On these two weeks Lex did his best to prepare for the Match with the Silent Witch

At one point

"Lex, I heard you've been taking Mission frantically recently" Mio worriedly asked, Lex then explained to her about the Match between with him and Silent Witch while omitting the cause of it

"I see…" she solemnly replied "then I gave you my share of Merit for these two weeks"

"I'm really grateful but what about you?"

"it's ok I still had my share of Merit from our past Mission, unlike you I didn't waste my share on that high-class cakes and cookies"

"ughh!"

"beside this is a loan I'm not giving you, I will have you work it back later with double interest kukuku"

"t-this black hearted girl!" Lex joked

"fuhahaha, if you cut open my heart you can see that it's darker than the darkest abyss" she replied with another joke.

"kugh!" then after a huff of laughter between them

"thanks…" Lex softly said

"you're welcome…"

At another point

"what are you doing here you prick!?" Lex went to the Fourth Area to ask them made an item that he can use to fight the Silent Witch

"what do you want?" Mare Crimson said with a blatantly displeasure at seeing Lex at her Lab "somebody help me bring my Destruction" she commanded but her disciple didn't move they understood that Mare didn't mean it, it wasn't the first time Lex visited their Lab.

Lex too explained to her what he wanted without making a fuss…

"alright, I understand come and take it four days from now, and don't ever come here again!" Mare said and *bleech she let out her small cute tongue, even if she didn't like Lex she can't abandon her job as the Fourth Seat.

Looking at her cute action Lex can't hold his desire anymore

"ah! Vera Crimson" he stated while strongly stared right behind Mare

"big sis Vera!" she happily turned only to find nothing behind her, her pleasure quickly changes into displeasure "you tricked- hya!" when Mare turned back again Lex already stood right in front of her and started petting and stroking her head

"hmm~~ fue~~" she's purring on Lex's hand like a cat

"how adorable~" Lex patted her for a few minutes, while the others on the lab looking at both of them with warm eyes

(maybe this is how it feels to have a cute little sister…)

"well then bye" after Lex satisfied he stopped stroking her head, and with full speed he ran away from the lab

"ah!" Mare made a small cry like she didn't want Lex to stop "…." Then after a few second she calmed down "YOU DAMN PRICK!! I'LL KILL YOU!!!"

(aa, I didn't hear anything~~ I didn't hear someone shouting trying to kill me~~)

At another point

"Master, here's your tea"

The Silent Witch she wanted to ignore Lex existence like before, but before she knew it *glup she sipped her tea, she already used to this action ('ah!') the deed had been done before she realized it, she looked at Lex only to find he's grinning at her

Her cheeks swelled up a bit again, no one would be able to find it out except Lex who had spent his time with her for these one year.

After succeeding his plan Lex went on his own way, researching about healing Magic, how much it can heals, how strong can it heals, etcetera

Then like a blink of an eye, two weeks has passed the appointed time has came

Not far from the Tenth Area there's an indoor training ground, it is similar a gymnasium on the school which is quite big, almost no one will come into this training ground because there's unique training ground for them at each Area, that's why a universal training ground like this wasn't desired.

But now this place is the perfect place for the match between Lex and The Silent Witch no one will come into this place, except for those who take the Mission to clean this training ground, Lex had cleaned this training ground too. The place is quite clean because its regularly cleaned

"are you ready?" a greenish blue text appeared between the Silent Witch and Lex, they both stood in the middle of the Training ground, there's about 15m distance between them while The Silent Witch wore her usual attire, Lex wore a big black cloak like jacket and with another quite big backpack on his back

The Silent Witch gave Lex a weird look but she didn't comment about it

"I allowed to use item, right?" Lex asked with his small white board then she nodded to reply Lex, "ok, I'm ready" then Lex threw the white board away

Actually it's easy to make word characters to communicate like the Silent Witch if you had a decent control of Mana, but for Lex who can't use and control Mana outside his body he can only use this primitive way to talk with her

"I'll prepare the stage" she replied, then at the same time she made a small step forward for the first time Lex saw the Silent Witch opened her mouth to talk in the silent world,

[ Field ] that's what Lex would hear if he able to hear inside the Silent World

Started from her small step a small dome appeared and increase in size at high speed quickly encasing the whole training ground, Lex felt like a small thin film passed him when the dome enlarged

Even when Lex understood that she's trying to avoid any other third party to interrupt them but he still speechless

(isn't this too fast? I can't feel any change of Mana at all and at this scale….)

Lex who can be called as semi-pro scout actually quite sensitive to the changes of the Mana in the air, every time someone uses Magic the Mana in its surrounding will be affected by that, that's why it's easy for scout to know when the enemy use their Magic even if they didn't chant out loud, the more skilled you are the more you can hide the changes of Mana in the surrounding but this time Lex can't feel any change at all.

Lex slightly proud with his detection ability, if he were asked what is his biggest growth on the past year, he absolutely answer it is his detection ability whether it's Magical or Physical one. Turner Crimson even praised him before that Lex detection ability alone almost on par with him.

