Chapter ~ Three

Normally Sawyer hates sitting alone at lunch time, the painful waiting for Hanna to finish her class. This time Hudson was on the other side of the screen keeping him company.

A bowl of chips gets slammed breaking Sawyer from his love life. "I have a surprise for you!" The excitement was rushing out of Hanna, you could even tell she rushed from her class to Sawyer from the messy hair and the breathes sprinting out of her. "Tell me then?" She slides along the bench facing him.  The smirk both intimidating and exciting Sawyer. "Well, our heartbreak Is finally over " Now the confusion controlled Sawyer.  "He's returning, he's going to finish the second year of college with us." The shock practically punched Sawyer, taking his breath away for that slight moment.

"Oh my god, Wait how?!"Hanna had all the answers. "Well, his dad's business closed down, got a better offer back here in the UK." Hudson makes Sawyer smile all the time but there are 2 boys that Sawyer smiles for and for different reasons. "The squad is getting back together, I'm so happy!" Samuel was returning. It's been over a year since he had to leave to his home country, Spain.

"We have to throw a surprise party!" The idea was perfect. "Yes yes yes, we're 17 now my parents are fine with us drinking.

My house?" Hanna suggested, her house was in fact the biggest and the nicest. "Okay, who's on what duties?" Sawyer was anxious to ask in case he gets the boring tasks. "I'm more social so i will be in charge on who comes and It's my house so I will decorate?" Sawyer could not be more relieved. "That leaves food and music for me...one question?" Hanna already knew what was coming. "Of course your boyfriend can come, that's your job to invite him though. " The smile makes a return on Sawyers face. "Perfect and not my boyfriend....yet." Sawyer slid out of the bench, rushing to his next class, his mood completely flipped.

Sawyer returns after another late shift at work, one last task of the day. Inviting Hudson. This was the first time they were going to call, which you would think would be less scary after talking in real life, but Sawyer avoided phone calls.

Nervously waiting for him to pick up, the suspense leaving his leg to shake. "Hello." His voice grabbed his leg and stopped the shaking. "Hey, I have question?" The thought of him getting rejected sent Sawyer down a spiral. "Go for it" No sign of confusion or worry with the upcoming question. "Would you like to maybe come to my friends surprise party? There is alcohol involved." The silence started to shake the leg once again. "I would love too, give me a date and time and I will be there." That answer gave Sawyer some random confidence. "Great we can go clothes shopping tomorrow then. Three pm outside that cafe." Sawyer ended the phone without the answer from Hudson. Shocked from his simple demand, afraid of the response.

"Wow you showed up." Hudson pulls him to a warm hug. "Now, why would I not show up." Sawyer felt his cheeks burn up, dying themselves red. Sawyer was already falling in love, which was new for him. "So...I kinda have a fun idea. I don't like shopping but I have a way to spice it up, you in?" How mysterious. Sawyer was both interested and scared. "Depends what?" Hudson's hand quickly snatches Sawyer's and walks it to the shop. "Are you in?" Sawyer debated but didn't want to seem boring to Hudson, he needed to keep him interested. "Yes. " Hudson stopped and his eyes looked Sawyer up and down, admiring how perfect he looked to him. "We split off and buy each other a whole outfit for the party." Sawyer actually loved that idea. Picking a style to make Hudson look even better. However Hudson might not pick a great choice in return. Both of them dispersed into the shop full of options, Sawyer hunted down the perfect prey.

A top controls the whole outfit, everything has too clash nicely with the top. Sawyer wants something slim and easy to tuck in. After walking round searching for the perfect outfit, Sawyer went all out.

"Not too sound cocky, I look fucking amazing. You're good at this Sawyer" He couldn't help but smile at the boy that stood before him. A perfectly fitted black shirt with the top two buttons undone letting his collar bones breathe. Neatly tucked in to the white trousers coloured in by black lines coming from all directions forming squares in between, hanging over the matt grey boots. The outfit was nicely pulled together by black rings and a silver chain wrapping nicely around his neck that seemed to be calling Sawyers attention.

Sawyers outfit also complimented his appearance, it was defiantly his vibe. Plain white t-shirt tucked in to black stripy trousers, a vintage looking black jacket hanging over the outfit.

They previously got changed in separate rooms but seeing as Hudson didn't want to leave his clothes behind he started to undress. Sawyer panicked and turned around to see the same image reflected in the mirror. "Do you want me to leave?" Sawyer clears his throat. "no,it's chill, unless you want too?" Sawyer definitely did not want to. So he started to undress as well. But for sawyer he struggled to take his jeans off as they wrapped tightly around his leg pushing him backwards. His body shoving right into Hudson, they both fell with the force and he ended up right on Hudson's lap.

