Isekaied in RWBY

Disclaimer All copyrighted content is the property of its respective owner(s). You know the cliche some guy gets isekaied and have to be the hero of their own stories right? Well, this guy gets sent to RWBY with nothing but his knowledge of the plot and his understanding of how to survive using what he knows to survive. Knowing the plot and lack of faith in the MC of the show, he decided to put himself in harm's way to hopefully achieve his goals of peace. If they are the main characters or antagonists he will fight whoever threatens him as he learned firsthand how cruel this world is. ---- This is the rewrite of Gamer in RWBY.

Chapter 18: Time

Chapter 18: Time

~Albus POV~

After taking some time off healing I have been busy training again my Cursed Energy, Mana, and my breathing to help get used to it.

I took some time to reflect on everything I have been working towards for a bit getting here but, in the end, I still need to visit Vale for better or worse a place to temporary stay or a permanent one considering the safety of the Kingdom there.

And here I am still struggling around just trying to get there.

And what's worse I have to go through the cross paths to reach Mistral City just so I can take a train ride to Vale as I remembered from the show.

Good thing the Lien I picked up from the dead bodies that attacked the Village might help me with that but against a wave of Grimm though…

I would surely die if I ran into a hoard of them if that were the case.

Sigh…

Shaking my head for a bit I began to search through my bag till I find the item I'm searching for the liquid containing the Philosopher Stone in my hands I began to frown at what I sincerely lacked.

Power and knowledge to fully utilize my abilities to the max.

However, in RWBY there are no sorcerers that can teach me Cursed Energy, Alchemist to properly teach me alchemy, Magicians of the Re: Zero worlds to teach me, and no combat help except self-taught….

But in my hands, the Philosopher Stone may hold the keys I need to properly or hopefully become a master of what I want.

….

Damn it I can't believe I'm even doing this.

But it can't be here.

Not here in public.

First, get supplies before even attempting what I have in mind.

/////

Taking the time to pay for food rationing becoming it was high time for me to get going on the road again as I already left the town of Higanbana following the Mistral Path.

Have to hand it to the Ultimate Eye it really did my work as I managed to use it to navigate around the Grimm-infested area all around the place.

And with Cursed Energy to help detect Grimm I can find the best place for me to hide or take down the Grimm.

The fewer of them the better for me.

Man, it only has been a few months since I have stayed in Remnant and not everything has been great so far.

The only thing worth mentioning is the fact that the White Fang were more helpful than the humans here that's for sure but that might be because of Ghira support.

Going forward towards the forest I used my Mana to quickly get past the trivial sights of walking normally and used my Cursed Restoration to restore my stamina back to health again as I really like this Innate Cursed Technique.

Truly a cheat if it were any but I know I can make it better.

The question is was it worth it?

I could make a vow to it but I wouldn't really want to unless if I needed to.

Currently, I'm not in a situation to attempt to try unless I want to risk my own life.

Shaking my head, I began to hurry along the pathway as I encounter one of those signs like Ruby and her crew did try to get to Mistral City.

I went towards the path of Kuroyuri since I remembered where Ruby and the rest took that route to take the shortest route necessary to Mistral and my Ultimate Eye sees it all coast and clear with enhanced sight.

Looking around the area I nodded happily seeing no one or Grimm are around as I talked to myself holding the liquid stone, "Perfect. With no one around I can go do what I plan to do here in an isolated area."

Now was the time to meet GOD or TRUTH to any FMA fan that knows this.

The Gate of Alchemy also called The Gate of Truth, The Portal, and most commonly The Gate is a metaphysical and possibly metaphorical structure and is the source of alchemical knowledge and the entrance to God's domain, where no mortals are meant to tread.

But what I'm going to do is need to get knowledge of alchemy to help me.

Fortunately, enough as an anime fan I know in the series there are a few ways of meeting God.

According to the series, the Gate can only be opened using three different methods:

Using Human Transmutation to cross into God's domain.

Activating the proper Transmutation Circle on the body of an infant, as infants do not have a strong bond between mind, body, and soul and are, therefore, closer to the nature of the Gate.

Sacrificing a human or Homunculus in the proper Transmutation Circle.

However, I'm using the first method to do it as I already began to draw the human transmutation circle at the ready as I began to hold the stone in my hand as I gulp nervously at this, "Welp. Whatever happens next just happens. No matter the outcome…"

But then I stopped.

