93 Short story 3: a lesson on vengeance and goals in life

Sophia's POV:

"No way! Did you really?!"

I happened to overhear a few maids talking outside the door of the library while I was reading some books on basic magic theories.

(Those voices…their names are Marilyn and Josephine if I remember correctly)

Despite how I usually act I made sure to remember the names and faces of everyone who frequents the mansion.

"Yeah it was terrifying, all I did was say hi to him and he glared at me like a hungry predator waiting to devour its prey, I was so scared I actually thought he would jump at me"

Although usually in situations like these I would tell them to be quiet so I could read but this time I found myself inexplicably drawn to their conversation, mostly because of the one they're talking about.