The cold wooden bench sent shivers round Hudson's body. Sawyer panicked immediately showing no sign of enjoyment but deep down enjoying the five seconds of their warm skin brushing against each other. Where as the sign of laughter and something that wasn't there before exposed Hudson clearly enjoying the moment. "Sorry" Sawyer quickly stood up and got the jeans off. Hudson could feel the embarrassment radiating off him, but he couldn't understand why, it was fun. Sawyer tried to walk away to hide the blushing but Hudson pulled him back there eyes centimetres apart. Leaning in, Sawyer realises what is happening and pulls away. "I can't.. sorry" Hudson steps back in shock, Sawyer really avoided their first kiss. Sawyers nerves took control so instead he just he finished putting on his clothes. Hudson wasn't going to give up until he was his to own.

They finally arrive, arms linked together ignoring the events of before. Outfits clashing together perfectly.  Joining in on waiting for Samuel to enter.

The door handle turned opening the door to an dark and empty room. The lights expose a room full of old friends and family member's and more importantly Sawyer and Hanna running towards him for the biggest long awaited hug. Nearly loosing his balance from the force of his two dearly missed best friends.

After a long catch up,the party really began. The alcohol table attracted all the under 18's first. Hudson nicely took the shift of making all Sawyer's drinks for him. " I have one rule, don't let me have more than four drinks. I am a light weight okay." Hudson just laughed while taking notes.

Ten pm. Second drink. Dancing. "Wow I needed this,I am glad you're here with me" Hudson smile reflected into Sawyers eyes. Hudson didn't feel the need to reply, he just went to take a sip but the cup crawled it's way out of his hand to the floor. The empty cup bounced on the floor. "Shit, let me get kitchen towels.... And you another drink" Hudson left Sawyer oblivious.

Eleven pm. 4th drink. Tumbling too the bathroom.  The already opened door revealing Hanna and Samuel doing things sober them will regret. "Guys...what? Get out I need the toilet" They just giggle there way out of the bathroom. Leaving Sawyer to do his business.

One am. Sixth drink. "Sawyer that's your 4th drink now,let me get you a water" Hudson shouts in his ear fighting the loud music. "Good idea" Hudson walked him to a near by couch.  Hanna followed him to the alcohol. "Didn't know water came from a vodka bottle" Hudson knew she was interrogating him. "He convinced me to let him have one more tiny drink." She just smiled while pouring herself some. "You seem awfully sober for a teen party" Hudson laughs the awkwardness away. "Just takes awhile for it too kick in. Just give it a minute and i will be passed out on the floor" Escaping the awkward interaction and returning too Sawyer dancing back on the dance floor. "Water delivery" Sawyer quickly takes it and downs it. "I can still taste vodka" Hudson takes the cup off him. "Yeah,it will have some left over in it from before" Sawyer and Hudson stayed together for the next couple hours eveything becoming more blurry for Sawyer.

The pounding head woke Sawyer up. Not in his own bed, not in Hanna's, not even on Hanna's couch. A bed he didn't recognise. The bedding felt and smelt fresh. Grey walls surrounded him. White carpet carried everything in the room. The door opens revealing Hudson in just joggers. His abs grabbing his attention, accompanied by his broad muscular shoulder's. Sawyer had to get used to how good he looked. "Morning sleepy head, don't worry I slept on the couch" The butterflies woke up again. Hudson smiled on his direction, his dark green eyes admiring Sawyer. "Is it okay if get a shower?" Hudson nodded approval. Sawyer undressed in the bathroom, washing away the events of yesterday and hangover.

Of course Hudson left some of his clothes out for Sawyer to wear. An over sized t-shirt and some plain shorts. Everything Hudson did just warmed up his heart. Folding the towel neatly in the washing basket, leaving the bathroom with all his stuff ready to do whatever the day had planned for him.

Hudson Stood there, all his attention absorbed in his plain grey wall. "Hudson?" Sawyer questioned. His voice sounded different, Sawyer didn't know how but it killed every single butterfly inside. "Out!" Sawyer jumped at his raised tone. "Wha-" "Get out!" Hudson cut him off. His voice imtidating him, scaring him. Quickly grabbing his stuff, Sawyer left the room, no idea what was happening. Where did that come from, what triggered him.

He shut the door behind him and the fear and confusion set off a range of feelings. Leaving him in a dark pit of wonder on what he did to make Hudson react that way.
