~Albus POV~

"Finally we made it to Menagerie!"

Finally, after all that time moving around Kingdoms of Mistral, Mantle, Atlas, and Vale with Vacuo being the exception of me not traveling there yet I finally made it to Menagerie the home of the Faunus.

Neo and Emerald were also viewing the place as well as everything on this island are hot temperature wise as made sure to land some distance away.

Hearing sounds of stomping coming toward us we see members of the White Fang already have their weapons ready to attack if needed.

At least their own militia seems to be working.

Viewing as we land with the members of the White Fang having their guns out, I reveal myself as I get out airship I greeted them, "Yo! I'm Albus Burn I came here under permission of Ghira and I brought friends!"

They still had their weapons armed as I gestured my surrender as did Emerald nervously and Neo proudly already having this much fate in me.

Oh, this cute little short stack.

"Hold it!"

Heard a deep yelling voice over everyone present I see Ghira himself as well as his beautiful wife Kali coming out as the White Fang group moved Ghira came towards me as he spoke, "Hello again Albus. It has been a while since we last met correct?"

Nodding with a smile on my face as Ghira places out his hand I took a grip of his shaking it as I replied to him, "Oh you know the usual. Just being me is all I can be mister Ghira sir."

"Haha…"

Laugher escaped Kali's mouth as she began to introduce herself to me in a respectful manner, "Sorry it just seems surreal meeting you in person Albus Burn. I'm Kali Belladonna as you have met my daughter and husband."

"Pleasure is all mine to meet you miss and these are Neo and Emerald."

"Uhh… hello miss Kali?"

Listening to the two speak is uncomfortable about the situation as Kali and Ghira just accept the actions of these two.

"I see you came mister Wandering Alchemist."

Wait I know that voice.

Tilting my head to the side I saw Ilia and Sienna both come towards our direction as the White Fang members militia seems to have left the scene seeing that their leaders are talking comfortably to me.

Perks with meeting them all before helps.

Gesturing my attention towards Sienna and Ilia I greeted the both of them with a smile on my face but also blush in embarrassment at my title being thrown, "Heh. Glad to see the both of you again but can you drop the Wandering Alchemist title? It's a bit embarrassing to hear all the trouble I caused back in Vale."

"Trouble? Haha… now that's a good one."

"Sigh… I swear Burn you somehow get trouble to stick to you like super glue."

"Hehe… guilty as charge?"

Hearing their responses was really embarrassing to me but Ghira clears the conversation as he clears his throat getting our attention, "Ahem! So… Albus I got your text of the guest so we prepared some rooms for your friends as well as yourself during your stay here in Menagerie. Hope it was all you expected."

Shaking my head at this as we all began to follow Ghira to his home I replied to him as I get his and Sienna's attention, "Not at all Ghira. After you saved my ass in the hospital and paying for the bill how could I dare disrespect you? But while I'm talking to you and Sienna I was perhaps wondering if I can pay for a place here to stay?"

Listening to my words the two leaders seems to have some interest as I began to explain to both of them my intent, "Well to be frank I was hoping of helping the Faunus expand as well as repair their homes here in Menagerie. I was wondering if you guys needed help and I'm willing to stay to help you out."

Ghira sighs at this but Sienna, on the other hand, seems to take an interest in my words as she replied, "Hmm… perhaps you can help the White Fang out. I have heard reports to the newest Vale Captain Branch Adam Taurus that you assisted him in reaching a high position against the Spiders – "

"Tch."

Raising some eyebrows at my hate for the Spiders I clarified the reaction as I apologized to Sienna for interrupting, "Sorry but I just have some bad blood with Spiders the Mistral Gang. After they helped me get kidnapped once upon a time. Still left some bad memories."

Sienna nodded at this as Emerald and Neo looked a bit surprised at my tidbit of info Ghira nods in understanding but she continues, "Anyway with your hate of spiders aside I have heard the Wandering Alchemist talents in Alchemy. That you managed to create a camp in less than hours rebuilding from scratch and the ground. Is it possible to learn as to how?"

