"Jason." I uttered his name from my mouth.

"You know him Maya?" my dad asked.

"Yes dad. She knows me well." Jason said before I could say anything.

I was shocked and I was speechless.

"My son is a very good person Maya. He's just so good. I know you will enjoy his company." my dad said.

"Oh come on dad. You just say those things because you love me." said Jason.

"No I'm serious. You know Maya he plays baseball and he's like an all rounder. You're lucky to have him as your step brother."

My spine was chilled out and I was so angry that I could have busted out any moment. All the anger and all those nightmares were returning to my mind.

"I'll like to add something dad. Your wonderful son is also a rapist." And all of it came out, I couldn't control it anymore.

"What are you saying Maya?" my dad said shocked.

"She's just saying the truth dad." said Jason.

Why is he even proving me right. It's like double standards to another level.
