97 Chapter 97. A little more

20 years later,

Keith's empire had conquered a huge territory. Every kingdom they conquered had all its citizens massacred and its buildings demolished.

This induced a sense of fear into the hearts of many other kingdoms, which caused them to be antagonistic towards the Olton empire. At first, Keith felt that his kingdom was in a risky situation. However, he was proven wrong.

All the soldiers who had gone to the battlefield to kill had their powers increase by leaps and bounds at a time by reciting the hymn of his lord. Now only less half a dozen enemy kingdoms were left.

All the farmers of his country who faithfully prayed to his lord at night were blessed with ample crops.

And all those people who had lost the men of their family experienced a peace of mind after reciting his lord's name during the funeral.

More than that, his and Nessa's strength had reached a point where they didn't feel the need to cultivate to become stronger. They already were the strongest in the entire Aurous Island.

Looking at the aurora in the night sky, Keith sighed to himself, 'Now that I've taken the revenge, become the king and even the strongest man of this Island, I don't feel fulfillment, I just want to...be closer to my lord.'

...

In another part of the castle, a young boy with a noble air around him was lying on his bed.

"Maids, bring me more fruits." The young man ordered his maids while waving his hands.

One of the maids quickly left and returned with a small basket full of a purple apple-like fruit.

The young man took the fruit and ate it as the maids stole glances at him.

This young man had a sturdy physique, golden hair wavy hair. Something was peculiar about this man as his mere presence had increased the room's tempreture.

This was Tirus's clone, born as the son of Keith, the prince of the Great Olton Empire, August Spec, although he rarely used this name.

This clone of Tirus had the Sun's child bloodline in him and the contents of the cultivation technqiue 'Wing of the Sun' had been given to him the moment this soul fragment had matured into a truesoul.

And since he was only a fragment of Tirus's trusoul, the power of his version of A.I. chip was quite limited, however, with the help of his rank 6 bloodline he had broken through to become a rank 1 magus within this short span of time.

And with some help from the main body, he tried, then he could easily become a breaking dawn monarch as well.

...

In the main continent,

Beth was sitting inside a volcano surrounded by formations, trying to absorb the nearby fire-energy particles, but failing everytime.

These particles weren't ordinary, rather, they contained a higher form of power, the power of the laws of fire.

She had, just like Tirus, created an organization among ordinary humans named 'Cult of the burning witch' and had been using simple fire rituals and the exessive use of fire by the ordinary humans to get a glimpse of the law of fire.

'Now, just a bit more before I can let my bloodline evolve, though I can feel it, it should be enough for an evolution.'

Rather than relying on Tirus, she had decided that she'd gather the fragments of the law of fire little by little until her bloodline evolved.

Tirus had told her that as a rank 5 magus, it was almost impossible to comprehend a law, however, if she could still let her blood come in contact with the law for a long enough time, then there'd be a high chance of mutation and then she would only need to take a drop of Sun's child bloodline during her breakthrough to rank 6, fully evolving her own blood.

'Those shamans really are quite weak.' She thought. The shamans of this world were basically the magi. The strongest one of them in this continent was at rank 4, extremely weal according to the current Betg.

She stopped her thoughts and focused on cultivation.

...

Inside his cultivation chamber, Tirus opened his eyes.

[Beep! Comprehension of the law of death has reached 12%]

'If everything goes fine, then I might reach rank 7 within 400 years!' Tirus, for the first time in centuries, couldn't hide his excitement.

Only after completely grasping the power of a single law will a magus be considered to have entered the rank 7 and be on the realm of laws.

And they'd stay alive as long as their laws were not extinguished.

'A little more...' Tirus had his A.I. chip calm his excited mind and closed his eyes.
