A well-maintained and ironed black shirt, green tie, belt, grey pants, a double gun holster and a white overcoat were kept neatly on the mattress.
On a desk near the bed, 3 boxes large and 1 small one and a phone were kept.
The sound of water falling in the bathroom echoed and steam passed through the half-closed door.
Through the steam, you can see the back of a young man with black hair. He closed the tap, stepped out of the shower went near the mirror.
He wiped the fog on the mirror and what faced him was a reflection of a man with green eyes and black hair. He thought to himself 'Today is the day, let's go in style'. He smiled.
He walked into his room and started to put on his clothes. He put on his shirt pants and tie. Then he strapped his shoulder-concealed double gun holster
He went to his desk and unlocked the first large box. It contained a SIG Sauer P226. He opened the second box and it contained a S&W 5946. He put both guns in his holster and opened the third box. It contained a badge with inscriptions
He took it out of the box and ran his finger over it. "City of New York Police, Detective 8356". He mumbled and put it around his neck.
"Charlie! You finished?" his father yelled from downstairs "Yeah, I'm coming" he replied. He opened the drawer on his desk and fetched his watch, specifically a Rolex GMT-master II and put it on his wrist. Lastly, he looked at himself in the mirror ' I'm ready'
He went downstairs, walked to the dining table and started to eat his breakfast. His father sitting at the same table looked at him "Charlie, why did you become a cop? And now your a what?". "Detective".Charlie interjected. "Yeah yeah, detective, answer the question, by the age of 18 you already made a well-stable life for yourself and now you're 24 and a millionaire. Why do you want to put your life in danger by chasing after murders and junkies"
"Dad I thought we were over this. I already decided and besides we are rich and getting richer, instead of starting a business and worrying about profits and losses we can just relax and do the things we love, like you running your tailor shop and me solving crimes and taking down bad guys" Charlie answered
His father sighed. "Well, good luck on your first day". "Thanks Dad" Charlie replied. He finished his breakfast, walked to the garage and lifted the sheet covering the car off of it. A blue BMW 3 series. He started his car and started to drive towards his precinct.

My name is Charles Harrison. I was born in 1988, well in this life. Let me clarify, I'm a reincarnator who died at the age of 18. When I died I had a lot of regrets and when I got a chance to correct them all I took it. The downside I couldn't go back to my world and live with my parents 'previous parents'.

I used my knowledge of the past to meddle in stocks and investments of rising companies like Google, Amazon, when I was 15 as dad trusted me with an account and gave me some pocket money. I also started to Bitcoin as soon it was started in 2009 and I'm still buying.
Now being rich I wanted to do something thrilling and detective work appealed to me. And now here I am with a little system to help me with detective work. As a starter pack I got an IQ of 400 so learning stuff became easier. Now 1 mission is going to end and the reward for that is
