13 Dark Age, Evilus, Legendary Group.

Narrator POV:

The location was at the guild headquarters, which had a lively and noisy atmosphere as always.

Eina was currently sitting at her stall. Blending a product called coffee which had become popular a few years ago.

Same product that rose to fame thanks to the sudden appearance of a certain alliance of merchants.

Which, along with coffee, launched dozens of innovative products that quickly became popular.

Nobody knew where or how the company was created, they suddenly appeared 6 years ago calling themselves the Lazuli group.

The only clearly known public information was that the leader of the alliance was a Pallum.

Who belonged to a certain group almost 8 years ago,and she was famous for her trading methods and a keen intuition of profits.

As Eina slowly whisked her coffee, which served as her snack. She saw her face reflected in the drink.

(He shouldn't be too reckless on his first day, right?)

A sigh escaped her refined lips, as she remembered the adventurer who embarked on his first trip to the dungeon.

She thought about the impression he left on her a few hours ago. Although he seemed like a fairly passionate person, he didn't seem like someone reckless.

She would hate for it to happen again.

That the adventurer she was in charge of would return as nothing more than a cold body.

It was common for things like that to happen. After all, being an adventurer was a profession with an extremely high mortality rate.

The guild employees who had been there the longest even advised newbies not to get attached to their designated adventurers.

Otherwise, only suffering would await them when something inevitable but unfortunate happened.

Almost all the employees of the guild had already experienced that.

The disbelief and pain of seeing how the people who were chatting happily less than a few days ago returned as corpses, that if their bodies were recovered.

Eina had lost several adventurers she was in charge of, including her best friend, so she already knew quite well how that felt.

But she, unlike many other employees that closed themselves off and created a wall between themselves and the adventurers, to avoid being hurt.

She felt that perhaps. She could have prevented something like that from happening, even if it was just a silly and irrational feeling.

She honestly thought that maybe if her best friend was more prepared for the dungeon.

Perhaps, she could have survived. So while others kept their distance from the adventurers, protecting themselves from getting hurt further.

She remained steadfast in her goal of helping adventurers prepare as much as possible.

Whether through equipment, tactics, information about monsters, or whatever was necessary to survive.

Having left behind that immaturity that she had when she joined the guild at age 14. The only thing she was left with was a firm sense of duty.

"Eina, are you still thinking about that boy?

A woman with pink hair and eyes approached, while she sat in her booth that was located next to Eina's. Straightening the wrinkles in her uniform a little.

That uniform was a set of black vests and pants with a white collared long-sleeve shirt underneath and a gray bow tie. That was the standard uniform for all employees of the guild.

"You are in charge of a young man so pleasing to the eye, I envy you, I should have tried to get him"

As she sighed, the woman leaned on her desk. lamenting the good luck of her friend.

"Misha, isn't your quota of adventurers full?. With your character, I don't know how you would handle more adventurers than you already have."

As she finished drinking her coffee, Eina looked at her friend. Misha Flott, whom she had known for years since they were still students.

"By the way, Eina, did you hear about those rumors?"

Placing her elbows on her desk, as she swayed slightly, she asked her friend.

"Rumors? You mean about the prophecy?"

Eina adjusted her glasses, while she thought about the incident that made them work overtime last night.

"No, not that, it is rumored that the leader of the Lazuli group is in Orario right now. Apparently she came looking for someone, or at least that is what the information sellers say"

A deep curiosity was revealed in Misha's pink eyes as she spoke about that enigmatic merchant alliance.

"So that person came to Orario...First the prophecy and now this. I have the feeling that Orario will be in turmoil for the next few months."

Placing the empty cup on her desk. Eina complained as a slight worry mixed with tiredness appeared on her complexion as she thought about all the work that would come from it,

while suddenly her attention was drawn to the calendar that she had as an ornament.

"It's been almost 8 years since that event, right?"

The half-elf whispered as she remembered the end of the dark age that plagued Orario for 7 years.

Following the defeat of Zeus and Hera Familia at the hands of the black dragon, almost 17 years ago.

The world fell into chaos, with numerous evil groups seeing the opportunity to plunge the world into despair.

The greatest of them, Evilus, formed by an alliance of Families whose gods were evil. Aimed to destroy Orario.

They brought a shadow of destruction and death over Orario as they committed countless atrocities. turning the city into a battlefield.

In turn, numerous heroes of different Families like Loki, Freya, Ganesha, Astraea, and many others.

Raised their swords against evil, fighting for years against the group of villains.

Everything continued until almost 8 years ago when Evilus took decisive action against Orario by somehow obtaining the support of the remnants of the Zeus and Hera Families.

Determined to destroy Orario, Evilus swung their sinister claws at the people of the city.

Only for a certain group to rise against them, made up of people from different Families.

They managed to repel Evilus's attack and defeat the remnants of the two great Families.

Even going to the extent that the leader of that group, a presumed and unknown LV 7 whose real appearance was never seen beyond his silver arm.

Almost exterminated Evilus, forcing them to pass into darkness, while they were licking their serious wounds.

And all ended approximately 6 years ago. A year after the first defeat of Evilus when most of those remains were annihilated in a confrontation against the Astraea Familia. Who were members of that legendary group.

After those events, the long-awaited peace was brought back by those adventurers who even today are hailed as heroes.

Although the group separated, with the Freya and Loki Families becoming rivals who indirectly fought for the top of Orario.

The Astraea Familia left Orario and the Ganesha Familia took up their duty over the safety of Orario, and the mysterious leader disappeared since so.

The stories of that time are still told in taverns, while adventurers spoke of the glory of that group that surpassed the previous generation.

