137 Prelude Pt. 3
*Knock knock!!*
Issei and Sirzechs looked at Elohim who had entered the room. They stood up and greeted her.
"Where are Michael and Gabriel? Have they arrived yet?" She asked them. Sirzechs shook his head.
"Unfortunately not yet, but I think they'll be here soon." Sirzechs replied. Elohim nodded and they continued waiting for the two Angels.
Some time later, they heard another knock on the door.
*Knock knock!!*
They looked to see Michael who entered. Michael smiled at Sirzechs and Issei who smiled back. Suddenly, someone dashed past Michael and towards Elohim.
"Mama!!!! Mama!!!!" It was a woman. She crashed into Elohim and hugged her tightly while wailing loudly.
"Waah!!!! I missed you so much mama!!!!" The woman shouted while hugging her mother. Elohim smiled and patted her head.
"It's alright my dear Gabriel. I'm not going away again." She whispered while comforting Gabriel. After a while, Gabriel composed herself and wiped the tears on her cheeks.
Michael approached Elohim and hugged her warmly. "Mother. It's been too long. I miss you a lot." Michael smiled as he felt the warmth of Elohim.
"Me too, Michael. I'm glad you and Gabriel are doing well." She replied. They released the hug and looked at Issei who was busy studying Gabriel's features.
Gabriel has the appearance of an extremely beautiful woman with curly blonde hair and a voluptuous figure, and is known as the most beautiful woman in Heaven. Like other Seraphs, Gabriel has 12 wings growing from her back.
She's almost as beautiful as her own mother, Elohim. But they have their own unique flair that makes their beauty so different.
"I can't thank you enough, Issei. " Michael and Gabriel bowed at him.
"It's no problem, Michael." Issei replied awkwardly. Michael looked at him.
"What can I do to repay you? I have all of the resources in the world. You name it, it'll be done in a flash." Michael offered. Issei hummed

With the game approaching, Rias and her peerage were waiting for the time to gather
in the corridor, which is connected to the entrance of the Dome stadium.
Everyone could feel the heat and the brightness of the stadium from across the gate. At the same time they can also hear the sounds of the crowd. Their battle costumes are the Kuoh Academy uniforms like always. But they are different from their usual uniforms.
They are specially-made uniforms for this game. They're made with a higher resistance to heat, cold, bullets, magic defence, and such where the defence against many things has been improved.
It's not that they have an insane defence to them, but they're still much better uniforms than the usual ones.
Xenovia was wearing her usual erotic battle costume while Rossweisse was in her battle armor. Asia was in her usual nun outfit too. It also has enhanced defense. Apparently they felt more relaxed in it.
"Everyone, the match which is about to begin isn't a real fight. It's a Rating Game, but it has the same serious atmosphere as that of an actual battle. It will be a fight where people will be watching over us, but be careful you don't get pushed back by it. " Rias looked at them seriously.
" Remember, do not feel sympathy for our opponents or their dreams. They're trying to do the same to us. So don't hold back one bit, got it? "

"Now, the battle of the century is about to begin! From the east gate, it's Sairaorg Bael's team!!! "

Rias breathed in and out calmly as she heard the announcer's announcement and the crowd's loud cheering at Sairaorg and his team.

The announcer started explaining the rules. Kiba narrowed his eyes as the announcer went over the phoenix tears that were given to each team. They would have to defeat Sairaorg twice. That could change things quite a bit.
"There is a special rule to this game! It is a rule just created a week ago by the Four Great Satans!"
Rias was surprised." A new rule, let's hope it doesn't weaken us. " She whispered hopefully.
" This new rule is called 'Ascension'! Let me explain. In chess, there is a rank to each of the pieces. 1 point to a pawn, 3 points to a knight or bishop, 5 points to a rook and 9 points to a queen. The ones who will start fighting first will be the Pawn or the knight of the respective peerages. Then it'll be the Rooks and the Queen. The King of each peerage will be the last to join the battlefield."
" There is also a ten minute timer. When the timer turns zero, a new member of each peerage will join the battlefield. Due to having no pawns, one of Rias Gremory's Knights will be the one starting. "
" You get 5 minutes of planning time. So please choose the combatant who will be participating within that time. Also the promotion for the Pawns will be available once they arrive at the field. The promotion will be deactivated every time a match ends, so please use the promotion every time you get on the field."
Like that, the planning time for the Gremory team began...
