"Damnit." Cao Cao cursed as he stood beside Leonardo. He had to use a magical illusion technique to trick Issei into thinking that he was dead.
And now his True Longinus was in Issei's hands. 'No matter. There are other abilities I can strengthen. The True Longinus isn't everything. But I will miss fighting with it. ' Cao Cao thought with a hint of sadness in his fave expression.
True Longinus made Cao Cao invincible. But when he fought Issei, he saw now that there's more to himself than just focusing on one part of himself.
"So you're still alive. I was just wondering why it was that easy to kill you. So, before I kill you all. What are the motives of your Hero Faction, Cao Cao? " Issei asked him while holding the True Longinus. Cao Cao smiled a little.
"Red Dragon Emperor of Domination. You may find it surprising, but it is incredibly simple, we just want to know the limits of what it means to be 'human' and challenge it. Furthermore, humans will be the ones to defeat devils, dragons, fallen angels and other supernatural races. No,definitely, it is humans who will win."
"You guys want to be heroes since you guys are the descendants of heroes? That's so confusing. " Issei scratched his head.
Cao Cao raised an index finger and pointed to the sky above his head.
"This is just a little challenge presented by frail humans. Under the heavens, how far can humans go, that is what we wish to try. " Cao Cao explained. Issei nodded, but he still felt that there was more to it than that.
'I can respect that you know. I mean, that's a variation of my dream except I'm not a terrorist. ' Issei thought to himself.
"Issei, do not to be careless. These guys are enemies worse than the Old Devil Faction, Shalba Beelzebub. You don't know what's going on in this guy's mind." Azazel warned. Issei narrowed his eyes and quickly ordered everyone on his side to gather around him.
The Hero Faction also shifted their formation. All this time, they have endlessly created more antimonsters.
"It looks like the second wave will be the real battle." Kiba whispered as he grabbed The Teleport and stabbed it to the ground, creating a dome that surrounded them and every single antimonster.
Just as Issei was about to charge up a Hakai beam, right in between them and the Hero Faction, a shining magic circle appeared. A crest never seen before.
Emerging from the magic circle, a cute, foreign girl with a slim body, shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes. Her body measurements are [B77-W56-H78 cm]; height is 150 cm(4'11) and body weight is [45 kg].
Her attire consists of a sorceress-like dress with a huge blue hat with a black bow and yellow stars and matching cape with pink flowers and a white interior.
Her name is Le Fay Pendragon and she is a member of the Vali Team. She is a witch who is a descendant of Morgan le Fay, as well as the legendary King Arthur, and the younger sister of Arthur Pendragon.
Le Fay turned towards Issei's group and bowed deeply at them. She stood up straight and smiled radiantly towards them.
"Nice to meet you all for the first time. I am Le Fay. Le Fay Pendragon. The mage belonging to Vali's team. Please take good care of me! " Le Fay introduced herself. Azazel hummed.
"Pendragon? Who are you to Arthur?" He asked her.
" Arthur is my elder brother, he always takes good care of me. " Le Fay explained.
" So Le Fay. Like that legendary witch, Morgana Le Fay? It has been said that Morgana and the hero king, Arthur Pendragon were blood related..... " He grumbled to himself.
There were twinkling stars in Le Fay's eyes as she looked towards Issei.
"Um, ummm...." Le Fay walked to him and held out her right hand.
"I-I-I am a fan of the Hakairyūtei, the Destroyer Dragon! I-if you're not to busy, can you shake hands with me?! " Le Fay asked with a bright blush on her face. Azazel and Kiba snickered. Xenovia smiled in amusement.
Issei chuckled and shook hands with her. "Thanks." Issei muttered with a warm smile on his face. Le Fay was extremely happy.
"Done!" She shouted with a grin on her face.
Cao Cao's side was also shocked and puzzling over the matter, very much troubled. Finally, it was Cao Cao who scratched his head and asked.
"So it's Vali's side, what's the matter?"
Without any hesitation, Le Fay responded to Cao Cao in all smiles.
