1 Why?

How did it come to this? How did I let it get this far? What did I do to deserve this? Was I really that bad? We used to be so happy... where did it go wrong?

Haru sat in the rain crying until she felt like she couldn't cry anymore hoping that the pain would subside in her broken heart.

Trying to collect herself and face the reality that her husband didn't love her anymore. She reminisced on the good times they used to share how loving they were everything was great... until they got married is when everything started to change.

5 months ago - newlyweds

"Haru I want you to quit your job. Let's start a family I have a good job I can take care of you and our kid... or kids" Kiba smiled brightly at Haru

"Kiba are you sure? If you are really serious and you're sure then okay let's start a family."

Kiba was ecstatic.

2 months later

"sorry Haru we have to put the family on hold there is a promotion at work and we have to relocate."

"It's ok Kiba we can wait there's no rush in starting a family. The main thing is that we are financially stable and ready to take care of them when the time comes."

Kiba smiled lovingly at Haru.

"that's why I love you so much Haru"

After moving into their new apartment since they were holding off on their family Haru decided to go exploring. As she was about to leave the house.

"Haru where are you going?"

"Oh, I was going out to apply for jobs you know make friends." She smiled brightly at Kiba

"why? I have a job I can take care of you. Just stay home and if you wanna go out we can go out together."

"oh... okay"

Haru frowned and watched as Kiba walked back into the living room with no expression on his face.

1 month later

"KIBA WHERE WERE YOU? IVE CALLED AND TEXTED YOU AND YOU NEVER ANSWERED ITS 3 IN THE MORNING AND YOU HAVE WORK TOMORROW!"

"Oh, I was invited out by my friends last-minute sooo."

Haru frowned

" They asked me so they didn't want you to come along"

"WHAT? THAT DOESNT EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE IVE NEVER EVEN MET THEM!!"

Things just got worse from there and they began to argue more and more.

"We haven't gone out since we’ve moved here you wanna go out and do something?" Haru smiled.

Kiba replied with no expression "Nah I'm tired I don't feel like it."

"KIBA YOUVE BEEN DODGING ME FOR THE PAST 3 FREAKING MONTHS IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME?"

"You said it not me" Kiba replied coldly.

Haru was shocked at his reply and tried to hold back her tears as she went to sleep.

"IT'S 2 IN THE MORNING IVE CALLED AND TEXTED AND YOU HAVENT REPLIED HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF YOU'RE OK IF YOU KEEP IGNORING ME?!?!?"

"JEEZE I HAD TO WORK LATE WHY DONT YOU JUST BACK OFF!" Kiba shouted in anger.

"Kiba it's late let's go to sleep."

"CAN YOU JUST LET ME UNWIND ILL GO TO SLEEP WHEN IM READY SHEESH!"

Back to the present time

a few hours ago

ring bzzzt ring bzzzt

"Kiba, your phone has been going off can you turn it off?"

bzzt bzzt

"UGH" Haru snatched the phone from the table as her eyes focused and 1 new message and 6 missed calls from someone named Chia Heaux.

(Hey thank you for the ride home)

-No problem

(you coming over tonight?)

-yeah sure

(we still on for tonight?)

1 new text from MAXI

-I don't feel like going home

(why not go out with that girl?)

-Nah she's gonna expect something

Haru’s hand began to tremble as she threw the phone at Kiba’s head

"WHO THE HELL IS CHIA HEAUX AND WHY ARE YOU AGREEING TO GO TO HER HOUSE TONIGHT?"

Kiba woke up rubbing his head.

"what the heck man? What are you talking about she's just some girl I work with."

" WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU KIBA? WHAT DID I DO TO MAKE YOU HATE ME SO MUCH?"

"UGH, your so ANNOYING this is WHY I IGNORE ALL OF YOUR CALLS AND TEXTS!"

Haru’s face turned red she was shaking uncontrollably

"THAT'S IT IM DONE! I QUIT MY JOB TO START A FAMILY YOU WANTED! IVE BEEN HOUSE ARRESTED SINCE WE GOT HERE. IVE DONE EVERYTHING YOUVE ASKED WHY AM I NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU?"

" UGH, nothing happened! If I didn't love you I wouldn't come home to you!"

"KIBA! you can come home to me but it doesn't mean you love me! This isn't the first time you did this to me I forgave you the first time you did this to me before we got married. Why was I so STUPID to believe you?"

Before Leo could say anything Haru ran out the door and slammed it shut.

Kiba scoffed and sat there in thought. "Whatever she'll come back. I'm not gonna bother going after her." He quickly drifted off to sleep.

Current time

Haru was still sitting in the rain suddenly she couldn't feel the rain on her. When she looked up someone was holding an umbrella above her.

"Miss is everything okay?"

Haru couldn't see this person's face but she was also not of the right mind so she just blankly stared at the stranger in confusion.
