39 When the day and the night meet again in an endless eclipse.

Narrator POV:

After that small incident, the group continued on their way after Eina asked him about those flames and he said that it was just his magic.

And Finn will catch up with the young man and apologize on Aiz's behalf.

He knew how socially awkward and awkward could be the girl that he, Gareth, and Riveria raised.

And Aiz Wallenstein simply watched the young man, as she seemed hesitant to speak to him now or after asking Riveria for advice.

But Mikhael did not pay attention to her, he had already put the matter aside and was looking carefully at the area where they arrived.

"So this is the famous pleasure district?" Mikhael commented after observing the surroundings.

It was daytime now, so the atmosphere was more or less normal. It seemed like another shopping district.

But at night when the prostitutes began to work, in this part of Orario, a strange atmosphere spread along with the laughter and sounds of women and men sinking into passion.

"Mikhael, you absolutely must not come here, it's a bad place," Eina warned the young man with terrifying seriousness. She didn't want the young man to be interested in places like these.

"Okay, okay, you don't need to be so serious, Eina." Mikhael laughed lightly seeing the half-elf's adorable face like that.

It seemed that she had taken the attitude of an older sister who wanted to prevent her younger brother from straying in bad places.

Moving forward the group reached the palace of Ishtar. A high-rise building with a finely designed structure.

And the goal of this trip. Why would Mikhael go there? Instead of asking for a more useful reward?

That was because Mikhael had read danmachi's novel called "Sword Oratoria".

In this, in a certain volume, the tragic past of Bete Loga was told. That made the readers empathize with who they saw as an annoying character.

In that volume, Lena Tally, an Amazon who was pursuing Bete, told extremely useful information to him, who was searching for one of the keys to the impenetrable labyrinth of Knossos.

Which was the den of the remains of Evilus and Enyo's group, whose objective was to destroy Orario and create a second dark age.

That information was that Ishtar, in her palace, had a secret room, where she kept that key along with her other important possessions.

And Mikhael remembered that information, so after Finn and the guild people spoke with the Amazons, who were alert for the sudden visitors.

They entered the palace, heading to Ishtar's private room under the guidance of an Amazon who watched them with vigilance.

Entering the luxurious room, Mikhael looked around. (Here it is...but looking for a mechanism to open that room would be extremely annoying, let's do it the classic way.)

"Quickly choose a paper and leave, Son of Hestia" The Amazon spoke sharply. Clearly not amused by the man who seemed to be in his own home by having a casual smile.

"Tsk, Tsk, how upset..." Mikhael spoke as he approached one of the walls of the room and under everyone's bewildered gaze, he began to touch the wall. "Hedin, I leave you in charge of defending me if I am attacked."

'Knock' 'knock' 'knock' 'knock' 'knock'

Hearing the sound, Mikhael moved towards the next wall, as he began to touch the wall point by point in a straight line.

"Young man, this was not allowed by the guild..." Finn advised as he understood what Mikhael was doing. He was probably looking for a hidden room.

But Mikhael had only asked for a random paper of ishta's place, this was a bit beyond the limits.

'Knock' 'Knock' 'knock' 'knock' 'knock'.

Ignoring both the hostile gaze of the Amazon and the advice of the kind Pallum.

Mikhael continued touching the next wall, under the gaze of Hedin who warned them not to do anything annoying.

'knock' 'knock' 'tock'

(It's here! the secret room!!!) Mikhael smiled happily and before anyone could stop him, he threw a punch at the wall.

And it collapsed due to the force of the impact, covering everyone's view with a cloud of dust.

And before anyone said anything to him, Mikhael quickly entered the secret room that was now not so secret.

"This is!!!..."

Mikhael's "surprised" scream was heard after a few moments. And after the smoke cleared, Finn entered the room, about to scold the reckless young man.

Only to see Mikhael's face "full of disbelief", who offered him a paper with some things written on it.

"Mikhael, this is beyond-" Finn unconsciously took the paper, about to speak, but the words died in his throat after reading the paper.

And he was immensely surprised, as was Hedin, who also entered and held a paper that had fallen to the floor thanks to the destruction of the wall.

"The Ishtar familia is collaborating with Evilus?!." Hedin shouted, half surprised, half angry, gritting his teeth as he read the entire contents of the paper.

Because in the paper he was reading were the records of one of the deals between Ishtar and Evilus.

In it, it told how in exchange for Ishtar giving Evilus enough economic or mineral resources, they would give him control over a creature called a "corrupt demi-spirit." More specifically one called "Gugalanna".

It also told of the existence of a man-made dungeon, right under their noses, and no one would notice it.

And Ishtar had detailed his plan to attack the Freya Familia in her letters to the Kali Familia. A Familia that reigned over the Amazons' home country, outside of Orario.

Making it clear that she had betrayed Orario by colluding to attack the Freya familia with foreigners.

As if that were not enough, in the paper of Finn, who began to take and read the papers one by one, increasingly angrier.

It detailed what Ishtar had done in Melen, the port city located near Orario.

(Betrayal of Orario. Sponsoring and working with Evilus. Being the cause of what happens in Melen. Planning to attack Orario with the help of a foreign country. Kidnapping people to use as slaves. Ishtar... Ishtar...Loki and Freya, if they send you to heaven without doing anything to you, that would be kind of them, HAHAHA.)

That was all Ishtar had done behind everyone's back in Orario. Mikhael knew it because was detailed it in the novel that had Aiz Wallenstein as the protagonist. However, all this had remained unknown to the masses.

