Chapter 3
Another day at school and it was great. Me and Steve were together all day long and I had one spare with Anna and Camellia. It was a long but a fine day. After school Anna and Noah were going for a coffee and asked us too but we all denied as we all want them to be together as much as they can.
As I reached home I called Amelia to ask about the plans and she told me that everyone was coming till 6:30 so I can be there till six.
I have a calculus test tomorrow and that's why I decided to study for sometime. After studying for more than one and half hours I had my lunch, mom and dad are usually at work so I'm home alone generally.
It was almost five and I got dressed up and booked a cab as my parents took the car. It was too hot outside and the cab was taking a lot of time.
Suddenly someone tapped my shoulder.
"Hi! Waiting for someone?"
Oo God it was Steve and I was almost dead.
"Yeah! Just waiting for the cab. What you are doing over here?"
"Oh I came to meet a friend in the nearby cafe. If you you want I can drop you."
"No no. It's fine I'll go and as it is I don't want to bother you."
"You're not bothering me and I love spending time..." he stopped and collected his words and said " in the car. "
"Then also it's fine. And the cab is here. I'll catch you later. Bye Steve ."
"Bye Maya."
Why is Steve being so close with me and why am I even thinking about it.
It's been a long time that I've meet all my old friends.
I pressed the door bell and Amelia came running and hugged me.
"Long time Maya. I missed you so much. "
" Even I missed you so much.. "
We went inside and everyone was already there Steph, George, Charlie and Tessa. They all literally jumped on me and hugged me.
"Hi Maya we all missed you. " Tessa and Steph screamed with joy.
"Really Maya no calls since you have left us this is not fair. " Charlie said as she was quit annoyed.
Charlie and George were twins and we're too close to me.
" Maya I wanted to tell you something I mean both me and Charlie wanted too. " George exclaimed.
" Move ahead tell me." I said grabbing a drink.
" Me and Charlie are shifting to Washington with our parents." George said almost crying.
" What Charlie, George you can't leave us. Please." I said feeling low about this thing.
" Guys actually we just came here today to tell you people this. We have a flight in two hours and we have to leave. Bye guys we'll miss you." Charlie said crying badly.
We all hugged each other and decided to have regular video calls. Within 10 minutes Charlie and George left.
Me, Steph, Tessa and Amelia went inside. There was a lot of silence as we all were quite upset. Finally Tessa spoke up breaking the silence.
" Have you ordered the food yet Amelia I'm very hungry."
"Me too babe let's order something." said steph
" Yeah I'll just order till the time you guys catch up." Amelia said and walked out of the room to order the food.
"So what's up with you girl these days tell me about your new school and your new friends with whom you were hanging yesterday and what is the bruise on your head? What's wrong with you girl. "
Steph had so many questions.
" Relax babe. she's not running away." Tessa said.
"Yeah. So my new school is great but of course it had been more fun if you people were there. My friends over there are amazing and very helpful and yesterday I slipped from the stairs and got this bruise but thank God Steve and others were there with me. "
" That's great. But may I ask who is Steve ." Amelia asked entering the room.
"Bro you heard everything. So Steve, Anna, Mason, Noah, Chase and Camellia are my great friends over there and I have a huge crush on Steve to, inform you guys."
