"So how's my favorite student!"

"True but then again you aren't exactly subtle."

I managed to get everything I needed from Vale shops when they first open as I didn't make any waste collecting what I needed from them to refuel my ingredients.
I mainly came to Vale to visit Cinder a final time before heading out to Menagerie as she studies for the Hunter Exam in Beacon I spoke to her, "Yeah. Media one would think it's everything but they are like hounds. I swear Eraserhead must have had the same issues."
"Eraserhead?"
"Just some fictional character from a show I know."
"Oh."
Quickly explaining that tidbit up Cinder smiled up as she began to respond to me as I saw her room, "I say mister Alchemist you seem to get the people's attention now after the Spiders. How does it really feel to be a big shot?"
Scrunching my face up at that remark I responded with little to no joy being in the limelight in all of this, "Honestly? Not what it's cracked out to be. More like annoying vultures. But I did come to Vale to see you one more time before heading to Menagerie. I plan very big things there."
Cinder lightly laughs at my grand schemes of revolutionizing the whole island as she replied to me, "Haha… yeah. With you're abilities it would be a synch for you. Although I do wonder what you plan after though? Planning to enlist into a Huntsman Academy perhaps?"
Thinking for a bit it would be good to talk with peers closer to my age range…
But school...
Ain't got no time for that again.

Shaking my head and making a grand foolish display of being a big brain to her to get a reaction I replied, "Nope. For I Albus Burn shall pierce through the heavens with my magnificent Drill that will soar beyond the skies and beyond the veil that we call reality into greater reaches for my big brain to go."
Blinking with a deadpan look she merely replied in a dry voice to me, "Really had to go all big speech on that? Even if it sounds like cringe?"
"Yup."
Rolling her eyes she smiled as we talked and left her some instructions on magic spells for her Fire and Water magic as well as some encrypted manuals and translators to do Alchemy in the future.
She frowns at the books of text in different languages as I get up and ready to leave but not before leaving her some words of advice, "The books I gave you shall give you all you need to learn about Spirit Arts Fire, and Water Magic. And the Alchemic book… think of it as a test and try to decipher it. Do so would mean you have unlocked the TRUTH of Alchemy along the meaning of its laws."
Getting confused with my meaning she tried to answer as I kept a zip lock in it being mysterious like that.
If she manages to read the Manuel containing Water and Fire Alchemy she would be a really dangerous Huntress and Alchemist in the future.
It's the best I can do for her for now as she yearns for her dreams.
All she has to do is achieve them.

Stepping down from the stairs of the hotel Cinder was at I began to go to my truck to see my Spirits finally arrive to see me but also two interesting characters as I see the young version of Neo and Emerald standing in front of me.
Like in sudden fashion of course as I was surprised as Emerald and I just stood with eyes confused about how to proceed with this.
So…
Guess I'm going to make the first move as I began to clear my throat as I spoke to them, "So… are you going to return my wallet – "
To my genuine surprise and great confusion, Neo was the first to give me my wallet as I took it as Emerald began to speak to Neo for her, "Yeah… sorry about my friend here wants to return it back after… the trashing the All-Girls Academy did. Ahem. I'm also sorry about stealing from you…?"

Silence for the last few seconds felt so forced and off...

This is all awkward as all hell honestly to spring this up.
But I'm not one to waste a perfect opportunity here.
So faking my surprise and calming myself down I asked curiously to them in a respectful tone, "Yeah… so… about your friend does she speak or…?"
Neo frowns a bit at that as she conjured up using her Semblance as she bitterly smiles at that as she replied, 'Sorry mister Alchemist but… I'm mute and have been since birth without speaking a word…'
Smiling at that I began to glance near her as I told her an easy way to cure her troubles I scoffed off at this, "Please. The names Albus Burn and nothing in this world is impossible dear. Hell I bet you suffered because you couldn't speak right? But have no for Half-Might is here! With a powerful all cure I perfectly crafted for safe use."
Hearing my words her eyes just gazes at me with some hope but then some specision to them as Emerald raises my eyebrow not believing my words.
Seeing a lead come down I gave them something to remember as I used my Philosopher Stone when I transmute using a leaf into something inorganic, "Trust me. This Philosopher Stone is a cheat and can be used to make the impossible possible. Like, say this piece of leaf into…"
*Zzzz*
Their eyes now widen seeing the red sparks showing the leaf transmuted into a slice of pepperoni pizza as I took a bite as they saw witness to the power of the stone, "Into something else entirely. Munch. Mhmm… Pepperoni man I miss this. But something as simple as being born mute can easily be undone to hear your voice again missy."
Seeing this Neo immediately wanted to try it next as I made sure to reveal what the stone can do and help the ice cream girl out.

Yes, I am.
Even though I knew it I couldn't help but want to get the ice cream girl a favor knowing how loyal she was to Roman willing to go to hell and back to get revenge on Ruby even though it wasn't completely her fault.
She was a Harley Quinn to the Joker hence Neo is Harley and Roman is Joker.
I remember that tidbit of trivia clearly but since Roman is gone… and seeing that Neo saw the video footage as well as making the connection of dots as well as my appearance she would surely come to me.
While this does sound manipulative it was something worth doing.
After all, it's worth to consider having a trustworthy partner as her to have my back.
Friends at any chance can betray you given the circumstance or temptation of something.
A partner of the likes of Neo that goes through the same things she did in canon for Roman… that's something not easily found in every one or can be replaced.
She would be someone willing to go to any lengths just for their ally or friend.
Now that's someone I want to be beside me at all times.
That and she's a cute but very sexy short stack that I can't lie.
Giving out the info of the stone is bad here but if it's worth getting a loyal girl like her on my side… then the price is indeed worth it since you can't find any better loyalty like her out in Remnant, especially the heroes.
Remembering Ruby lie in front of Ironwood and others doing the same...
Yeah, I made the right choice here.
Placing my hand over her throat and examining it carefully using Ult. Eye I used the stone to restore her vocal cords and adjust everything that needed to be done.

The seconds it was done I told Neo and Emerald with a bright smile on my face as I replied to them, "And… there! That should take care of everything although I wouldn't recommend speaking too much now. I bet your new voice box still needs to adjust to you speaking ok Neo…?"

It was a small hiccup but...
I heard the voice is hoarse but still hearable as both their eyes widen a lot as Neo rushes me into a hug as I glance over to Emerald with a defeated smirk, "She's… not going to let go isn't she…?"
Emerald just makes an awkward expression on her face as she began to reply to me with a defeated face, "Yeah… looks like she ain't letting you go… I mean her life was worse because of her voice and has a crush on you for destroying her family life and school life… so… congrats on getting a girlfriend…?"
