Chapter 1

I found myself inside a white room, sitting on a white chair, facing a woman who I can say as one of my celebrity crush.

"Welcome, Ezra Creed, to a replica of the White Hot Room. I took this form to meet you to ease your mind, but refer to me as lady."

The form she refers to, is that of Takahashi Rie, one of my favorite voice actress. I don't know if the courtesy did ease my mind, but I feel calm, just like I always am.

"Lady? Can you tell me what I am doing here?" I asked her bluntly.

Because, as far as I'm concerned, I died after I tried to saved a girl from being run over by… a… truck?

"Fuck." I cursed out loud.

"Yes. From your expression, I could tell that you realize your situation." Lady said, giggling at my expense.

I don't like being made fun of, but since you look like Rieri, and you look cute, I'll look the other way this time around.

She didn't continue laughing at me, as her expression turned slightly serious after a bout of giggles.

"Ezra Creed, you are given the opportunity to experience the infamous 'Isekai Tour' that's being run by our higher up. The details are confidential as to why, only know that this chance is being given to you." Lady explained.

I somewhat understand, being a man of culture that I was, but I wasn't the type of person act before I think, so I asked questions in regards to this stuff.

In the end of it, what I manage to obtain from her was that I would be sent to an Isekai World, and that I could travel to other Isekai Worlds as well as other Fantasy Worlds, depending on my whims.

The worlds I'll travel to are random, but I'll find myself near the main setting of the plot every time I go to a new world, and I could return to the previous worlds I've been into at any given time.

They would also recreate my body into a vessel that could use the system of the world I would find myself in.

I would also receive the "Otherworlder" bonus, the normal cheat that every isekai protagonist the moment they arrived in their new world. It'll just happen once though, and only on my first world.

And the cliché, which is me receiving three random cheats at the start, which was given to me so that I wouldn't die just after starting my new life.

All of this, without anything in return. The lady explained that this is similar to winning a lotto, only that I managed to win the biggest prize.

"Okay, sounds fun. Lemme do it, lady."

Not accepting this opportunity is heresy.

"Perfect. Then which would you prefer to receive first; your first world, or your cheats?" Lady asked me.

Not that it really matters which comes first, only that the first world has to have a great Otherworlder bonus so that what I'll receive was great as well.

"Let's go with the starter world, please."

Hearing that, she summoned a slot machine into the table in front of me, "Please pull the slot, and that will decide your starter world."

I didn't think to much and did as I was told. The machine started working, and I managed to read out some words from it – mostly isekai anime titles.

The machine slowed down and stopped, and the words displayed on it are "Campfire Cooking in Another World with my Absurd Skill".

'Huh, I guess it isn't that bad?'

It's an average isekai world, with swords and magic, and multitudes of races in existence. It has a system where you Level Up after defeating monsters, and the best place to do so are in dungeons.

"Congratulations on your starter world. As promised, you will receive the Otherworlder Perk of this world which includes Language Comprehension, Appraisal and Item Box. As a bonus, you get to choose three skills as well, separate from the three cheats you'll later receive. The skills that you choose has Hero-tier capabilities, so please, choose wisely."

Choosing three skills separate from the cheats? Neat.

Of course I first pick Online Supermarket, the same cheat skill that the main protagonist of the story possess. This is basically a fourth cheat in and of itself.

The second and third skills I picked are Barrier Magic and Lightning Magic, for protection and firepower. I was a bit conflicted whether to choose barrier or healing magic, but I ended up choosing barrier in the end.

"Understood. Aside from that, we will include 10 gold coins in your Item Box as your starting fund, as you'll most likely find yourself in the wilderness on your first arrival." The lady said.

"Thank you very much," was pretty much all I could say in that situation.

"Very well, let's move on. It's time to see what cheats you will get." Lady waved her hand, and the slot machine for the starter world in front of me changed slightly.

Before there was only one horizontal bar for the starter world, now it has three horizontal bars, but it is still a slot machine

"Just like earlier, please pull down the slots."

And just like earlier, I followed as instructed.

The process was a repeat of earlier, only this time it has three slots, and the first slot at the top was the first to stop, followed by the others under it.

"Congratulations on your cheats, Ezra Creed." I don't know how to react to being congratulated for receiving cheats. Best to ignore it.

Anyway, what I received was Phoenix Core, Mirror Lion, and Jarnbjorn.

The Phoenix Core basically let's me possess the inner qualities of a Phoenix, both for my physical and magical aspects. It gives me increased strength, enhanced metabolism, fire affinity and immunity, near-limitless longevity, powerful life force, and incredibly deep mana pool.

The Mirror Lion, an ability that enhances the efficiency of weapons by a hundred fold, a cheat that's no less incredible than the first one.

And then there's Jarnbjorn, a divine battle-axe that belongs to the Valkyrie Runa, and Thor's weapon of choice whenever he cannot wield Mjolnir. It's made out of Uru, the Asgardian steel, which means it's incredibly tough, and should be magically conductive. I could play as Thor with this since I also have Lightning Magic.

"With that, your starting procedures are complete. Do you want to be transferred immediately?" The lady asked.

Fine, I guess?

"I'm ready anytime."

"Very well. Good luck on your endeavors, Ezra Creed." The lady bid me farewell as small strobes of light started surrounding me.

'Oh, before I forget.'

"Thanks for this gifts, lady!" I managed to catch a glimpse of her smile as she disappeared from my vision.

"Rieri is… really cute."
