CHAPTER 6: A NEW BEGINNING (2)

As Theo and Kiera were recovering their Elemental energy, the eight people behind them have finally caught up.

'Finally given up have you? Would have been better if you did it earlier, we all wouldn't have had to waste so much time on you both' one of the men said with contempt in his voice.

'Why, are you all scared? To think that eight Nihility experts would gang upon two Ascension Realm juniors, and they all do not even dare to at least show us their faces, we both would at least like to who you guys are' Theo says.

'Heh, nice try kid. Do you we all are hot-blooded newbies who would do whatever you say.'

'We all know that once our faces are revealed as soon as you both are saved you all would be like mad dogs after us for revenge.' One of them replied and the other seven remained silent as if approving this.

"Kiera stand back and protect our son well" Theo transmits his thoughts to Kiera using his Soul energy.

Theo steps forward from his position towards the other people.

One of the men from the eight also steps forward, 'I'll take care of him you all keep focusing on the woman, lest she uses any special artifact to escape again.'

'Old man Shi, looks like you really can't wait to catch the both of them, can you?' said another man from their group.

Theo is also focusing on what he said to get a clue as to who they are, but looks like they all are careful not to reveal their real names.

Knowing that delaying any longer would only give the eight people more time to prepare will be disadvantageous to him, Theo no longer stands still he walks forward.

Theo waves his left hand and a bunch of different type of talisman appear in hand.

He moves his left hand and throws all the talisman out from his grasp, all the talisman as if they are connected by some force scatter neatly forming a formation and disappear in the void.

Seeing this, the eight Nihility Realm experts also got serious and stopped joking around.

Old man Shi who went to deal with Theo also got serious and said 'Looks like the title of Thousand Talisman God isn't wasted on you, No one even knows that you have also mastered the spatial usage of talisman formation.

Theo moves his right hand and a black sword with neon edges appeared in his right hand.

'Not many have ever lived to spread the news of this sword, The Vanquisher.

It is made from the star core from an ancient mutated star, which was taken by one of my ancestors' introduced Theo.

While saying this he raises his left hand and uses his fire elemental energy to write an obscure Rune in the air (Fire Enhancement), he finishes it quickly drawing about 13 strokes.

As soon as he finishes the rune, it lights up in red and starts glowing brightly, seeing this Theo slashes the burning rune with his sword.

When his sword slashes the rune, magically the Rune breaks and gets imprinted on the edge of the sword and produces burning flames of blue color from the edges.

Theo takes another step forward and suddenly disappears from where he was and appears in front of Old man Shi and slashes his sword diagonally toward his neck.

Seeing this, behind the mask there was shock in the eyes of Old man Shi.

He hurriedly uses all of his energy to put up an energy barrier around his body.

When Theo's sword came into contact with the energy shield, there was a cracking sound and the barrier cracks open and to the horror of Old man Shi, he is thrown backward explosively, and creates deep crater like that of a meteor on the ground, stopping only after going on about half a mile (About 800 meters).

A ragged figure stood up in the crater; while all of his clothes are nearly torn, the mask covering his face is still intact and in pristine condition, it just goes on to show how much he fears the revenge from the Heavenly Dao Family.

Seeing that he could not even injure him deeply, Theo reveals a disappointed expression but accepts it nonetheless as his opponent is still a major realm above him, If not for his high grade sword and talismans, he knows he cannot deal much damage to Old man Shi.

Just as Old man Shi is recovering from the aftershocks from his previous attack, Theo again disappears from where he is and again appears in front of Old man Shi.

Gathering half of his energy into his right feet Theo strikes at Old man Shi's stomach.

Not at all expecting this Old man Shi, being unprepared, did not even have time to put up a barrier, and is sent flying in the air.

Theo surprisingly does not follow up with another attack and stands hovering in the air watching Old man Shi who is still going up, gradually stopping, and gaining some balance.

Two of the other seven experts had their gazes focused on Theo's movements ready to attack at any moment, Sensing their gazes Theo dare not move to attack, as it is not worth an injury just to injure Old man Shi.

Theo again raises his Left hand and clenches it and as if on cue 5 talisman appear from the void near Old man Shi and explode.

From two talismans, eight large tentacles made of earth element sprouted which restricted Old man Shi's movements by binding all of his hands and feet.

They even vaguely formed a sealing formation, which made it hard for Old man Shi to use his Elemental energy.

The other three talismans all exploded with intense explosions of Fire Elemental energy.

All of this happened in just three seconds and as the other seven people are distracted by the sudden explosion.

Theo seeing that he has a chance uses all of his energy, to quickly form another obscure Rune in air (Spatial banishment blade) and slashes his blade through the rune.

As the blade slashes through the new Rune, the space around the blade distorts as a sword aura is launched through the edges of the sword flying towards Old man Shi.

Wherever the sword aura passes through the space around it distorts and around the edges, there are blue flames burning through the void layers.

Just as he slashes out the sword aura, Theo again uses his energy to control the talismans in the void layer and another ten appear.

Five each, gathered around the two Nihility Realm lords who were paying attention to Theo's movements earlier.

As the five talismans exploded, the two Lords are also restricted for some time and could only see as the spatial blade approached Old man Shi.

Seeing the sword slash approaching and feeling the aura emitted by it, Old man Shi Could feel death approaching him.

'If anything happens to me remember that you all will also have to have the Shi family' Old man Shi shouts on top of his lungs.

Listening to this, though the other five still wanted to see the show they could not sit still.

All five of them took action at the same time, setting a sealing formation near Kiera quickly so that she could not escape.

They all formed their attacks and thrust them all towards the spatial sword aura.

Different type of energies collided into the sword aura, while the five were not attacking seriously.

They all still used about half of their full power but the spatial sword aura still did not shatter after colliding with their attacks, all five were shocked and didn't even have time to use another attack as they watched the blade slashing straight into Old man Shi.

The seven, are all terrified by this sword attack, because among the eight present here they all know each another, and how powerful they are.

No one among the other seven is confident to take that sword slash and come out unscathed.

While they all are worried about Old man Shi and know that he is probably alive.

Old man Shi is thinking about his life choices right now 'Why did I even stand out to deal with this monster, could I not have just send someone else?'

Although not fatal, the spatial energy is still seeping deep into his wounds and he would need to spend a decade to recover from this, 'Thinking of this Old man Shi didn't even have tears to cry, he only had himself to blame.'

As the other two Lords also break free from the restraint of the talisman, they fly quickly towards the other five to regroup.

While the seven are now looking cautiously, constantly scanning their surrounding for any other talismans that might pop out from the void.

Theo's current situation is also not very great.

He is fully exhausted and his Elemental core is empty, he used all of his Elemental energy in his last attack, hoping to find a breakpoint.

He is currently like a paper tiger.
