Chapter 2

"Are you ok Maya?" Steve asked and there was a concern in his tone.

" Yes! I'm quite good." I tried to get up and there was a relive in my head ache.

"It's almost 10 and I think we all should have our dinner." said Anna as she was quit hungry.

"Yes! I'll just order something." I said and got up from my bed but Steve signaled me to sit back.

"I've already ordered the food for everyone so babe you can relax. "

What!! Did he just called me babe.

" Thank you" I could just say that.

"You're great Steve thanks. My stomach was growling." exclaimed Anna and Mason.

Camellia, Chase and Noah were downstairs. Suddenly the door bell rang and Anna and Mason rushed down as they know that it was the food delivery.

" Maya take care of yourself and don't be so careless that you hurt yourself." Steve said with a lot of concern.

"Thanks for your concern Steve." I smiled.

Steve took me downstairs and we all sat together and had our dinner and talked about various topics.

"Guys there is an announcement." Camellia said with a lot of excitement.

We all jumped with an excitement to listen to that news.

"So guys Anna and Noah are in a relationship."

" Wow guys this is a great news." exclaimed all of us. Everyone was very happy with this news.

" Guys its too late and we have schools tomorrow so I think we should leave." Mason said.

" Yep. And Maya take care. Bye." said Camellia and Mason. Chase gave me a goodbye hug and all of them stepped out.

Steve wore his coat and kissed my forehead and gave me a tight hug and left.

I was left speechless. I barely know him and we were so close.

It was late and I decided to talk to Amelia once.

" Hi Maya! Up so late? Is everything fine?"

" Relax Amelia. I'm fine and everything is good. "

" Thank God."

" Amelia I called you to ask if we guys like me, you,Charlie, Tessa, Stephe and George can catch up at your place."

" Are you ok Maya? Like I thought you were busy with your new friends."

"Are you mad Amelia. It's nothing like that. You guys are still my priority."

"Ok. So we can meet up till 6:30 at my house. "

"Sure. So let's meet up tomorrow and please just inform others."

"Yes. I'll inform. Bye. Goodnight."

"Bye. Goodnight."

I felt much better now and I went to bed but couldn't sleep because the thought of that forehead kiss was not leaving my mind.

Forget it Maya it must be a normal friendly gesture. Stop over thinking about him. Now shut up and sleep.
