It's Just A Dance Move

"It's just a dance move, why is it such a big deal to you?" He asked confused. "It's not 'just a dance move', it's the dance. One wrong move and the whole dance is wrong and ruined." I protested ignoring his presence and blindmindedly kept practicing . "Why do you even care.......

The bullies

I bust through the doors of the classroom but.... Nobody was there yet.

All of this running and effort and it hasn't even started yet. Uggh. Look on the bright side, at least I'm not late!

I sat in a seat at the very back and lay my head down on the smooth surface. I was still quite tired because of the tough dance practice and the lack of sleep earlier that night. I closed my eyes, just to rest them.

I sat there for about ten minutes alone until the first few students came in and took their seats. Some took out their phones while others mimicked me by laying their heads on their tables.

I checked my phone and calculated the time.

5 minutes until class starts.

I sighed, finally lifting my head back up and just in time as the teacher walked in before setting his books on the table. Students scurried quickly and quietly behind him and plomped into their seats.

"Right, we'll start class." He announced.

We were in class for about and hour, quietly working at our given tasks, when the door bust open and three males casually walked in like nothing had happened.

The teacher just lifted his head and nodded to one of the students close to the door. The student then got up and closed it behind the group.

The group simply sat down in a row at the back. There were four chairs separating me and them.

So they are the 'bullies' of the school I guess. Better keep my distance.

I had my fair share of bullies before. By that I mean, I actually was a bully before but that was when I was younger so the teachers didn't really take it seriously and it all stopped when I started to dance. After that I stopped completely. But, taking a logical guess, that's not the case with them. Even the look of them is intimating.

I felt uncomfortable around them and without realising, I started edging to the edge of my seat.

Luckily someone in the chair beside me, noticed and tapped me back into reality.

"Sit here." He offered the seat on the other side of him, kindly and I gladly accepted it as I swapped the seats in the blink of an eye.

The class was interrupted once again but, this time, by a teacher. She called out our teacher giving the class a break from work while they talked outside of the closes classroom door.

"So your new, right?" The kind guy beside me asked. "Yeah..." I trailed off. I noticed the group of boys throwing papper at the students in front of them.

The students didn't do anything, simply because they couldn't. If they did it could go badly wrong so better just to get a sheet of paper to the head rather than a punch to the head.

"My name is Delor, a dance major in level 3, you?" He introduced himself which gladly I returned. "I'm Ivy, a dance major and I'm in level 3, too."

He seemed to have remembered something as his eyes widened and his mouth was about rush somthing out.

"Oh your Ivy..... Harvey! You got the highest grade in this years new comers, right?" He burst out. "Yep that's me." I confirmed shyly still looking at the group behind him.

"Don't worry as long as you keep out of their way they wont even know your here. Anyways you have me here." He laughed when he notice why I was so distracted.

"That will be hard." I mumbled but Delor heard me. "Why, you a trouble maker?" He joked woth a serious while patting my shoulder to comfort me.

"No, It's just that one of them.....

Is my roommate.....
