Chapter Seven

Ale's POV

My mate.

I just don't understand. Why won't he just turn back to his human form. He would heal faster and we'd be able to have a normal conversation.

I glanced into my room, and saw that he was fast asleep.

I didn't even know his name.

I sighed and shut the door.

What was I doing? Going to all these different places to find a mate and ending up a male mate who is a tiny little wolf.

I wonder how old he actually was. His wolf seemed to be in a young bloomer stage, while his eyes seemed to be in an adult stage.

I was so confused.

I got up and walked to the kitchen bar and poured myself a drink.

One beer just wasn't enough. I drink about 10,  to even feel a light buzz, when Julie walked in.

"I think he can't change into human form." Julie said sitting down next to me, while pouring herself a drink.

I looked up at her with confusion in my eyes.

"Why do you say that?" I asked slurring a little bit, "He might just not want to talk to us."

"If he could change, he would have changed in order to open the door to save himself." Julie stated sipping tequila, "Also he would change to heal faster."

I processed what she was saying.

It all made perfect sense.

"Damn.." I sighed and looked toward the door where my mate was, "Why did the Moon Goddess have to match me up with someone, as messed up as him? Not to mention, he's a guy!"

I put my head down, letting the alcohol numb my wolf. Getting up,  I made my way to the couch and passed out. When I woke up, a pounding headache passed through me.

Damn. I must have drank to much.

After stretching and doing my daily cleaning up, I walked to my room to check on my mate. When I got to the door, I could barley smell him.

Hurrying to open the door, I looked toward the bed to see it completely empty.

Touching the spot where my mate had been, the spot was cold to the touch.

When did he leave?!

Especially with that injury!

Damn It!

I informed my Beta, and we started out to find my mate.

Where and why did you go?!