Even with that he can't feel it at all, Lex body trembled just by thinking how skilled the person in front of him is…

(it's ok, don't worry, I'll win this match!) Lex cheered himself he took a few deep breaths to calm himself

At the same time Lex readied himself (Eh?) he was shocked suddenly there's nine silhouette appeared surrounding the both of them

"what are you doing?" one of the nine silhouette a gorgeous woman with fiery blazing fire like red hair and unrivaled big breast let out a greenish blue text, the same way as how the Silent Witch usually did, the gorgeous woman is Vera Crimson. One of the Tenth Executive and the Leader of the Crimson Eagle

There two things that made Lex surprised, one is the nine silhouette which appeared all of a sudden while the other reason is the identity of those nine silhouette which is Crimson Eagle's Executive with the Silent Witch added ten of Tenth executive assembled here

(….) Lex can felt somethings wrong so he kept his mouth shut he can't talk even if he wanted. There's a tense atmosphere between the ten of them, it's like the atmosphere of the soldiers who about to go to war, a heavy and strained feeling

The nine of them didn't even spare Lex a glance, their eyes fixed at the Silent Witch trying not to miss even a smallest movement of her

then the moment the Silent Witch moved her hand

(!?) it's like thousands of needles pricked Lex body, he can feel his body trembling with goosebumps on every parts of his body, all caused by he felt the changes of Mana around the eight executive except Vera Crimson, they all prepared their Mana to the point where they can shoot their Magic at any point of time.

(just what the heck is this!? Even a blind person can see the other executive being hostile with The Silent Witch! Aren't they comrade!?)

"nothing" The Silent Witch replied calmly she didn't show a slightest change of expression "I'm having a practice match with him, we had our agreement I won't violate that… at least not from me"

"really?" Vera asked Lex, because Lex can't reply like them so he can only nod to answer Vera Crimson

Vera breathed a relieved sigh "calm down" she told the others with text, the tension lowered a lot by Vera words

"haa…. Haa…. Haa…" (since when I held my breath… I felt like standing in front of death's door just now… seriously what the hell happened here?) the only thing Lex can understand from this situation The Silent Witch and The Crimson Eagle not one hundred percent in the same camp even if they're not hostile with each other at least Crimson Eagle were vigilant with The Silent Witch, they're cooperating with each other by contract, and then the rest executive except Vera literally afraid with the Silent Witch,

"we'll watch too" Venti instantly replied, to her Lex was her toy she wouldn't miss this kind of attraction, but the others too agreed to watch the match unlike Venti, the others reason is they don't believe The Silent Witch there's no way they gonna leave Vera alone with the Silent Witch. After that the other executive stood on the side looking at the Silent Witch and Lex facing each other

"are you ready?" she asked

"yeah!" this time Lex nodded resolutely he had time to harden his will to win this game (no matter what I'll win this match!) he thought

Meanwhile on the side of the spectator

"anyone know who's that kid is?" the Seventh Seat Ura Crimson asked, there's only a few executives who knew Lex on the acquaintances level like Venti, Vera, Mare, and Turner while the others didn't know him at all.

"that's not it!!!!" Mare cried

"what about you" this time Peter asked Venti who's earnestly watching the match between the Silent Witch and Lex

"me?" Venti a bit confused by the sudden question "I'm fine as long he stayed as my toy, hehe, I won't let him escape even if he wanted. Anyway looks like he's been taking the Scout Path for almost a year maybe Turner may know more than us" Venti said redirecting the attention of Peter and Ura.

"how is it?" the usual silent and aloof the Ninth Seat Luto Crimson asked too, he wanted to know too because lately Lex has been coming to the Ninth Area.

The Sixth Seat Tuner Crimson too understood why Luto wants to know about Lex, he himself knew it too that Lex started to go to Luto's place recently "Lex Spifer detection is his speciality and he have good physical abilities too, sadly because of something strange with his body that he can't use magic outside of his body, if not I'm sure he'll be the number one in our Scout Path this time, ah… he's a good personality too"

And then on the other side "Vera, if I remembered it correctly you're interested in him too, no?" Neptunia said

"well… yeah, he's the best on the training camp outside while become the worst one in the hidden world, it's normal but somehow I just can't get rid the feeling that he's different than normal" Vera replied helplessly as she knew that Neptunia trying to rival her once again, since long ago Neptunia held a rivalry sense toward Vera, it's one-way rivalry from Neptunia she can't do anything to clear that! "I felt like he'll win this match…"

"haha, what a good joke! Even we cannot touch her let alone him a weakling! What's the point being interested on that kind of weakling, birds of feather flock together! Only another weakling attracted to each other!" she ridiculed

"well, you might be right about that…" Vera passively said

"hmm!"

It can be said obvious while can be ambiguous too, Vera excel at Fire Magic while Neptunia excel at Ice Magic, Vera had an overflowing chest, while Neptunia had a just right a bit less chest, Vera liked to be low-key while Neptunia liked to be in the center of attention, and etcetera. They just contradict each other and Vera really had no way out from this, She's really are helpless as they can't fight each other, while she herself don't want it too so she can only be like this each time.

A pure strengthening magic… quite an ancient spell he got there" the only one who's not joined in the conversation between executives, The First Seat, Kuri Crimson said, with his words brought an end to the chit-chat between executives attracted their attention to the Match between The Silent Witch and Lex

Author's Note: I'm sorry for the sudden break, recently I thought the chapter becoming bland and dull or it just me who thought it like that I hope it's not. So I took this chance to see and read other references to make the chapter more interesting with livelier characters and more detailed scene and situation

Well, that's what I said… but the real reason is I've got hooked by another novel that I had no time to write my own novel I'm very sorry! Please don't leave me! It won't happen again!

At least when I didn't find another interesting novel…

It's a CN Novel for one week I've read till I reach chapter 3k more and you know what? that's not even half of the story! The latest chapter is 9k more! Seriously what the heck is going on that author's head? How the hell he can write that many chapter! While I'm still struggling to reach chapter 100 and then who's gonna read that long story anyway! Well… I still going to read it thought… and I'll do my best too

Then for those who missed Kate and others they're back on the next of next Arc I hope there's someone who missed them, then it may or may not be happened but I really like the kind of after story chat or comment like the one from 'I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!' or 'I Was Caught up in a Hero Summoning, but That World Is at Peace' so I'm going to try it too later, till next chapter
