Chapter 30. A special subject of experiment

After a few days,

Tirus used the A.I. chip and the soul search technique to get the bone elemental meditation technique from Kask's soul.

The name of the technique was 'Bone giant manifestation'. The version which Kask had only consisted of 3 levels, but they were enought to let an ordinary human to cultivate till the peak of rank 2.

As for the ranks beyond that, Tirus had confidence that he could easily make the manuals for them later.

Actually, he was doing this research completely out of curiosity. So, if he discovered something else more worthwhile in the future, then he may just leave this.

"Okay, now, first I'll need a proper subject with good enough talent." Tirue mumbled while twirling his hair.

The 'subject' here was someone who would cultivate this technique and work for him for their entire lives.

So, the very first requirement would be for the subject to be a slave. It was not necessary for the subject to have high affinity, as it could be increased with time. The most important point was their talent grade.

The higher their talent, the lesser the time they would take to cultivate to a point where they could be useful to him.

However, findhing such slaves might prove to be troublesome.

Every intelligent living being had the talent required to become a magus in this world. It was just that the grades of talent varied.

Most human had grade 1 or grade 2 talent, such people may never be able to breakthrough the bottleneck to the become grade 3 acolytes in their entire lives.

And even if someone had grade 3 talent, even then, without getting their hands of some high grade meditation technique, precious potion or an inheritance, they'd require half of their lives to just become official magi.

'So, buying acolyte slaves is the best.' He thought.

An acolyte slave's price would be quite high, but that wasn't a problem for Tirus. The main issue was that the acolyte would already have cultivated some other technique of the earth element, so if the previously cultivated meditation technique had laid a foundation too different from the bone magic meditation techniques, they the subject may just go crazy or even die.

"Why am I even worrying about such a small issue? I can just have the A.I. chip modify it as required." Tirus let out a chuckle.

Researching about any matter tens of times easier with the help of the A.I. chip. This included the creation of meditation techniques as well.

....

A day later,

"Okay, send them to me." Tirus said to a magus's hologram infront of him.

"They will be delivered by tonight." The magus said and the holographic connection on both sides was cut off.

Tirus let out a sigh. This magus was the best slave trader who sold acolytes of the highest quality. If the slave shop Tirus went to first after coming to Longburg was one of top 100, then this magus's shop was in the top 10.

....

A few hours later,

A female who looked to be around 24 years of age, wearing ordinary robes with a chocker around her neck was standing infront of his mansion along with a man with a weird mustache.

Tirus himself went there to give the payment.

Both the girl and the magus with the mustache were under a concealment spell, and so, Tirus used an artifact to bypass the concealment.

....

In his laboratory, just after the payment.

"What is your name?" Tirus asked.

"No name, master." She replied in a monotone voice.

'Hm...She is radiating grade 1 acolyte cultivation, and it seems she had definetly cultivated an earth element meditation technique...good.' Tirus looked at this girl. She had blue eyes and blonde hair, quite common. However, her eyes were hazy and lifeless, most people wouldn't see anything in them, but Tirus saw an opportunity.

"Here." Tirus handed her a crystal ball and said, "Store your radiation and a little bit of your spiritual force in it, I'll modify my technique and then have you cultivate it."

"Understood, master."

"And also, if you can successfully cultivate, then I may bestow upon you a name."

Upon hearing this, the girl trembled slightly and her heartbeat got a little faster for a while.

"Yes, master." She, once again, replied and bowed down.

Tirus was noticing all these subtle changes. He had invested a lot of money in her since she had grade 5 talent, and because he wasn't planning on discarding her, at least not if such a situation arose. His current goal was to nourish her emotionally and mentally so that she could be a little more than just a mindless slave.

To be continued...
