Is it Wrong to be Reincarnated after Death?

Live your life to the fullest. Haru heard these words a lot, but no matter how many times, his heart refused to listen. 'Live life to the fullest? How am I supposed to, stuck in a hospital with a few days left?' These were his thoughts as his life slowly left his grasp. That was his thought, but during one of those days as he sighed, observing with a broken smile, the dazzling sun now waning, the door of his room burst open, generating a sound so loud it scared him. "...I'm sorry if I'm late!" Said the girl, panting as if she had run miles and miles without stopping as sweat clearly flowed down her cheeks. --- This is a work of fiction and I do not hold anything of Danmachi other than my own character and backstory. Being confronted by monsters stronger than before, and also of two different types, Haru sighed. The little stamina he had managed to recover was partially lost thanks to the Dungeon Lizard, but even if this was the case, Haru continued to hold the sword's hilt in front of him.

He could feel his muscles were heavier to move, and he also deduced that this wouldn't let him able to escape the kobolds' blows easily. The fact Haru had set foot on the fourth floor, meant the monster's parameters must be slightly higher than before.

The situation could be defined problematic, but even if this was the case, Haru felt he could still manage the situation. This realization of his made his heartbeat, noisily beating since he noticed the presence of monsters, calm down a little.

He was able to see the monsters with the same air of madness, yet Haru concentrated on all the details that might have escaped him. Such as the sound produced by their feet as they kick the ground to gain momentum, he looked closely at their body language, carefully noticing which of it would arrive first at the destination. Although he didn't know the reason for his actions, Haru changed his position for the first time.

The action of having the sword face in front of him was what he thought to be the only type of guard he could master until a moment ago, but what he didn't know was that changing the position of his body was crucial to succeed in the counterattack.

However, Haru raised his sword, carrying it quickly behind his back, His right foot leaned forward, allowing him to be ready to react.

The monster who had arrived at its destination didn't even react to his change in position. After striking its blow, however, its eyes trembled. What before itself was no more than a lad with a sword in his hand, suddenly changed in what was the hard ground of the Dungeon from which it came out shortly before.

---

Assuming a different position, Haru felt confused by the sudden change, but as if a light lit in his brain, he immediately understood what it was.

Although he wasn't yet well aware of how the balance worked, Haru could understand that this pose, different from everything he had seen before, was much more effective in this situation. Since the power required was high, what Haru had to do was inflict a blow so powerful as to reproduce the horizontal cut, and that's where the idea almost popped into his mind.

In this particular position, its balance was much improved, which made the idea of attacking after evading much more realistic.

But he didn't have time to think about the technique itself. Haru quickly dodged a blow from a Kobold, before finally counterattacking. Since in that position the only option was to aim at the neck or torso, Haru decided to cut off its head.

Swinging the sword irregularly following an oblique line, Haru was able to cut the monster's head as the latter hadn't even realized it with its head falling to the ground, Haru paid attention to how the monster's body disappeared instants after.

He couldn't waste too much time behind the death of a single Kobold, however. Now that he had found a guard able to overpower the enemies, Haru could use the counterattack instead of having to go through the effort of dodging, backing, and utilize the horizontal cut that was tiring to use incessantly in a short amount of time.

---

Having inflicted a fatal wound on the last remaining goblin, Haru saw it perish in front of him while he was panting heavily. Before he could rejoice at having discovered a new way to face the monsters, however, Haru felt a rather sharp pain in the back, which forced him again to use his sword to stand up straight.

In his fight, the monsters had failed to inflict any serious injury on him, so he was quite sure that no one had reached behind him. Taking again into consideration the technique he had carried out, Haru realized that perhaps the fault was the stress he had put on his shoulders.

'Indeed, the sword is quite heavy'

Deciding to give this answer to his doubts, Haru ignored the pain. He was curious to know why suddenly a technique had come to his mind even though he had no memory of having ever seen it, but this time, it was the system to clear up his thoughts.

[The Host has met the requirements that provide more information about the development ability [Swordsman]. In this world, abilities are developed with little knowledge, inhibiting the potential of millions of adventurers. The Host, as a secondary effect of the skill [Intuition's Holder], can discover with time more information on the techniques available. However, It must be the Host to decide whether to practice them or not.]

As explained by the system, it seemed that not only the development ability [Swordsman], any skill that was not an Innate could be developed by Haru as long as he devoted himself to them.

