It's Sweet

I have always wondered how it feels like to be free. To have money and not worry a thing. My life from the previous world is so difficult. As an orphan I struggled with the abuse and brainwashing by the director and we were taught with practical things, do labor and to earn money for food and for his luxury. Now, as I've transmigrated and became Aillenne, I got what I've dreamed of, however, some mishaps happened. I didn't know how things became that way, as I'm focused with changing the plot to avoid my death. Little did I know that I'm being toyed with people I trusted and gave heart to. I thought it was okay, because every Saturday, something happens in the orphanage. We were taught countless of times on how to please others. But now... "I will have you whenever I want, Aillenne. I'll kiss you, touch and embrace you as much regardless of wherever we are." A man said while locking my body in his sturdy arms and inhaling my scent by the crook of my neck while licking my panting lips. "Hmm... we'll make you get used to it until you always crave the moment where flesh constantly stir you. You'll beg for it with your moist eyes and lewd mouth until we combine." "Hnngggh! Please!" "Yes, Aillenne!" The men in the dark room were filled with lust. They shared and continued to stir me with their gigantic penis and licked the streaming tears. Moans and groans could be heard as the room was filled with scent of debauchery. The story deviated too much from the original and I don't know what and where it had gone wrong. Would I still follow the original or leave the spilled milk?

Chapter 13 Pretentions (Part 2)

The marquis would provide her with clothes but those were despicably far from the standards of nobility.

Of course, Sierra Zynne had only come to know of that fact when a maid began chattering about the ill treatment she's been receiving from her family.

***

Nothing much had changed ever since she came to live in the main mansion unlike what she had thought. All of the practice and enacting of possible events vanished in thin air.

'Ahh... I lost too much sleep by just preparing for the face off. Good thing they weren't really interested in me.'

Aillenne sighed and rolled around in bed while thinking about what had transpired.

She wasn't invited in any gathering or even had a meal together with her family.

It has always been her and the servants she had. If people see this as a lonely life, it really is, but it is more favorable for Aillenne.

'Much easier and I'll have no difficulties in breathing. Just the mere face off with the Marquis takes a toll, how much more when I got to see the whole family? I would be crazy after that meeting.'

She desperately prayed that such day should never arrive and so far, the heavens seem to be on her side.

Sierra Zynne knew that the body's feelings still stayed despite being possessed by her. She could always feel it as if the soul haven't left the body. It was creepy to some extent but it's bearable.

She even tried talking to the body trying to figure out where her soul might be.

In the first place, a lot of questions are swirling in her mind and the only one who can answer it is the owner of the body. She attempted talking to herself like crazy whenever no one's with her.

"Hey Aillenne, I oftentimes feel my heart aching whenever I see your father. Does that mean you long for him? How about your mother and siblings? Could you answer me?"

"And where are you now? Why am I here? What's my purpose?"

She unleashed the barrage of questions to the inexistent being.

"You know, I already knew your fate. But goodness! Why did you get me involved in your matter? I'm doing fine in my previous world despite hardships but---! We're supposed to die as we were an antagonist in this story!"

"Uhhh... the weight of the role is bringing me down."

Groan...

"What should I do now Aillenne? I miss where I came from. I miss it so much even though I didn't have a good life in there."

"Sob... sob. I'm scared Aillenne. I'm so scared. I knew when to die but the world won't just let me die. I'm tired of thinking about death."

"Can I even escape from the storyline? Will I still survive if I live this life in a good way? What should I do? Sob... I'm scared."

It has always been her fear. She knew when and how she will die, but when she tried to die early to not prolong and experience the suffering and pain, the world won't allow.

It's hard to bear the responsibility of possessing a body of an important character. However, she is now Aillenne she will do her best to try and change the plot centered around her.

She'll try avoiding death flags because if she stopped working hard to attain her goals, surely she will die a dogs death.

***

After almost a year of gathering money somehow, it is still not enough. She already gave up on the idea of dying to go back to where she belong as there's an obvious interference with her actions.

All she can do to avoid her death is escape.

She wanted to escape to a place that is safe, have a good and stable security and a center of commerce. All of it pointed out to the Heisen Empire, which is so far even when she looked at the map.

The empire is big, but the Heisen Empire is bigger. It is more peaceful, there is no discrimination, people are free and commerce is the best just like in her previous world.

The Winston Marquisate is located originally at the southeast part of the empire. However, since Marquis Klaude is one of the pillars of the empire and handled some of the state affairs, the house is now near the capital.

"From the capital, if I plan to go to Heisen Empire, I must be prepared for funds for travel for over fifteen days, then lodging, food and many others. "

"It is easy for me though, I have accumulated enough for the travel expenses. However, the difficult part lies on how can I obtain a border pass."

Not just anyone could freely come and go between borders.

Nobles can pass the border by having a certificate of border pass while commoners should work for the empire for five years before attaining the pass, but that's still after completion of all requirements.

For Aillenne's case, neither was possible. She was a noble, but needs to fill up the requirements for the pass, which requires signature of guardians as she's still a minor. She can't also serve for five years as she's not a commoner.

On top of that, the Marquis is the one handling that matter.

How can the setting be so cruel to me?

It doesn't make sense!

Ack!

"Young lady! Are you alright?!"

She were more surprised not by being pricked by a needle but with the shriek of her over protective nanny. She hurriedly cleaned Aillenne's wound but with delicate care.

Looking at the nanny in front of her made her remember something to make her smile bitterly.

'Ahhh... what a life.'

After all this time she had somehow adapted to the noble life, but she doesn't like the idea of being noble and even a commoner.

Her nanny is a commoner and can't act exactly as a mother to her as she's a noble.

'I really hate that thought. Nanny is much more like a mother to me than the biological mother of Aillenne.'

People are people, it should not matter if one had a lot of money or titles. But she couldn't assert as that mindset will evolve a few years from now.

'I still can't grasp their way of thinking.'

Even though Aillenne haven't had a proper education even in her previous life, she had awareness about some of the issues and how the world works.

'I don't have a choice as the setting's like this.'

Now that she's Aillenne, she'll have to incorporate the noble life.