Glancing at to Sienna with a brilliant smile on my face I gave it some thoughts as I gave my opinion, "Of course. That was partially the reason I came here to Menagerie, to begin with. I was hoping to open up a school or I guess start-up apprenticeships in Menagerie to begin circulating the gift of Alchemy. But I do want it to be exclusive of course."

Listening to my words Sienna smiled happily hearing the news as I replied to her, "But for now that's months or years away from now. For now how about helping Menagerie out before anything? I doubt the majority knows me that well like you guys."

Sienna stops a bit before she nods in agreement as we all walked to Ghira's home we got our stuff and with Kali's help began to unpack.

I'm finally here…

After all the troubles I went through…

I get to finally to return the favor the Faunus have done for me as I enter Ghira's home along with Neo and Emerald.

I think… finally I can take a breather and adapt to the changes.

Glancing over to my ring of the Philosopher stone with a smirk.

I just need to wait one year before I get my Cursed Energy back from TRUTH.

Thankfully I can possibly trick him using the cloning magic on my stone to give him a double while I keep the original.

But for now, I hopefully get the chance I needed to grow.

Heh.

It's only been far right now but I'm finally starting to get started in my life.

And hopefully, no horrible or secret organizations would want to capture me or kill me, right?

~Qrow POV~

Shock.

The shock would be the one word I would think of seeing Raven's condition.

Never in my life, I would hear Raven of all people suddenly pop out from her portal falling down on the floor inside Tai's home while the girls were already left at Signal Academy.

And thanked the brothers for that.

I don't think Yang would see her…. 'mother' in this state.

Tai called out for the day as something came up and I already called the hospital as Raven's arm and leg….

The condition they were in was extremely worst that the doctors had no choice but to amputate them as their conditions were no longer helpful and were causing internal bleeding, as well as her bones, sticking out as she started bleeding from them.

*Gulp*

Taking a sip from my jug I couldn't help but look at my sister's former arm and legs.

Did Raven encounter a strong Grimm or something?

The wounds she received were definitely meant to be fatal but…

Who would have the strength to twist a Huntress like her limbs like they were sticks?

That was the weird part of the whole situation.

That and her weapon Omen condition…

I remembered the condition of the weapon blades being chipped like she fought something with strong sturdy skin or bones.

Although the look she dropped down was the expression of someone desperate out of fear.

Now don't get me wrong though I couldn't care less about Raven considering she had this coming but a small part of me being her brother is concerned for her and Tai especially seeing her like that.

But Tai certainly took it hard.

I guess her Semblance must have connected to him as he had been there by her side with mixed emotions of her.

We kept this to ourselves for the time being from the Inner Circle since this is a family matter.

Currently viewing Raven's room from the hallway of the hospital room looking through the glass window as Tai stood there I guess processing this I have to wonder though.

What in Remnant did Raven encounter that cause her like that?

Shaking my head I'll wait a bit to get some good answers from her.

Perhaps I should do my own investigation privately of what's happening around –

Turning my eyes to the screen I shake my head as I have better things to do then listen to what Mistral is up to.

Highly doubtful its related to Raven's cause as I turn my attention to my sister and thought I might as well investigate more about Raven's condition.

Hearing a door open up I see Tai coming out with a defeated look on his face as I talked to him with some worry, "What's up Tai? Anything happening to Raven?"

He was exasperated at that as he replied to me with some worry in his voice, "I don't know Qrow. I've been overseeing her but I think she really needs medical help. Like mental help. She's talking nonsense."

Raising my eyebrow at this seeing Raven sedated Tai further explained to me what he meant as he glances at Raven, "Sigh… what I mean is whatever attacked her made her crazy. I mean come on actual talking ghost haunting her. I think she's just looking for excuses or asking for redemption but…"

Really?

Glancing at Raven I might actually be concerned for her mental health now.

Guess I got to ask Ozpin a favor to help me out here.

Although seeing her in Atlas mental asylum would do her some good but I prefer Ozpin to look into this matter.
