Chapter 19

When I woke up Anna was still asleep. I checked the time and it was 7:30 in the morning. I got up to get dressed for the school. I never really wanted to go back in that same highschool as I had to see Jason's face over there. But still I had some friends. I haven't meet Jessica, Otis and Alex since I've came back from the hospital as they were on the senior camp trip.

I took a shower and wore a decent pastel pink dress with my boots and I felt good after dressing up. Getting dressed and not feeling sick is like a therapy.

Noah was in the kitchen probably cooking something. I went to Anna room and she was not there probably was in the shower. I went downstairs in the kitchen.

"Morning Noah." I smiled.

"Good morning Maya. Felling better?"

"Yes. I slept well last night."

"That's good. You can sleep with Anna daily until you better."

"Thanks Noah. And what's cooking this morning, I'm really hungry."

"I was making pancakes with honey and maple syrup. And a latte for you."

"Aww. That's so sweet of you."

"Don't flatter yourself Maya. It's only because you are not well." he chuckled.

"Morning guys." Anna walked into the kitchen with a bright smile on her face.

"You look so pretty Anna." I said as she looked like a goddess in that turquoise dress.

"Morning baby." Noah said as he gave Anna a quick morning kiss.

"I'm really hungry. Is the breakfast ready Noah?"

"Yes." Noah said getting the plates for us.

"And I need to tell you people a good news." Anna said.

"Tell then." I beamed at her.

"Today Mason and Chase are flying back to New York for a weekend, like its Friday already and they will be landing by evening."

"Wow that's a great news." Noah said.

"That's great Anna." I said.

"And guys actually I was planning if all of us can go to my farm house. It's like a few miles away from New York. And we can call everyone and have like this get-together."

"I think its an amazing idea." Noah said in an exited tone.

I wasn't sure about another party. Most if the parties have ruined my life. Like my birthday, fair party where I again had to face my past and sophomores.

The history of me partying denied me from going to the farm house.

"It would be fun Anna." I said.

And I still agreed because I really wanted to move on.

We all completed our breakfast and there was a knock at the door. I went to open it and it was Jessica, Otis and Alex. All three of them jumped onto me to hug me.

"We missed you." they all said it together.

"And I missed you all too."

"Hi Anna and Noah." Jessica said and gave them a polite smile.

"Hi guys." Noah and Anna said.

"You all wanna have some breakfast?" Noah asked them.

"No. Actually we are here to pick Maya for the school." Otis said.

"Wheres Zach?" I asked them.

"Actually he had a football match today. So he couldn't come so we did." Alex said picking up my bag.

"Now I think we need to go or we'll be late." Jess said.

"Guys we have a party sought of trip this weekend and we want to join us. Maya will give you all the details in the car." said Anna waving me goodbye.

I smiled at her and sat inside the car.

"So what sought of a party it is?" Otis asked.

I told them about the arrival of Mason and Chase and the get-together at Anna's farm house.

They too were exited about the party. The last month had been stressful for each one of us and we all needed this break.

Zach was with me in the school for the whole day except the classes. Jess and Otis were in the same class a mine so I was not at all alone. Alex and Zach shared the same class so they were together and meet me in the spares and free time.

Jason was not present in the school today fortunately and it was a true boon to me. Everyone was giving me a little extra attention as I was a deadly accident survivor to them.

No body knew that I was sexually assaulted by Jason. And it was great that they didn't knew about all that.

My classmates gave me all the notes and a pen drive which had all the lessons recorded. I didn't really understood that why were they all doing it. But maybe it was just a kind behavior.

Zach dropped me home after school.

"You're coming tonight right?"

"To decide about the trip?"

"Obviously."

"Yes. I am coming."

"Ok. Bring Otis and Alex with you."

"I will."

"Thanks."

Zach smiled and gave a small side hug.

We both were still dating but I wasn't really comfortable with a physical contact. Hugs were a bit fine but nothing more than that.

I rang the bell but no one opened the door. I took out my keys and opened it then.

There was no one inside. I kept my bad aside and went upstairs to change my clothes.

I then went to the kitchen and the lunch was already there. It even had a small letter with it, which said-

Bought you steaks with French fries today. It's not at all healthy but you can have a cheat diet today. I and Amelia couldn't come as we are a little busy today. See you in the evening.

The steak was delicious. Steve's mom is really a good cook. Even though I can cook but if I'm getting this special service why not enjoy it for a time. I had my lunch and went back to my room for studying. I had a lot to cover up and even a lots of essays to complete and even I had to write a journal.

I studied for more than two hours and I was really strained out. I went back downstairs to make myself a latte and by that time someone opened the door.

It was Anna, Noah and Mason and Chase walked inside with them. Chase ran towards me and hugged me.

"Missed you girl." Chase smiled.

"I too missed you."

"Hi Maya. You still have the charm aye." Mason said giving me a hug.

"You too still have that charm." I chuckled.
