Prologue

A dark figure was standing on the Midrange cliff observing from the top like a God watching the mortals. The wind whipped the long jacket hanging on Vin's shoulders. Vin had a small smile on her face. It was unknown what was going through her mind. Very few people knew the identity of this mysterious person.

"Master Vin, it's done. We are waiting for your orders," a man stood behind her. Vin nodded and turned around. The man saw a nineteen year old boy with chiseled face and exquisite features that could make anyone swoon. Even if he saw this face daily for two years, he wasn't immune. Vin smirked. She had a charm on her which changed her appearance in front of everyone. No one really knew that she was a girl. The charm only worked visually but it was no different than changing perspectives. But if someone got close to her, her secret would be exposed. And it was practically impossible. No one could touch her even while fighting. Vin was like wind while she fought.

All her attributes were heaven defying but Vin never cared. She only wanted to find her lost guardian. She remembered sealing away her memories of that night. And her guardian saying that it will return in the future. Vin searched everywhere for her guardian. She didn't remember what form it took, how it looked, and where she sent it when she sealed it away. But she only knew that it was waiting for her to wake it up.

"Master, we found a weak signal near the top of the pyramid."

Vin nodded.

"We will go there now. Prepare everything. "

Vin surveyed the pyramid from her perch and found everything quiet in the night. She knew it wasn't anything like it seemed. There must be restrictions left in the pyramid. Her only hope and consolation was that she was here when she was on a vacation when she was young. If she knew something about her, it was that that she would hide it in the least obvious place which would be her own location.

And it took Vin nearly nine years to realise this. Vin waited till the sun rays illuminated the pyramid. The she walked towards it. A man dashed outside the restriction door. Vin smirked again. Her work was half done. She sauntered towards him and saw that he was wearing a mask. It didn't matter to her anyway. She sensed the weak power emanating from a blue crystal which was pulling her in. She finally found her guardian.

She only had to fight the man for it.

"What do you want?" he asked her. Vin was dumbfounded but she didn't show it on her face.

"Give me the blue crystal and we will go on our way."

"My master asked me to bring all these. If he doesn't have any use for it, then you can take it away."

"Then let's fight."

Vin rushed towards him and landed a strike. The man reared back and used his magic to dodge her. Vin was very proficient in her abilities. She could fight without using any of her magical ability. She hit his magical well and paralyzed him. She opened his bag and found two crystals. They were both shining and they looked very harmonious. The pink one was particularly eye catching but Vin didn't touch it. She pulled the blue one which was seriously attached to the pink one. They were like magnets and Vin found this strange. She pocketed the blue crystal and looked at the paralyzed man lying below.

"Tell your master that Master Vin thanks him. And Master Vin gives him a favor."

With that Vin turned back. But she didn't notice something. Or rather she didn't notice someone smiling at her. That smile could cause a never ending war. And that someone was precisely the master of the pink crystal.
