Joining the Thieves Guild VIII

As I enter the Inn, I notice most of the patrons have cleared out and several drinks are still left at their tables. Thinking nothing of it I head up to the room after paying Keerava for another night I head up to my room to find the door wide open and the girls all sitting on the bed, from left to right it is M'rissi, Kasia, and Sofia. With Inigo nowhere to be seen and a very stern look on M'rissi's and Sofia's face, while Kasia bares a deep rosy blush on her own as she avoids eye contact.

"Um… Girls, where's Inigo? Please tell me you didn't kill him, I've got a job to do tonight and really need him for that." I say bringing in the clothes I got from the Guild and laying them on the dresser in a way that would hide the more thievish purpose of the clothes from Kasia.

"No, she did not kill the stray, just sent him on a few errands, hrumph!" M'rissi says with a pout.

"Oh, so why are you three here waiting for me?" I ask pulling up a chair before plopping down to hear them out.

"Yes, I don't appreciate the hard pounding you gave me earlier… I mean when you fought me that is." Sofia coughs while looking away, probably still flushed from the booze.

"And she now understands you are a dirty peeping Tommy like that lizard!" M'rissi exclaims in anger.

I then turn towards Kasia and ask, "And what exactly did I do to draw your ire? I believe I have been nothing but cordial in your presence, aside from dealing with a few of my less-than-hospitable companions." Giving Sofia a stern glare which causes her to shiver and look away from me even more as I return my gaze to Kasia.

"Um… N-nothing, C-commander! I just d-didn't feel s-safe going out on my own a-and Mr. Inigo had already left s-so I decided to s-stay behind and wait with Ms. M'rissi and Ms. Sofia. I'm s-sorry if you t-thought otherwise, I-I'll go wait downstairs!" Kasia says occasionally stuttering her way through due to nervousness before rushing downstairs to the empty Inn.

With Kasia gone and the bedroom door shut, I finally sigh and drop my prim and proper facade, "Ugh, I can finally breath. As for earlier, Sofia, you were causing a drunken scene and tried molesting our client. You had to be stopped. And M'rissi, if you were changing you should have locked the door, I didn't intentionally stare at you or 'peep' so we should probably put this event behind us and focus on that job I got from the Guild." I tell them motioning towards the clothes I just acquired.

"You're right, Silvy. I do get a little frisky after I get a few meads in me. So, I promise no more than ten, while Blondie is with us." Sofia relents and compromises… To the best of her ability at least.

"Hmph! You will not get off that easily, Fluffy! She demands one, no! Two head scratches, and fishies, and-" I interrupt her growing list of demands, by sighing and getting up from my chair to begin running my hand through her hair and lightly scratching behind her ears.

"Nya~… Purrr~… Her Fluffy is forgiven…" M'rissi says in an almost trance-like bliss, while Sofia starts to glare at her when a loud commotion is heard from downstairs breaking us away from this moment.

"I-NI-GO! I-NI-GO! I-NI-GO!" I hear chanting coming from downstairs and I go down to see the patrons that had left lifting and tossing a laughing Inigo into the air before catching him.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! I told you I could hop from the roofs of those stalls before one of you could throw a tomato at me!" Inigo shouts in joy before noticing me and asking to be set down before shouting, "Drinks are on me tonight!" He says tossing a pouch to Keerava I'm guessing is his winnings? Before moving away from his adoring fans who seem to be swarming Keerava.

"There you are, my friend! I was wondering where you went. Here is some of my winnings from my bet from the townsfolk, and do not worry I still have some left for me." Inigo says, pulling out a large bag of coins and handing it to me, shocking me to find out it's at least 250 septims in it.

"By the Nine Inigo! I appreciate it, but we have a job to get done and there's little time left before the sun goes down. Come on upstairs, we need to talk about it and get appropriately dressed." I say clasping him on the should with a bright smile at the unexpected surprise returning to our room to see Sofia and M'rissi silently glaring at each other only looking away from each other when we enter.

"Alright everyone. Sofia you'll need to stay behind and watch over Kasia, while Me, Inigo, and M'rissi hit Goldenglow Estate for the Thieves Guild." I say before Sofia complains.

"Really, babysitting duty again? Why me?" Sofia whines.

"Two reasons, the first being this is a purely stealth mission and you don't enjoy going in to jobs quietly." I say holding up a finger.

"Oh, yeah. You're right, and the other reason?" Sofia asks after a shrugging agreement.

"The second, is to consider this an opportunity to make up for your earlier behavior. I don't want to come back from the mission to find you thrown into the jail for public indecency." I say holding up a second finger.

"Huff, fine. But you owe me a drink after we get Blondie back home! I'll go and check up on her." Sofia says with a sigh before heading downstairs.

"Alright you two, I got us some guild outfits for tonight. Once changed, we're going to go over the plan and head out to the estate." I say, gathering the looks and tossing them to M'rissi and Inigo.