Also, according to rumors, the leader of the Lazuli group had been an apprentice of the leader of that group.

And participated in the events almost 8 years ago, this rumor was almost confirmed thanks to the close relationship between the alliance and the Astraea Familia.

Then as Eina remembered what she had learned in her training in the guild. Since she was still a student of the school district when those events happened, she looked around her.

The numerous adventurers spoke with the guild employees, exchanged magic stones for Valis, or chatted with the members of their groups.

All with peace and joy that would have been almost impossible to see 7 years ago.

"it's better this way"

Putting aside her stray thoughts of him, Eina prepared to return to work. While wearing a satisfied look on her beautiful features.

"Come to think of it, who knew I would meet Hestia's first son while walking through the city"

Suddenly, Eina's elf ears moved slightly. As she seemed to hear two voices at the entrance of the guild, one of them being familiar to her.

Voices that went almost unnoticed until the owners of these entered the guild.

"I was also surprised, who would have thought that I would meet an acquaintance of My goddess when I returned from the dungeon"

As a bad feeling arose in his heart for some reason. Eina slowly turned her head towards the entrance of the guild.

"But still, you carry quite a few things there, don't you?"

A handsome god with long blue hair said as a drop of sweat fell on his forehead.

"I had a good harvest in the dungeon, along with a couple of fortuitous encounters"

The one who answered him was the handsome young man with platinum-blonde hair that the half-elf had been thinking about earlier.

So, while Eina's blood pressure was rising. The papers in her hands began to crumple from the force of these very hands.

"Hey, hey, look at that"

An idle guild employee nudged her friend to look at the two visitors who caught the attention of several people in the guild.

"Oh, isn't that the new adventurer that Eina is in charge of? He looks pretty battered."

the beautiful werewolf woman with red hair and eyes nonchalantly observed him.

"Ara, I feel like I want to take him home to take care of him until he gets better."

Another of the guild employees commented with a palm on her cheek. While she had a motherly smile but a look that betrayed her intentions.

"And the other is Miach-sama, from the famous natural gigolo duo with takemikazuchi-sama."

Whispered comments like those were heard as the god and the young man walked towards Eina's empty stall. Who watched their approach with a blank expression.

"Good afternoon, Eina, you look as beautiful as always"

The young man awkwardly raised his unoccupied hand in greeting.

While the mood of the half-elf in question was betrayed by the completely crumpled paper between her hand and the veins that stood out slightly on her forehead.

"Good afternoon, Mikhael, you sure did well in the dungeon, huh?"

The half-elf spoke softly as a slight sinister aura stood out from her body. Such that even Miach and other adventurers took a few steps away from both of them.

"Well...you see...is just that...things happens"

"Things happens, huh?, That's right, things just happen sometimes..."

Then, as the young man watched the woman leave her stall and begin to walk slowly towards him. He suddenly regretted his lack of foresight in not getting clean a little before coming.

Already knew the half-elf's past but temporarily forgetting the consequences of his actions due to his encounter with Miach.

"The truth is that it seems worse than it is, seriously, nothing to worry about"

The woman only came closer and closer as her footsteps echoed throughout the guild and Mikhael tried to explain. Thinking that indeed, women were scarier than monsters sometimes.

"I'm sorry"

While maintaining an apologetic smile, the young man just raised his hands in surrender after placing the bag on the ground. And Eina, meanwhile, had finally approached.

The young man just watched her, already prepared for the angry woman's reprimand.

"..."

Silence spread through the guild suddenly, contrary to everyone's expectations, including the young man...

"What a relief, there is no injury too serious"

The woman simply felt with her hands the wounds already healed with potions on the young man's chest.

Then she wiped away the sweat, while a sigh made its way between her delicate lips.

"You went and gave me a big scare on your first day, huh?"

With a annoyed smile that Mikhael honestly found quite attractive. Eina reproached the young man.

"Please don't surprise me like that again, okay?"

As the sinister aura returned, the half-elf lightly tapped him on the shoulder as her implied threat rang through the air.

"Okay, I won't, but Eina, not that I care, but you're a little close"

Although relieved, he gently reminded her of his current distance from the woman who had acted without thinking.

"Huh?"

As she felt the surrounding gazes on them. she became fully aware of her close location to the young man.

(This... I did it almost without thinking and for some reason... I didn't feel any displeasure when touching him).

The woman remembered her unconscious actions, becoming confused by even having the feeling of wanting to touch him a little more. Then doubting when she had become this kind of pervert.

After all, elves were a secretive race who disliked close contact with almost everyone. With only certain people being different, as they felt comfortable with them.

Eina, having elven blood in her veins, was no exception to this characteristic.

'cough'

"Follow me to a private room, Mikhael."

As she distanced herself from the annoyingly attractive young man and coughed in her fist.

She turned around and began walking towards his office, telling him in a stern tone.

"You too, Miach-sama"

She reminded the God who only watched the spectacle from the side with a smile. who was whispering that this how youth was like.

"Yes, I'm coming"

The god responded first, clearly not believing the little employee's serious act. After all even he could see how red the girl's ears were.

"Yes ma'am"

Followed by the young man who saw that he had escaped the immediate danger, and he said in a voice with a slightly playful tone.

A tone that, along with what he said, caused the half-elf to stagger a little as she walked. Just to then accelerate towards her destination, wanting to hide her slightly red cheeks.

Thus, they left, leaving behind confused and envious adventurers.

As well as several guild employees who had knowing smiles. Including Misha, who had already planned to make fun of her best friend.

Only Rose, the beautiful red-haired werewolf woman. Who had a frown on her face as she watched the group of three enter a private room.
