27 Chapter 27 - Unpaid work.

The next day, Nahida was not at Rimuru's house, so he did not see the generator start working. The generator made a strange noise and had a small "screen" signaling it was working.

It was generating power.

"That's great. Now we must wait a little longer until we can use the energy. I wonder if Nahida has already bought the computers and televisions I requested." Rimuru left his house and was surprised by Souei.

"Rimuru-sama." He suddenly appeared.

"What is it, Souei?"

"Did I do something wrong?"

"No, of course not." Rimuru waved his hand as he laughed. "I want you to come with me to Nahida's inn. You remember him, don't you?" Nazuna's face turned red at the same instant.

Despite the green color of her skin, the redness in her cheeks was so evident that it was clear she was dying of embarrassment. The night they spent together instantly came to her mind when she heard Nahida's name.

Rimuru tilted his head.

"What is it? Didn't you like him?" Rimuru thought Nahida had done something to her, but Nazuna denied it

"No, no, no. Of course not! He is a very kind man." She shook her head quickly, clearly stating that Nahida had done nothing.

"I see. So, do you want to come?" Rimuru wouldn't force her, but he knew she wouldn't refuse even if she didn't want to.

"Of course! I want to go. But why?"

"He'll explain everything when we get there. Shall we go then?"

"Can I put on some better clothes first?"

"... Sure, go ahead." Rimuru understood what was happening.

Sometime later, Rimuru and Nazuna arrived at Nahida's hotel. Nahida was at the reception. "Welcome. So you brought her." Nahida remembered Nazuna very well.

There was no way he could not remember.

"Yeah, any problems? Souei said she's a smart girl. I trust him." Nazuna was quite surprised to hear that Souei had complimented her. It was something she had not expected.

"No problem at all. I'm glad she's the one here. So, Nazuna, are you ready?"

"Ready?"

"Yes, prepared to study."

"Study?"

"That's right. Until the afternoon comes, you will have to learn how my inn works. It is very different from any other inn in your world."

"Well, I think I'm ready."

"Right. Rimuru, come back here in the afternoon. By the afternoon, she'll be ready to take care of everything here."

The first thing Nahida did, was explain how his hotel worked. He told Nazuna that his hotel received guests from many different worlds. She had to learn about the prices of his hotel.

For people coming from Japan, it would be 4,000 yen.

For people from her world, it would be three bronze coins.

They were very different values. On top of that, there was also the value of the plates of food at his hotel. Nazuna had to learn all this.

Nahida explained very calmly while writing down the prices in a notebook. In addition to writing the prices in the currencies of the world of Dragon Ball, Japan, Fate, High School DxD, and Fairy Tail, Nahida wrote prices for many different worlds(Approximate values), just in case.

Rimuru closed and opened the door again. Shirou saw the outside and was speechless. He blinked and shook his head, not understanding what had happened.

And before leaving, Nahida approached Shirou again.

"Take good care of Nazuna. People might do something stupid. Protect her."

"Right, I will," Shirou replied.

'I got a job in a strange place.' Shirou thought as he watched Nahida and Rimuru leave the hotel.

He grabbed his apron and got ready for his work. Nazuna smiled as she waited for the first customers to show up.