Holding the stone in my hands do I really have to consider this though entering God's domain worth the risk?

….

Sigh….

Placing the stone back and destroying the human transmutation circle again I might need a boost in power but…

Not while I lose the only chance I have against the monster waiting ahead and I did mean waiting ahead.

I can see the Grimm through my Ultimate Eye seeing it clearly as my fate.

Conserve as much power as I can.

With the stone, it will be much easier for me to fight against.

With that, I began to walk my path towards Kuroyuri holding the stone in hand in case things got too…

Life threatening for me that I die.

/////

*Tap*

Stopping a bit as I walked to this abandoned city I can just feel the fear and anger this place used to have.

And it just happens to be here in Kuroyuri as well.

Just great.

Still, though I made a lot of progress coming all the way here though so no shame in that.

Observing the area I began to see everything here has been thoroughly destroyed by the Grimm attack that's certain such a shame as well.

This looked to be quite a beautiful place.

Shame how it ended up maybe there are some good items to look around here.

Looking around with my Ultimate Eye it didn't detect any troubles coming for me –

"DIEEEEE!!!!"

Ow!

My ears!

Wait…

FUCK REALLY!

Quickly I got to see at a very far distance ahead with my Ultimate Eye the up-and-coming danger approaching after me.

Seeing the Nuckelavee is a horse-like creature with an equine main body and a skinless humanoid creature that is fused with it. Its forelegs are shaped like claws and it has hooved hind legs that leave a characteristic hoofprint.

The humanoid body has long curved horns on its head, a mouth that looks almost sewn shut, and two long elastic arms each with two clawed fingers. On the back of the human torso are boney spikes along its spine and a variety of weapons from previous battles stuck in it.

When walking on its equine legs, its attached humanoid portion hangs limply to one side, making its arms drag along the ground. Once the equine portion stops to stand still, only then does the humanoid portion of the creature become active, doing so with a spasmodic twitching movement.

When enraged, the spikes on its spine lengthen, as do its horns, its pupils become vertical slits, and its mouth opens completely.

Ugh, the sound it's making is very annoying, but this damn thing is incredibly powerful despite its figure.

I won't lie but it's absolutely terrifying as watching from a monitor didn't do it justice.

How I can tell is because my Ultimate Eye is doing the work immediately telling me the info of the Grimm in question with my knowledge of it.

And thank god for it.

The Nuckelavee was credited with the destruction of Oniyuri and played a role in the destruction of both Shion and Kuroyuri. Despite its jerky movements, it was quite fast and used its unnaturally stretchy limbs to attack.

Its screams were also very discomforting to the ear. It could also rotate its humanoid torso indefinitely without stretching, twisting, or breaking its attachment to the horse, as seen when it spun around while whipping its arms at RNJR.

The Nuckelavee was far more durable than its size and frail appearance would indicate, shrugging off dozens of rounds from Magnhild's grenades, Crescent Rose's rifle shots, and Stormflower's bullets in addition to slashes from the upgraded Crocea Mors.

Its arms and heads were more vulnerable, but the creature's long-range and vast strength made attacking them difficult.

This creature possibly possessed a degree of intelligence not commonly found in other Grimm, possibly due to its longevity.

It has a lair in which it discarded many of the weapons embedded in it over its life, as well as trophy-like collections such as a flag from Shion, a town many miles away whose destruction it participated in.

It was able to think and strategize, countering Jaune's encircling tactics by spinning its arms in a wide circle to strike all its opponents at once.

However, despite it's infamy the Grimm did have a weakness.

Attack patterns.

Glancing at it with the Ultimate Eye the weakness of this thing was that only either the horse or the "Imp" can move at a time.

And my right arm of deconstruction is more than enough to get past its scary defenses if I time them just right.

Welp.

Better get ready as I'm prepared to take this fucker down.

Readying the grip of my hands as I calmed my nerves I placed my left hand on the ground as it began to approach me faster griping the philosopher stone and activating its power.

*Zzz*

Sparks of red alchemic energy ran through the ground when I activated it with the power of the stone of reconstruction as the ground where I touched the land began to reconstruct the ground like rows of spikes began to go towards the Grimm direction as the horse is coming around.

I just have to get close to ending it.

But also deal the most or any damage in the process.

Man, why do I get myself into these kinds of situations?

But I'm not going down especially since I have the stone on my side I will beat this thing if it's the last thing I do.
