103 Chapter 1: past and future

In a certain forest cavern 76 miles away from the imperial capital Millelith…

An unbelievable scene was playing out…

Warm bodies were lining the cavern dirt and like some kind of hippie public gathering/camping trip.

And it wasn't just humans either, there were elves, Tauruses (a type of bull-like beastmen) and Pantherians. Most peculiar was a strange breed of dogs with brown-golden fur and long ears lying unconscious. These are blink dogs a species of canine summoned from a another realm that have the special ability to teleport short distances, usually in a 40 meters range, hence the name "blink dogs".

And at the very top of a throne built using these unconscious bodies was a young boy with an empty, hollow, dark red set of eyes, slightly pale skin and an apathetic expression that clearly conveyed a complete detachment from reality.
