1 Ye Feng

Cloud City, Flowing Wind Kingdom

Cloud City was a small city located at the border of the Flowing Wind Kingdom. It was also the city closest to their neighboring kingdom. Inside a carriage in the city, a young man was sitting while eating fruits given to him by a young maid beside him. He was Ye Feng and he was not a real resident of this world.

It happened two months ago when he woke up, he suddenly find himself inside the body of this young man. At first he was shocked but he quickly adapt to this new world with the help of his cheat. A cheat in a form of a system like in the novels that he had read in his previous world. Going through the memories of this young man, he knew that he was a useless young master with a broken spiritual roots.

His father couldn't accept that his son was useless so he send him in this run down city with only several guards and maid with him.

This world is clearly different from his previous world as this world was only ruled by those who have power. This is a world where the strong eats the weak. So being weak in this world could already be considered as a sin. Cultivation is possible in this world as there were experts in the past that could flatten mountains, split the sky, and drain the seas with just a single thought. Those people were called cultivators or martial artists.

There are many levels or reals in cultivation, but with his memory, Ye Feng only knew the first 5 realms. The Qi Gathering, Qi Condensation, Core Formation, Foundation Establishment, and Golden Core Formation. Each of this realm is divided in four stages the, Early Stage, Middle, Late and Peak stages.

But he didn't have to cultivate like all of the people in this world. He can get stronger with the help of the system inside his body. Like right now, the people thought Ye Feng was a trash because his spiritual root is broken. But what they didn't know was that his power was already comparable to a Early stage Core Formation Cultivator. Which could already be considered as an expert especially in this small kingdom.

"Young master, we've already arrived at the mansion" the voice of the coachman came from outside the carriage.

The maid who was serving him opens the door of the carriage and Ye Feng went down. The mansion in front of them were not really that big and glamorous like the mansion they have in the capital. When he got this eyes, he was so excited that he immediately tested its powers. The result, he destroyed not only his room, but also a huge part of the mansion.

"Young master" when he entered his study room, Ye Feng was greeted by a large man standing over 21 feet in height. He had a crescent-shaped mustache and he was holding a bisento in his one hand. This man in none other than Edward Newgate or Whitebeard from the anime One Piece. Ye Feng was lucky enough to have summoned him first.

Sitting in a chair, Ye Feng asked, "What about the movements of the bandits in the area? Is there any changes to them?"

"Gu ra ra ra ra! Those bandits thought that they could plunder the city, so they are preparing to attack in the next following days. From the spies that the young master had sent, it is estimated that their number is about 2,000. Adding to that, it seems that the Mu Family in the city is connected with them" Whitebeard reported with his signature laugh.

Inside a big room, the patriarch and the elders of the family was having a discussion about their next move. After having an alliance with the bandits outside, they came to an agreement that the bandits would received a huge wealth in exchange of helping them deal with Ye Feng, the new city lord.

"Are the preparation already complete?" the patriarch said while looking at the elders of his family.

"Yes patriarch, that trash from the capital will surely die this time. With so many bandits that will attack the city, there's no way that he would survive" an elder answered showing a sinister smile in his face.

"Right, why does he become the city lord. He's just a trash thrown away by his family. There's no way we would submit to him" another elder added, showing his dislike towards Ye Feng.

Sweeping his eyes to the elders around him, the patriarch asked, "What about the man always with him? What did you find about him?"

The patriarch was always curious about Whitebeard's sudden appearance with Ye Feng. His heart couldn't rest properly as he thought that the man was not ordinary.

"About that, the investigation on where that man came from is still unknown. But we believe that it was not really necessary because he was only one person. Even if he is strong, can he defeat a whole army of bloodthirsty bandits?" after saying that, the elders in the room all agreed to him. For them, there is no way that a single man could stop them. They were very sure about their victory in their plans.

While they were talking, a shadow arrived beside the patriarch and whispered something in the patriarch's ear before disappearing.

The elders all look at the patriarch waiting to know what the man just said.

Looking at the elders around him, the patriarch said, "The bandits outside is already prepared and can attack tomorrow. We need to send some men in the city gates that would open the entrance for them"

Hearing about the report, all the elders have a smile in their faces.

"At long last, our Mu Family will become the ruler of the Cloud City!"

"Right, right! Our ancestor will be pleased if they knew about this!"

This day, the Mu Family was destined to be noisy as they are celebrating of their upcoming victory.