However, the intent to reach the peak of the sword or any other ability was purely in his hands. Once he met all the requirements, it would not be difficult for Haru to master all the skills he wanted to devote himself to, and the first thought to this revelation was only one.

'Looks like I do not have to worry about Bell Cranel, after all'

Giggling, Haru was about to head back. Although he had only reached the first half of the 4th floor, he still managed to overcome his limits, which would have been enough to get him a nice power-up, or at least that was what he believed.

'All right, I guess I should sell...this stuff.'

The small bag that Haru had brought to collect the magic stones was so full one could notice the violet colour of one of the glittering stone even on the edge of the bag.

Since he had no space in the bag, Haru had used his small [Inventory], and luckily all the monster drops managed to enter, just because their drop rate was by no means common.

As he exited the Dungeon showing his adventurer ID, the guard who was there was stunningly surprised. The boy in front of her had the sleeves of his shirt completely covered with blood.

But that was not all. She could also see the same traces of blood on the pants and his chest, at first glance belonging to goblins and kobolds.

'I cannot imagine how many monsters he killed to get all this blood.'

Anything other than the magic stone and the monsters drop vanished into thin air, and it rarely happened that blood could remain on the adventurers' clothes, but it was always in very few quantities. However, Haru seemed to have faced a lot of tough fights, and yet he was not even remotely surprised.

The guard chose not to let her mind wander in thoughts as whatever the adventurer had done or how many monsters he had killed did not concern her.

All she cared about was that his ID was registered, so she granted him access to the outside without hesitation.

After Haru had discovered the new possibility that his skill offered him, he chose to update his status. Since he would not proceed further for the day, there was no reason to continue not to add the excilia, and before he knew it, Haru could feel how part of the force he had previously used had come back. This feeling lasted only a few seconds, and once it ended, he decided to check his status.

[Intuition's Holder]

Rank: SSS

(This is a skill defined as innate, the system cannot discover all of its effects)

Effects:

- The will of the boy who had decided to repay his beloved. The strength of this skill depends entirely on how much the user will have faith in his resolve. Whenever deemed necessary, the user will use this skill to change an already written event. The whole world is nothing in the face of this will.

- The will of the boy who wants to change the world depending on the skills he cultivates. If the user meets special conditions, he will obtain additional knowledge about the ability the Host is trying to improve. As this skill will be activated more than once, requirements to be activated once again will increase exponentially.

- (You need to meet special requirements)

'I have increased my parameters by so much, the rank of my [Swordsman] development ability increased from I to H, and I also have already unlocked a second part of the skill [Intuition's Holder]. There was a lot to gain from following the system advice.'

He knew that without the system recommendation, he would probably have stopped at the third floor, and maybe take several weeks to obtain as much as he gained in mere hours. He did not possess explosive growth regarding the increase of the parameters like Bell Cranel, so this was the best choice he could take. Now that he had another technique with the sword, and his overall strength increased, the 4th floor would now be simple for him to overcome, making the amount of excilia gained unproductive to remain on this floor.

While these thoughts filled Haru's mind whenever he had some free time after clearing the areas so that he could go back to the surface, Haru could see that if before the monsters were lower in parameters, now seemed even slower than before. Since he now had a technique to remedy the excessive consumption of stamina, Haru could not help but sigh while shortly after all the monsters present in the 4th floor he had so much trouble to beat were wiped out.

---

'It is better if I go first to change my clothes; Then to visit the guild, trade all the magic stones and drops. After that, I will finally go to Hephaestus so that she can understand how much I have improved.'

He wanted Hephaestus to trust him. Since she would be the one to look at his story and write it for him behind what was his Falna, Haru wanted her to trust him even if he said things that seemed as mad as the idea of wanting to change the world.

'It will be difficult, but I have all the time in the world to make that happen.'

He knew that forcing the relationship between them would make things worse. The only thing he could do was let time flow while showing Hephaestus his worth, and last but not least, try to fulfill her wish, even if it meant dedicating years of his life in pursuit of the blacksmith's career

(Ah btw regarding his [Intuition's Holder] don't mistake the two effects of the skill. What he did when Hephaestus before joining her familia, was the first effect, what Haru learned in the Dungeon was the second effect, hope you aren't confused...If you are please join the discord and ask me whatever you want, or use the comment section.)