"Yes! I came to bring a message from Vali-sama! 'I thought I told you not to disturb me!' that's the message. Oh~, you also need to be punished for trying to put us under surveillance~~!" Immediately following after Le Fay's adorable announcement, the ground began to shake violently. Asia and Kunou were unable to maintain their balance and fell over on their bottom.
*CRACK!!!*
It was the sound of something sliced open. Looking towards there, the ground had swollen up, as if something huge was about to burst through.
Tearing the ground apart and creating clouds of dust, what appeared was...
"Guuuuuuuuuuutz!" A massive giant-like thing was roaring. It has the appearance of a giant stone statue that looks similar to a gargoyle. It is Gogmagog and it is the legendary giant of British folklore.
"It's Gogmagog!" Azazel looked up at the giant and yelled.
"Yes. This is one of the strongest characters in our team. Gogmagog or Gogz-kun~" Le Fay answered him lightly. Issei blinked.
"So that moving giant rock is...." Issei looked at Azazel for clarification.
"Gogmagog. Something like a gargoyle that was placed in the dimensional gap. Floating in stateof suspension in the dimensional gap. It seems to be a mass produced weapon of destructioncreated by ancient gods... They should all have deactivated by now. " Azazel explained.
" That's why it felt so inorganic. But deactivated? He's clearly moving. "
" Ah, this is the first moving one I have encountered, I have too many questions. Though it was said that they were deactivated and placed in the dimensional gap... But to be moving! This makes me so interested! " Azazel's eyes were shining like a child's. He keeps getting delighted by things like divine creations, ancient weapons and such stuff.
However, he immediately recovered and started muttering to himself.
"I see. Last time what Vali was checking out when hanging around the dimensional gap was not just Great Red..."
" Yes, it was Vali-sama who detected Gogz-kun's existence. Ophis-sama once mentioned discovery of this giant that could move in the dimensional gap, so we went there again to search for it." Le Fay answered his concerns.
" Hey, Le Fay. So what other fellows are in the team?" Issei asked her.
"Currently, there's Vali-sama, Bikou-sama, brother Arthur, Kuroka-san, Gogz-kun as well as me, six in total! " Le Fay answered happily.
" But Sensei, if Great Red is there, why would the dimensional gap have that kind of giant?" Xenovia asked him.
" The dimensional gap is quite troublesome to handle, but there is actually quite a bit of leeway. All Great Red wants to do is swim around freely in the dimensional gap, and does not pose any real threat.
He is a special existence so none of the factions place Great Red in their rankings and categories. All he cares about is to swim freely unhindered in the dimensional gap. " Azazel replied to her question.
Just as he spoke to this point, the golem raised it's giant fists at the Hero Faction.
"RRRRRROOOOOAAAAARRRRR!!!!!!"
Accompanied by an incomparably loud sound of smashing, the golem smashed Togetsukyou in one hit. Thankfully, this is just the dimension that replicates the real world.
The gargoyle's attack slaughtered massive numbers of antimonsters while the members of the Hero faction retreated, hiding on the other side of the river.
It then looked at Issei and his friends. Issei cursed. "Shit. I have to do something." Issei muttered and pointed his True Longinus at the golem.
Nothing happened, it was very awkward. Issei snorted and looked at the spear. "Extend!" He shouted at it. There was no response to his order. Azazel tried so hard not to laugh out loud.
"Extend your shitty spear!!" Issei shouted and swung it around him wildly. Again,the spear didn't respond to his orders. Issei got mad.
The ground shook violently and started cracking. Issei had an angry crimson aura around him.
"I SAID EXTENDED YOU USELESS ASS SPEAR!!!!"
The spear quickly extended, breaking the sound barrier. It pierced the shoulder of the golem. The golem lost balance and fell over.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!*
Just by falling over, it created such a huge shockwave, and everything nearby was shaking.
"Holy shit...He made True Longinus listen to him. A devil and a dragon out of all people....." Azazel muttered as he stared at Issei smirking at True Longinus who returned to it's original length.
Azazel looked at his group who were all shocked. They looked at him, waiting for him to say something.
"We are not telling anyone what happened today, especially about Issei having some control over the True Longinus. This would cause so much problems it would start a second Great War.....
