1 Prologue

Long before the creation; there were creatures, omnipotent enough to bend reality itself.

They called themselves Valedictorians and were a dictatorial civilization ruled by Null, the strongest amongst.

No one opposed Null, not even his son Opis. He, unlike his father, wasn't powerful enough to rule; after Null's death, had to flee with his younger brother Magnus.

Now being chased by his entire race, Opis took shelter in the Large Void,

Nothing existed there; it was a place of pure nothingness.

Sometimes, life isn't just fair, to begin with. With his parents dead, because of intense work under the tyrant Trevor, Veru had no one other than his childhood friend, Hina.

With the arrival of a boy, the once dull life of Veru and Hina turned spicy.

The green-haired boy, with his white-haired friend, now were knitted together in bonds strong with Hose.

"Hey! How long will you all sleep? Get ready to work," the wooden door opened with a faint creak, as the white light seeped through it, illuminating the darkroom.

"Teh," the brown eyes stared at the wooden ceiling, frowning as the words echoed through his head. Rubbing his eyes and stretching his hands wide open, he yawned; blankly staring at the door, once which was closed.

With his still sleepy eyes, he slowly turned around, finding countless other people like him, some still sleeping, while the others had already gotten up, and were ready for their daily toil of labor.

"It was such a pleasant dream, I was having." he got up, wiped off his dusty clothes, and looked around. 'Where did Veru go?'

Combining his messy black hair with his fingers, he scoured the entire room, yet didn't find any trace of the one he was looking for.

'Did that bastard wake up earlier than me?' he asked himself, scratching his neck, as he moved towards the girl sleeping next to him.

"Hina, Wake up!"

"Hina, Wake up!"

"Hinnnnaaa, Wake up!"

Even after shaking the unconscious body, that much resembled a lifeless body, he had no choice left. He came closer to it, as it crept silently towards her defenseless ear, and shouted at the top of his voice.

"Hinnnnnaaaaaaa, Wake up!"

The voice rang or rather echoed through the closed room; luckily, no one was present who would mind the loud screech.

The girl opened his eyes, revealing the deep blue eyes to the world; deep enough to engulf the depths of the abyss itself.

Rubbing her ears, she looked at the black-haired boy and asked in a tone full of annoyance and frustration. "What happened? Why did you wake me up like that?"

Her white hair, which once should have been silky and smooth, was now brisk and dull. Carelessly stretching her hands, she got up as she looked at the door open wide. "Did Trevor come here?"

"Yes, he did. Why don't you have a look at your surroundings?" He asked.

The blue-eyed girl rolled her eyes around the hall, found no one but himself and the boy. "Where did Veru go?"

"That was what I was planning to ask you." He asked, frowning at the girl.

The girl tied her messy white hair in a bun, recalling she said. "He told me he had to do something, but I can't remember it very well."

"Hina, we need to hurry. They are leaving today," his brown eyes shone with caution, as his light tone rang her ears.

"But...…" Hina taking a momentary pause gazed deeply into his ebony brown eyes. "I don't know why, but I feel scared of this entire plan of yours."

"Why? If we can make it work, it would change our entire lives. Do you want to continue living in this hellhole? I don't and do you remember the promise I made to you?"

"Hose," she called him, holding his hands; affectionately kissed them, looking straight to his eyes. "I do, but are you sure it will work out as planned?"

"It would, until one of us messes up with it. Did you pack up the things I asked you to?"

Hina nodded, "Will we live happily after escaping?"

"Yes, I promised you, didn't I that after escaping this hellhole, we all would live happily together," Hose's gentle voice calmed the uneasy mind of hers, as she raised herself and pecked on his cheeks. "I love you."

"I know,"

"Cain, Abel, come here," a white-haired man called the two imps standing next to him from his wooden chair, made of white birch.

"Yes, what do you want us to do?" The two bowed down much like a nobility.

"Call Damian," scratching his forehead, he ordered them childishly. "Ask him if he is ready or not?"

"Yes, Creator," the two twins turned their back, and a few moments later, a middle-aged man, with long dark-gray hair, and a face full of gratitude bowed down and bent his knees. "The message is ready, my Liege."

"Roar..."

The man looked up at the bright sun; his slim-jade white skin gleamed, and with his red eyes, darker than the color itself, looked at the green lizard-like creature roared up in the sky, as it soared through the air, cutting through it.

"It is time…."
