Chapter 4: Suotuo City

After the long journey, he finally arrived at Suotuo City. The sun still shines brightly above his head, and he had quite a lot of time to take a walk.

He already planned to buy a shop or a piece of land in this city. After all, this city is a pivotal place in the story and a considerably good place for all things considered. He wants to gain a foothold here. Besides, living here would increase the chance of him meeting with a lot of important characters. Someone like Liu Erlong or Flender for example. 

Yugi was a former Young Master, but that's only an empty title because he didn't get that much resource from the clan. Just in the first three months of living in the forest, he had used all of the money and saving he got from Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan to buy supplies and other things to sustain his life.

In simple words, he transmutes bone powder, wood ash, clay, or sand into a precious mineral. After that, he sold it to the small towns or cities in the outskirt of the Star Dou Forest. Gaining large amount of gold for each and every transaction. 

Thus, one thing that least on his concern at the moment is Gold ... he's way too rich for your typical young master. One time, he sold a chunk of pink diamond to a jeweler, and he got 69 million gold coins! By the rumour, seems like it was auctioned and then the highest bidder was the royalty of Balak Kingdom. Having the Earth Release is like a cheat. With just ash from burnt wood and a bit of iron sand, he got that pink diamond.

On the next day, Yugi walked down the street of Suotuo City. He visited several shops and asked the shop owner whether there's an empty plot of land he could buy, of course, after he bought something from that store. And after asking around, he heard about an owner of a bookstore who was on debt with a local gang and right now desperately trying to pay it by selling his store. But because the locals also didn't want to trouble themselves with someone who has problem with the gang, none were dared to buy the shop.

He arrived at the Wise Dragon Bookstore, there was a huge plank with 'For Sale' sign nailed in the windows. Entering the store, Yugi saw a dispirited middle-aged man gazing at the ceiling dazedly. A bottle of wine in his hand. The shopkeeper didn't notice his arrival.

Yugi didn't disturb him and proceed to look at the bookshelves, the majority of the book is something that he had finished reading. But there's also other collection, mostly fictions or biographies that was not in Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan Library.

"Dad, I'm home ..." the door opened and a girl around eight or so entered the store. The girl noticed him and then said, "Oh, a customer. Welcome."

"Little Ling you're back ..., what's for the dinner?" the middle-aged man asked with dazed unfocused eyes.

"Sweet Potato Soup."

"Again?"

"Never mind about that, there's a customer! And didn't I tell you to stop drinking!" the little girl admonished the drunk father and snatched the wine bottle.

"Child, who are you to order me around. Give that back!"

"No." with that short answer, the little girl walked inside.

"Damn unfilial daughter ... should've just sold her to that thug." the man cussed after his daughter left. 

Hearing such things, Yugi widened his eyes slightly.

'He's just your typical deadbeat dad like Tang Hao ..., but who in the right mind have the thought of selling one own daughter.' Yugi thought. 

"I assume you're the owner of this shop."

"What do you want brat? If you're not buying anything I won't bother." the middle-aged man sat back on his chair and answered in irritated tone.

"I'm Yugi, and I want to buy this shop."

"Say what? Hahahaha ..." the middle-aged man laughed as if hearing funniest joke. "You're kidding, right?"

"I'm not. Name your price, Owner!" Yugi said after shaking his head.

"I'll let it go for 20 million gold. Can you afford it?"

"Does that include every book you have?"

"Yeah sure, you can have everything in this store."

"I'll give you 30 million gold, but I also want that girl to work for me."

"Huh? Will you really?" the middle-aged man widened his eyes and asked, Yugi nodded with expressionless face. "Hahaha, tell you what ... give me 40 million gold and you can have this store, and my twin daughter."

"So, there's twin sister ..., well alright. Let's write a contract, Owner."

"Oh, where's my manners, I forgot to introduce myself. Young Master Yugi, I'm Xia Zhong."

Yugi once again saw the little girl. This time, there's also her twin sister. Both the girls styled their hair in pixie bob cut, the hair color of Xia Ling is cyan, and Xia Xing is closer to teal. 

"What is it now, Dad?"

"Greet your new Master, starting from now you have to follow his every words. Be obedient and don't embarrass me."

The twin widened their eyes, they never expect that it's finally the day when their father sold them for money. While they are somewhat unable to accept it, but rather than sold to the gang and ended up being their plaything, perhaps serving this Young Master would be better.

Then the twin led him to the interior of the bookstore. The building itself was small, around 300 sqm with 2 floors. The first floor is the bookstore, a dining/kitchen, and a bath/laundry room. The second floor is where the bedrooms are located. But the big surprise, is that there was actually a hidden backyard twice as spacious as the whole building area in the back. So, there's a lot of room for improvement and renovation.

After finished with surveying his new property, he closed the store and dismantle the 'For Sale' sign. He then cleaned up Xia Zhong's room with the help of Xia twin. Transforming the room to his own. Finished with that, he joined the twin in the kitchen and took a spirit beast meat to cook.

"I'm surprised, you guys took all of this in pretty calm manner. You know that your father just sold you off to me." at dinner, after forcing the twin to eat at the same table with him, he opened a conversation with that question.

"I ..." Xia Ling wanted to say something but she choked on her own breath and tear gushed out from her eyes.

"Ling ..." Xia Xing was calmer, but she also couldn't stop the stream that from leaked her eyes.

"As expected, huh ..." Yugi muttered. He then retrieved a storage ring from his pocket and put it on the dining table. 

"I'll give you a choice. Stay and serve me and you will be under my protection or take this storage ring and go away to live on your own. The money stored in this ring is the same amount the price I bought you two with. 20 million gold, that's the money I gave to your father for you twin sisters."

There is no particular reason why he bought these two, he just got slightly offended with how the father casually muttered that it was better selling her off to a thug. What could be the end of these girls if they actually got sold to a local gang? Comfort girl is the best outcome, but he could also think of more mortifying scenario. 

Thus, with that slight impulsive in mind. He bought them at exaggerated price of 10 million gold each. But he doesn't want someone who follow him because of forced by circumstance. That's why he tested them by giving an illusion of choice.

He finished eating the dish and went to his room. Leaving the twin on their own device.

The twin wept for sometimes, until the older one, Xia Ling stood up and exclaimed.

"Let's go, Xing! Let's leave this place before that guy change his mind."

"Idiot! Are you retarded?"

"Do you really accept becoming the servant of that guy?"

"Then are there any other alternatives? Rather than getting sold to the Blood Battle Gang, it's better to serve Boss Yugi. Besides, where would you go bringing this ridiculous amount of money? Don't you know the phrase 'jade in the hand of poor is a crime?' By the time you show this much of wealth outside, you'd already lost your lives." Xia Xing lengthy explained with her calm voice.

"Th-then ..., is there no other choice than to accept our fate?"

"... none. Let's just accept this fate and serve Boss Yugi faithfully."

"Xing." Xia Ling closed their distance and hugged her younger twin sister. "I miss our mom."

"It's okay, Ling ... me too."

On top of Xia Xing right hand there was a butterfly, while the one in Xia Ling's hand is moth. They were really a twin sibling, even their martial spirit is somehow similar.

"Mine is a "
