Chapter 11

And there he was Steve. He and Noah with loads of balloons which almost covered my garden and with a cake. I was surprised and there were almost tears in my eyes. Those were the tears of happiness.

" Happiest birthday Maya." all of them shouted together.

I was too happy to say anything. Steve came and hugged me.

"I've missed you so much baby. " he whispered into my ear. For that moment I totally forgot about that things going on about this Amelia and Steve's matter. I was just too happy.

I then cutted the cake and we all clicked some pictures. Steve had to leave as he said he was tired after the trip. Anna was staying at my place and even Noah joined us.

It was late at night approx 2 a.m. and I was wide awake as there so many messages and calls that I had to attend. Anna and Noah were in the next room and suddenly I heard a thud sound. I got up from my bed and went out of my room. Anna and Noah were literally screaming at each other.

" Are you an complete idiot Noah. You told me that it was his plan. " Anna shouted.

" No Anna. When you called me and told me about that Amelia and Steve's thing and told me to bring the cake, I thought that if I'll get Steve here she'll be happy. And finally I found him at a club hanging out with Amelia. And if I would have told it to Maya that he was with Amelia she would have been busted out today. That's why I told her that it was Steve's plan." My spine chilled out when Noah said these words. I know over hearing there conversation was not a good thing but I was feeling dumb. I couldn't hear anything else as my mind was not in a right state. I walked back to my room and slept off.

" Good morning birthday girl." It was Anna with a breakfast plate in her hands.

" Morning Anna."

" So I'm not coming to the school today as you know I need to get your house ready for the evening party. So Noah can accompany you into the school today and even Steve is gonna come so I don't think it's a problem."

" Yeah of course not."

I had my breakfast and then got ready for the school. I wore my new dress it was a short amber colour dress.

Noah gave me a ride to school and we only talked about the party and food. Steve's topic never came up.

When we reached the school Steve was already there in the parking with Camellia.

" Happy birthday girl." Camellia hugged me.

" Happy birthday once again baby." Steve gave me small side hug. But my mind was still revolving around the conversation I heard last night. But still I kept on telling myself that Amelia is my bestie and she will never do such thing.

It was a great day at school today as I was given a special treatment by everyone and Steve was paying a little extra attention on me, so I was really happy.

After school Steve had to go to his house as he said he had some work. So me and Noah headed to my house. When I entered my house I was shocked. It was looking so beautiful that I was almost choked in happiness.

Anna came running and hugged me from behind.

" You like it?"

" I love it Anna. Thank you so very much."

" Actually even Noah deserves some credit because after dropping you he came back for sometime to help me. "

" Aww.. That's so sweet of both of you. You both are like my gems."

" We are Maya. Like I don't know about Anna but I'm a real gem. Thank God you realized it." Noah giggled.

" Guys I've made some lunch. So both of you please have it and after that Maya you can get ready and Noah you can help me out with a few things."

It was evening time and everyone was already there and almost everyone was dancing or playing beer pong. Even I was enjoying a lot. Steve and Amelia were still not there. The two people whom I consider very important were late.

Tessa and Steph had prepared a dance performance. Noah sang a song which was basically written on our friendship. Camellia wrote a whole journal on me. And Anna she conducted everything.

Finally when everyone was eating the dinner, Steve and Amelia entered in.

" I think we are too late Steve." Amelia said laughing as according to her it was funny.

" Where were you guys?" Anna said in a disappointment.

" Actually when I was coming here I saw Amelia near the Metro Station , so I asked her that if she wanted to come along. Then when we were coming here my cars tire went down. So that's why we are late. "

Anna noticed the disappointment on my face and she told the DJ to start playing songs. Soon everyone was dancing and drinking beer. Camellia and Tessa passed out early.

I was dancing in a group with Steph, Anna and Noah. Steve and Amelia were dancing at a corner.

Suddenly Anna freezed and her mouth dropped out. I turned around to look at what she was looking at and then after what I saw I literally felt my heart rate increasing. And it was Steve and Amelia making out. I couldn't bear it anymore, my mind was more of a mess and all of it just blacked out . It was all dark in front of my eyes and I fainted.
