Iris dropped from the bike and payed for the ride,she had come to the nearby town so she could get connection to make calls.

She didnt know if Liam had already travelled out of Nigeria,but she needed to try so she tell him of her present situation ,she might end up a married woman before going back to school.

Another reason for coming to town was to avoid another unwelcome visit from Chukwudi, her mother had refused her to return the gifts he had sent she had threatened to burn them which had led her mother to pack the things in her room.

she recharged her phone from a nearby store and dialed Liam's number.

The phone rang several times,but he didnt answer,she felt down in the dumps

Almost immediately her phone rang back and it was his number displayed on the phone making her heart skip
