1 Dragon, Comet, Meeting.

Narrator POV:

In a vast and unlimited void, mostly filled with darkness. That was barely illuminated only by magnificent lights that almost had no end, separated but distributed throughout that infinite void.

Each one of those lights was a world, each one containing an exorbitant amount of universes, lives, and stories.

That place, the void, which had neither the concept of Time nor Space, connected with all the "Worlds", thus forming the most fundamental level of creation.

In that same void, so impressive yet lonely, that only a few hundred beings in all of creation could cross on their own with their physical bodies without depending on powers...

In that place, an oriental dragon of colossal size could be seen traveling through it.

With a size and length even larger than those worlds themselves.

It had golden horns shaped like antlers, violet reptilian eyes, and a serpentine body full of white scales that carried what seemed like a World on the dragon's back.

The dragon was, without a doubt, a being of immeasurable power. Being able to easily survive even in the environment of the Void solely based on its physical body.

That same existence traveled through the void, as she tried to find something interesting in some of the Worlds that would relieve its boredom momentarily, as it used to do most of the time.

At that moment...

(Hmm?)

Something similar to a comet came into her field of vision, it was pure white and she was not able to clearly distinguish what it was.

It was only the size of a supernova something tiny compared to the dragon or even the surrounding Worlds.

And it was certainly something that could fulfill the dragon's wish to be entertained at least a little.

(Interesting...) thought the dragon as her observed the trajectory of that peculiar existence, this time with much more attention.

(So that something like this is capable of traveling through the void. And I can even feel a slight but almost non-existent seed of an Authority.)

(To think that I would come across this on one of my routine walks, something like this would undoubtedly even shake the entire Little Garden if the news broke, kahahaha.)

Thus, as the comet quickly receded into the distance.

The dragon quickly took action and flew with an immeasurably fast speed. Ready to intercept that little one to satisfy her desire for entertainment and curiosity.

***

(In the brief moments in which part of my consciousness returned to me. I felt as if I were quiet, floating in my pool, that same pool that I loved so much during the summertime.)

(I did not feel uncomfortable, quite the opposite, I felt at peace, like I had nothing to worry about and just let myself go with the flow of the moment.)

An unknown soul thought while being fully aware that it no longer felt any part of its body, whether it was its arms, legs torso, or, any other part of a person's normal body.

(Of course, I wouldn't feel anything, after all, I'm already dead...). He thought calmly, having already accepted his fate, but still curious that there really was still something after death.

(I mean, I know that there are many theories about things like reincarnation, going to heaven or hell, or that after death there is nothing. But it is certainly curious that I have come to know that answer for myself.)

He was a human, to be precise, an "ordinary" Earthling.

his life was quite chaotic, he was born into a millionaire family, and he had luxuries that many did not have access to.

But like every cliché protagonist's story, one of his parents died during his childhood, to be precise his mother.

(Ugh, fuck...), He thought as that unpleasant memory came back to him.

it was a rainy afternoon full of thunder, the streets were slippery. To complete the recipe for a disaster, the driver, his mother, and he was in a car that was traveling through those same streets while they were heading home.

There wasn't any type of warning, it was instantaneous, a driver who was "not paying attention" collided squarely with the car that was transporting his family.

There were no survivors other than himself, being lucky and surviving the accident without any serious injury.

Later, his life was not the same as it had been up to that point.

About 3 years after the event, his father remarried a famous model, "falling" deeply in love with her and giving her all his attention to the point that he was negligent towards his son.

(although that old man was just drowning in grief, and instead of getting ahead he sank deeper with things like alcohol, drugs, and that woman...)

He thought as he remembered the only "two" true bonds in his whole life.

Beyond that, his life was "normal", growing up studying and graduating.

And of course, although he did not have anything like a real family affection throughout his adolescence.

His father allowed him any luxury he wanted to erase a little guilt of him for leaving his son aside for so much time.

That is until he started to get bored of the monotony.

he almost had nothing new to try, until he found the only thing that could give him enough excitement. It was extreme sports, of all kinds, no matter how dangerous that sport was.

(Funny that of all the things I did, I died at the end from such a trivial thing as a parachute failure that didn't open when it was supposed to...)

He laughed ironically at himself, not knowing if his luck was bad or good, since throughout his life his luck was like that, neither bad nor good.

The only thing he always had luck in was gambling and he left it after It became boring for that very reason.

"I'm curious how long you're going to stand there thinking stupid things while you make me wait."

That was what the voice he suddenly heard said while he was busy reminiscing about his life.

It was a beautiful feminine voice that had a hint of annoyance because her presence had been ignored for so long.

(I wonder, is it a goddess of reincarnation like in those novels I read, or a demon that comes for my soul for the sins I committed during my life?).

He thought after hearing that voice even after he was sure that he died.

"By the way, I have already made it so that you can feel, see, speak, and hear even in the deplorable state you are in."

"Then I guess I have to thank y..."

He was saying as he opened his non-existent "eyes" on reflex and suddenly he saw who he was communicating with...

They were on what seemed like the surface of an unusual planet, without any sign of life for kilometers.

The sky was clear but strangely the stars were seen too clearly even with the naked eye, but that was not the most surprising of all.

What surprised him to the point where his non-existent heart almost stopped was the "person" he was talking to, in front of him.

less than 15 meters away, there was a dragon, yes, a dragon, which by the way, was the size of a mountain, was an oriental dragon.

With horns like deer antlers, a serpentine body full of white scales, and intimidating eyes that were several times larger than its height of 1.80 meters that he had when he was still alive.

Suddenly, having noticed the little boy's reaction, the dragon seemed happy, while she laughed out loud and said with her feminine voice.

"What's wrong, surprised?,kahahaha"

All this happened while the soul simply stared blankly at the dragon, which was laughing for a few minutes, then it stopped laughing.

But just when it was about to speak, it started laughing out loud again.

(My luck...), thought the soul while observing the dragon or in this case, the dragon laughing shamelessly at him, (is it good or bad?)
