One year…
One fucking year that everything in Menagerie has changed for the better I might add.
In one year thanks to that crazy human Albus Burn, he managed to change the inhabitable island of Menagerie into a well… Kingdom.
No seriously an actual Kingdom in one year was insane and if that wasn't enough the Faunus finally managed to obtain precious materials from the Desert after clearing up the whole Grimm infestation a year ago.
But…
Even now I couldn't believe everything was going so swimmingly well in Mengaerie it used to be tropical like an island where we had issues of placing living conditions and fear of Water-based Grimm surrounding us but –
"Lookie here we have another Grimm attack!"
"Call the Water Spirit Users!"
"Now!"
"EL HUMA: SLASH!!!"
Currently viewing at the distance at the port side of Menagerie our new White Fang Spirit Force was now taking into effect with them and get this magic.
Literal magic was slowly introduced in the beginning years as it helped us a lot in our hands.
It was practically a godsend that the Faunus here is able to use Magic.
El Huma if I recall correctly from my Spirit course was a low-mid tier spell that uses Water Magic to attack as per the original would only allow the spell caster forms and shoots multitudes of ice spears from their hands which easily pierces through and crushes flesh that vanishes a moment afterward.
Hehe…
And here I missed the simpler days.
But thanks to further research by my good friend Albus that wasn't the case any longer as there were steps to use the spell that was within reason to be able to use it.
Step one is to prepare the required Mana.
Step two is to visualize the spell in your head.
Step three was ready your gate or in this case our Spirits.
And the last step four the correct incantations to use the full effects of the spell power.
Hence the reason why the El Huma looks different from the norm since they practiced and visual it.
"Sigh… when did I have to learn magic."
So many changes and everything always revolves around Albus jump-starting them.
Soon enough my very own Quasi Spirit Eg from the Earth one came towards me as I gently hold it as I laugh at myself, "Hehe… Still, though I have to keep up the good work. I have to hurry along."
Even though the changes have been drastic our High Leader Sienna has already taken great measures of getting info about the other Kingdoms as our secret of White Fang State Alchemist and White Fang Spirit Forces are being trained.
Glad to see that the spirits don't take kindly to the radical members as they check out our background info.
Thank the brothers for that… or should I really pray to them?
I have to admit Albus already telling me that our world already died once was well… a complete shock once and to know it's true only made me worry.
But…
Shaking my head I won't worry about that trifling matter as I did have great issues in the past learning it but after realizing they won't come unless Salem gets all four relics it might as well be not our issues.
I mean they could come but after the long years though very doubtful –

Heard a booming sound from Albus' workplace as I made a deadpan look I next hear a friend speaking about what happened from the corner of the port city, "So… Albus still trying to create Compound A?"
Turning around as I chuckle I see Emerald appear with her Yin spirit around her as I replied, "Yeah… I hear his trying to create a bio-based superpower for the Faunus. But it has been proving a bit difficult."
Sighing at that Emerald chuckled a bit as she usually helps Albus out at times as she spoke to me, "Yeah. That sounds like our resident crazy sub-High Leader for you."
"Hehe…"
Sub High Leader was something Sienna calls him when he first helped out expanding Menagerie as well as the great uses of Alchemy and manufacturing.
While Emerald and I were walking down the market place we see another fellow Yin User selling as I look around to see the products.
Ah…
Crystalized Mana Shards used by Minya spell shaped like Daggers and… "Hey is that an enchanted Minya Dagger?"
Looking up the young wolfman Faunus spoke quite proudly at that as he replied to me, "Why of course miss. Thanks to the distribution of Enchantment guides and the Meteors by Mister Burn it has been a godsend for the Faunus. Additional like Semblances in weapons while Blacksmiths couldn't figure out. Brilliant I say."
Of course, Albus would since it will help out.
Even though the Enchantment spells used are Low-tier by Albus' work it helps out the White Fang members with the additional power of the weapon and very few members with Devices in our ranks.
And the way to have Mana stones for materials is to have the Yin Spirit Users use the Minya spells was a brilliant move by Albus part since we now have Mana Metals used to go well with magic casting and such.
Only Albus released the basic spell and advance one's but not all of them were shared.
Something that Sienna, Kali, and Ghira all agreed if I recall something about great power also comes with great responsibilities.
Shrugging my shoulders I asked Emerald about Albus' relationship with Neo, "Say Emerald what's the relationship between Neo and Albus?"
"There fucking…"
"Oh…"
Looking at Emerald's defeated face but one filled with tiredness I forgot that she lives with them and…
Oh my…
Blushing at the thoughts I kept them to myself as I still can't believe that Albus feats that one time he managed to terraform some of the useless lands into the most fertile for the economy using one red stone.
It was like seeing creating and destroying its work.
But for now, I have to see what my knucklehead of a friend is up to.

"Ok note to self don't use Compound A on ice creams –"
"Foolish mortal for I the Ice Cream God has – "
"El Goa."

"AHHH!!!"
Like that, I have easily dealt with one of my questionable fuck ups to date.
Of course, it's always right to clean up with fire since it's the best purge.
Like how I managed to create a sentient ice cream blob using drugs.
Still going back to the drawing board on that one.
And the explosion certainly didn't help.
And that Compound A was a failure as I tried to recreate it but under my branding name as I tried to create the effects by past scientists who originally created Compound V but I replaced the V with A because it was the beginning of my name.
Take that Vought!
But returning to the idea though I'll have to redo this one by scratch as I couldn't help but be overjoyed about my work in the Kingdom of Menagerie.
Had to admit it was a drag building it from the ground up but I also made some great allies along the way.
For example, Ghira, Kali, Ilia, Neo, Emerald, and Sienna are all in the know about what really is going on behind the scenes.
And especially with how the Mana of magic is slowly but surely returning to Remnant thanks to the Spirits that the Faunus uses although I was disturbed by the mere fact Merlot wasn't at his lab in the island that we took over.
Everything was in place just no research notes about his Mutant Grimm ideas but for now, I let it be since I had other things to worry about.
And since Merlot wasn't there anymore we managed to take the island and it's resources which thankfully included the CCT for us to use as we see fit alongside some engineers on our side deconstructing and reconstructing the bots Merlot left behind.
But other than that my relationship with Neo has soared that was for sure even to the point where I lost my virginity during my birthday since I think at ages 15 or 16 was legal for kids in that range to be adults.
And man it felt good.
Of course, that wasn't all Sienna wanted me to be her left-hand man to which I declined but some people still called me the Sub High Leader which I won't deny but I would rather train and do my research.
Something I have managed to take some time to be proficient in.
That and giving out books of lower tier enchantments, and simple elemental spells as well as warnings for the Spirit Force or State Alchemist members we have.
Something Sienna and I worked on adding more forces but only when they have compilated the training of understanding Alchemy.
The training was basically what Ed and Al went through as kids to make them understand and good thing we have an extra free island to use since it was out of resources for them to learn.
Haha…
That was more on my part showing them how to survive the hard way to which Sienna agreed on the idea but other than that I had a good time meeting the Belladonna family and being on good terms with them.
Looking at my lab though I would need to clean that up again as I look at the calendar with a smile on my face as I have my Philosopher Stone ring original and the duplicate I spoke to myself, "It's really had been more than a year huh? Guess it's about time to meet TRUTH tomorrow."
Yeah…
Time to meet TRUTH tomorrow and get my Cursed Energy back…
