Him mentioning about his lips made me slid my gaze to the aforementioned feature, causing me to recall the kiss we'd shared a few days ago. Oh, melt. I dropped my gaze on the ground and shook those images away. "Are you fishing for compliments?"

"Since it's difficult to get it from you, I have to say I am." He pointed at a yellow bicycle parked not far from where we stood. "That's our ride. Let's go." Surprisingly, he took a hold of my hand and we rushed forward.

The ride was short, in less than fifteen minutes we've arrived at the beach. Or what I assumed was the beach since it was quite dark and the clock on my phone screen told me it was close to midnight.
