Chapter 43. Experiments

After scanning a sample of Beth's bloodline, Tirus found out two things,

First was the fact that she really had merged her bone element deep inside the bloodline, so calling it 'fiery dragon bloodline' was now a little inaccurate. But he was too lazy to choose a new name, the change in the bloodline wasn't too drastic anyways.

Secondly, she was now able to conjure up flaming bones, increasing her battle strength by leaps and bounds.

He had the A.I. chip modify the 'Elemental Bone meditation technique', thus allowing her to cultivate without the fear of death due to energy instability.

A few days had already passed,

Now, inside the secret plane,

In the experiment lab of Tirus's castle.

Thousands of ordinary centipedes were inside a container,

Next to it was a massive jar, densely packed with spiritual force. There were thousands of inscriptions to stop the spiritual force from leaking.

"Pour them inside."

Tirus ordered the alchemical puppets and soon, all the centipedes were thrown inside the jar and the top was sealed.

A contemplative look appeared on Tirus's face.

This was his second experiment. After getting the bloodline and turning Beth into a warlock, he had pondered a little about this topic.

Generally, when a magical beast gave birth to its decendant, its progeny would usually be a magical beast from the start.

The process of an ordinary beast turning into a magical beast.

He really wanted to see the process for himself.

The method he was using was quite popular in the ancient societies of his previous world.

In this method, several poisonous insects would be sealed together in a pot without food. After a while these insects would start eating each other when they didn't have any other option, by the end of the process, there would only be 1 insect left. And that insect would've developed a special kind of poison of its own which had no antidote.

After a week,

Tirus returned to the chamber and opened up the jar after confirming that only one insect was left alive.

"Hello, big guy." Tirus couldn't help but he a little amazed at the size of this centipede.

In the begining, all the scorpions he had put inside this jar were only 15 cm long at most. However, now this one was over a menter long and 4 cm wide.

"Hm, the radiation you're emiting is sparse. Maybe even below the level of an acolyte...A.I. chip, scan!"

[Beep!]

[Scan complete]

[The centipede is evolving into a spirit insect. The species of this spirit insect is the flesh eater centipede]

[Bloodline shackles: Rank 1]

"A pity...really." This feeling of despondence only remained for a second.

"Well, I had kinda expected it." He let his radiation flow and kill the centipede. Turning around, he commanded the A.I. chip.

"A.I. chip, show me the progress of the Dark Bone Armor spell."

[Beep!]

[The completion of the spell has reached 73.24%]

"Hm." Tirus wanted to see if the spells of other element could be morphed into the spells of Dark element. It was nothing special, just a simple test.

The Bone element spells had shown shocking potential when Tirus tried to morph spells of other element into dark, and the easiest to morph was, the bone element.

When Beth had effortlessly merged the bone element into her dragon bloodline, Tirus wamted to find out if be could do the same or just something similar, and the result this time was quite positive.
