CHAPTER 43 Once Most Wanted
Olivia's POV
"No, Ava, he hasn't stopped. He'll probably send me another threatening letter because I broke his rules. As long as he continues to try to engage and control the situations, eventually, he will slip up."
"I understand, Olivia. I'll keep an eye out for it."
"Thank you, Ava," I asked, "but how did you know I was in the hospital?"
"Beta Jack was waiting at the club and told me."
I felt my heart warm. This was definitely Lucas's arrangement. He always seemed to guess my plans.
"Also, I have something else for you to help me check, Ava."
"Do you want me to do it now?"
"Yes, if you don't mind."
"Okay, no problem."
After we finished talking, my father and Lucas came back. After Ava greeted them, she left.
"Do you need more rest, Olivia?" My father sat next to me and asked, "Or do you want something to eat? I'll have the staff make it for you."
"No, Father, I'm not hungry. I just want to sleep a little longer."