Because before Loki, who discovered this in the middle of her fight against Evilus, did anything against Ishtar, Ishtar was slapped and sended right back to heaven by Freya.

Because Freya was upset by Ishtar kidnapping Bell Cranel in the original story. So she attacked the Ishtar Familia and burned this evidence in the process of burning down the pleasure district.

And that was Mikhael's main objective, to make Loki and Freya aware of the existence of Evilus's remains without him seeming suspicious for knowing all that.

That way, Enyo's plans would be ruined, and he would just be a talented young man who "coincidentally" discovered everything.

He would later have to thank Lena Tally, who accidentally gave him this information.

Mikhael laughed out loud internally thinking about this, this time he had made good use of his information. But he outwardly showed a surprised face and stammered a little.

"I-I just wanted to look for more evidence of Ishtar's corruption regarding the sale of slaves, who knew I would find this!!!"

And no one in the room paid enough attention to his performance to notice his falsehood. They were all busier reading all the papers.

"Mikhael, don't worry, you did a good job, from now on, this concerns all of Orario..." Finn said with an extremely serious face. What they had found here would undoubtedly shake Orario.

And the Loki Familia, as one of the two kings who were in charge of the city. They could not allow the existence of a rebel who wanted to dethrone them with foreign help. Nor of someone who worked with Evilus.

Then, under the frightened gaze of the Amazon, who knew almost nothing about all that. The group left back towards the guild after obtaining all the evidence.

Without noticing how among all that, it was missing a red key with a special shape that was taken by a certain young man when entering that room. And that same young man who then shouted with false surprise to call the others.

***

Everything after was a simple process, at least for Mikhael.

Who had already pushed the rock down the slope, now only had to wait for that rock to fall and crush Ishtar.

"Ishtar Familia, do you have any idea what you are doing?!"

Finn's angry voice echoed as he smashed a mountain of papers against the table in the room after returning.

And Loki, who felt strange by the reaction of the captain of her Familia, approached and took one of the papers.

Only to doubt her eyes as she read one by one, leaving her more and more amazed by Ishtar's audacity.

Then everyone read the papers that said everything while Ishtar's face was full of horror. She was supposed to have kept that in her secret room, why were they there?

The meeting then changed from questioning Ishtar to a judgment where the minimum penalty for Ishtar would be to be sent back to heaven.

And the Hestia Familia was able to leave, as next would be between the two largest Families.

As they would probably start the whole process both to deal with the annoyance that had arisen out of nowhere and to send Ishtar on a permanent vacation to heaven.

For this reason, Mikhael advanced with a satisfied smile through the halls of the guild with his group.

He eliminated Ishtar from the equation called Orario.

He let the two largest families know about Evilus and some of their plans.

He obtained a small fortune thanks to his dealings with the guild.

He got a reliable partner, to some extent, like Hermes.

And above all...

"By the way, if you don't mind, I would like to ask for my second compensation"

"Okay, which one is it?"

"I want the ownership of an Ishtar's slave to be transferred to me, and for her to join my Familia"

"And what is the name of that slave?..."

"Haruhime, Haruhime Sanjouno."

(Beautiful girl with fox ears~, adorable girl with fox tail~, free temporary level up~)

Hestia observed the rare good humor that her son showed clearly, while he was humming a melody that seemed catchy to her.

"Mika, who is that slave who will join our Familia?" Hestia asked with a pout. She wanted to take advantage of the time alone with him a little more.

"She is a Renard who has magic that will be very useful to us." Mikhael counted as he caressed the adorable goddess's head. Also noticed his new fondness for this.

"Besides, she's a good person, you don't need to worry about that, Hestia."

(I don't care if she's a good person or not, I bet that "good person" is a beautiful girl, Tsk.) Hestia kept her pout on, while she tilted her head for Mikhael to continue caressing her.

However, the biggest surprise and the biggest profit of that day was just becoming known at that moment...

"Things sure are good for you, right? Mikhael~"

A voice suddenly sounded behind the group who stopped for a moment to speak. Causing Mikhael, Hestia, and Ryuu, who knew that voice to freeze.

(There's no way in hell...) Mikhael turned around as he looked like a rusty robot by the way he moved.

At that moment, the words of The Oldest Dream, who said that she would give him a surprise, echoed in his head.

"Aura?!"

While the defenses established around his heart by his technique collapse pathetically before those golden eyes full of love and joy.

"What an adorable face, did you miss me? Because I did miss you a lot~"

And with Mikhael's increasingly trembling and moist eyes looking at the golden-haired girl who was smiling happily at him while making peace signs.

As Hermes (Rebellion) had prayed, the silver comet was reunited in another life with the golden star. This time forever.

(Really...) Hestia watched the couple's reunion with warm eyes. She, who knew what they went through, did not feel jealous, well maybe a little, but...

Instead, she was mostly happy for the young man, as was Ryuu. the same young man who firmly hugged the surprised woman who then began to caress the young man's head.

After all, Aurelia felt the trembling of his body that hugged her tightly, and his hidden tears, whose existence Mikhael would later not recognize.

And Eina watched the entire process with extremely surprised eyes and an open mouth. Looking at the unexpectedly sensitive side of the young man, she didn't feel disappointment or anything like that.

But she seemed to feel that some part of her heart shook violently when she saw the weak side of the young man so sure of himself.

Aurelia meanwhile smiled happily, as she hugged the body of the man she loved and rested her head on his.

"It's okay, it's okay, I'm here and I'll never leave again."

And the sun that had once brought color back to his world returned.

[The oldest dream combs her hair back, dressed in the clothes of a certain shinigami as she says that everything was according to the keikaku.]
