a part of the plot to stir the story and make the crown prince an important figure, however, it will all be too late as they were destined for tragedy.

These people will be sacrificed and others will be drugged and enslaved by human traffickers and sell them to other countries. Some children will be forced to do manual labor or they will be sold to become a maid or plaything of other nobles. The women will become prostitutes and be branded by hot irons in their backs and the men will be forced to do labor in a mine or do any heavy and inhumane acts.

These things will be summarized by the crown prince's secretary though that would be six months late.

Seeing that the empire still do not make a move, Aillenne immediately make haste and prepared a plan to save them.

'They were not necessary for the plot anyway as it will only be part of a few sentences.'

'I can't risk their lives for a few words and highlight the tyranny of the crown prince. Whatever he will do in the future, I'm hands down on his activities. I've decided to take care of these people for the betterment of everybody. Isn't it for the best that I know the plot and can save them from their tragic fate?'

'I can't just ignore them and live my life without guilt. Besides, I can have them as my own people. I will give them a much better life and they will help me in attaining my goals. It's a win-win situation.'

"I'm very thankful for you, My lady. Oh, is it my lord now?"

"Oh my! You don't have to."

"No, we shall insist. You've given us a chance to work and gave new meaning to our life. We won't have to loiter around the streets and ask for alms. Just... I'm so thankful."

Pilwo, a man who looks like a bear smiled as tears began dripping down his face.

The atmosphere is so light and Collin's party could see the extreme loyalty and reverence burning in their eyes as they looked at the lady.

Hugo thought, 'Perhaps it's master's good choice to follow the lady and it's a good idea to tag along. I first thought that it's just a simple transaction for a small business enterprise, however I can't think of that way anymore. The more we got entangled with the lady, the more I question myself if I'm still thinking right.'

Sir Erick on the other hand, couldn't help but scratch his cheek in embarrassment when he remembered their first encounter.

'What did I tell my lady at that time? To go outside and ask alms on another side of the alley? Damn! What a foul mouth I have. I just want to smack my head hard. Looking at the documents we are processing and filing each day, I couldn't help but admire at her ideas. But on the matters of the blue magic stones, I really hope that the third day will come quickly. I'm very much curious and I know others were too curious like me.' He thought as he glanced at his superior and subordinates.

That day, the people of the tenth district were transferred to the estate Aillenne bought from a fallen noble, Viscount Atharva, and the tenth district was erased from the capital's map.

Even if they still haven't paid everything for such estate, Viscount agreed to have them pay the land in installments and let them use it at the time the negotiations were dealt with. After the negotiations, the Viscount together with his family went overseas.

Likewise, Collin and his party finally got the answer three days after their conversation.

Collin brought the contract and its copy to Aillenne when he came over to teach her how to play chess. This is the only reason plausible enough to make the Marquis allow Collin to come over and play with Aillenne. They talked while playing.

"I would like to demand the answer you've made me tossed and turn for three nights now. Can I now have the answer?"

Collin started and became interested at her bright smile.

"For a moment. I'm going to show it to you."

Aillenne left her seat and took a cute box in her arms.

"Do you need help?"

"Uhh... yes, please."

Phew!

"So what are these things?"

"Take a closer look here Collin. Can you see the seed?"

"Uhh... yes?" Collin struggled to concentrate as they were so closed together. He could smell her very unique scent and he's feeling drunk and feverish. His groin is so hard everytime they meet and now that he's close to her, he can't help but feel pained. He contemplated on either to excuse himself and relieve or to just endure. Collin chose the latter.

"Yes, so look here. I'm going to dig a little bit of soil in the pot, and place this one seed. These are strawberries and they actually require good attention to their growth. However, let's sprinkle a little bit of blue magic stone here, and... then... oh, I forgot. We have to wait for at least a day for it to grow. So this sample here is the seed I've grown just yesterday. And look at these fruits..."

"Oh my god." Collin couldn't believe his eyes and repeatedly asked Aillenne for her words.

"They're so many and quite large. How- how did you do that? With just a bit of blue magic stone?"

"Indeed. Even I, am quite surprised at the outcome. As you can see here, I am able to change its size and color depending on the color and mixture of the magic stones I have."

"This is an amazing discovery! My lady is indeed a genius."

Aillenne smiled but it didn't reach her eyes.

"No, it's not me exactly. I've encountered this idea when I went with the Duke to the park. Nevertheless, it will greatly aid me in line to the business."

"Yes. The food supply that were are exporting to other kingdoms and countries would surely be stable. I'm also surprised that you have such good relationship with the people in the tenth district. I was adamant at first when I heard that we're going to that place, but I'm going to raise my hands and just believe in you." Aillenne chuckled at his words.

"Yes, the people from the Sequoia kingdom and the Ohphi kingdom will not worry for food now. Production and the food processing will become a more busy place to work with. I just hope that the people in the Sierra estate is comfortable to the place."

"Oh, rest assured. They were very motivated to work hard and began to install the plan for waterways and the materials for the maple sap. Likewise, we were able to give instructions to the women regarding their work in the laboratories."

"I'm glad then."

The conversation and the game went on.

They were able to share their thoughts and ideas though Collin on the other hand wasn't able to relieve his burning desire when he's in the Winston Marquisate.
