52 Chapter 52: The Snow finally Stopped...

As Chito fell from the stone platform, she felt herself falling into a warm liquid. She opened her eyes and looked around, "Is this water?"

Suddenly, a colossal fish emerged from the water, lifting Chito with it. As she broke the surface, she realized she was encircled by boundless water. "Is this what they call the sea?"

"Yeah," Senju affirmed, surrounded by a school of fish gliding around him. "This is the sea."

""That fish... the one from before..." Chito's voice trailed off as she beheld the large white fish beneath her.

"No, not that one," Yuuri's voice chimed in from beside her, and just then, a massive fish Yuuri leapt out of the water.

There was also a bone fish next to it, and Senju next to it also turned into a school of fish, swimming in the sea.

"Senju? Yuu?!"

"Yes" Fish Yuuri spoke, and Chito was amazed, "Whoa... Yuu you're so huge!"

"By the way, the fish we had earlier is here," Yuuri announced as a bony fish swam alongside her.

Chito was momentarily speechless. "So it was the one we ate."

"The fish is just so delectable," Fish Yuuri drooled while pursuing the transformed Senju-fish, then shifted her gaze to Chito, drooling again. "Chii-chan looks pretty tasty too."

"You're a fish as well!" Chito protested, observing Yuuri's drooling state. "You've lost all sense of reason, all of it!"

"Because I am Fish!" Yuuri opened her mouth, and the surrounding water and fish flowed into it.

"Don't do this!" Chito screamed, and then saw a big mouth opening in front of her, "I'm going to be eaten-"

"Ha," then she woke up suddenly and realized that everything just now was just a dream.

Just when she was a little unhappy, Yuuri next to her also said something in her sleep, "Meow meow, I can't eat anymore. "

"Nu, I'll give you a stone!" Chito picked up a stone and stuffed it into Yuuri's mouth.

Upon hearing a commotion behind him, Senju approached to investigate. "Chito, are you awake? What's happening with Yuuri?"

"It's nothing. She just nibbled on the table," Chito replied, extracting a pebble from Yuuri's mouth and discarding it.

A slight blush colored Chito's cheeks as her stomach emitted a noticeable rumble.

"Hahaha, seems like you're hungry. Here, have some food," Senju chuckled and offered, presenting her with a piece of bread and a cup of water.

After Senju handed her the bread and water, Chito remained lost in thought, appearing somewhat nostalgic.

Sensing something amiss, Senju inquired, "Chii-chan, what's on your mind? Were you dreaming about something?"

"Well, I saw a lot of magical scenes in one go." She sighed before eating the bread.

"Hmm~ this bread is so delicious! I wish I could eat it more often in the future..."

"Making bread takes time, but the fish is plentiful," Senju remarked with a sigh. "Once we settle in a stable location, we can have bread whenever we want."

(T/L: Time consuming my *ss, the 'time-consuming' thing I can think of is the time your wheat takes to grow...)

Chito appeared perplexed. "Indeed, with a stable place to live, why do we keep on traveling? Can't we just rely on Senju and live a comfortable life?"

"It's true, but this place will collapse sooner or later. Don't you want to see more places?"

"Yes, my original goal was just to find a stable place to live, but now I want to know more about what is at the highest place. Are there many people living happily up there?"

Chito fell silent for a moment, then turned to Senju. "What is your wish, Senju? Is it truly alright for you to keep traveling with us without a break?"

Chuckling softly, Senju replied, "Well, as they say, the more you know, the more you have to worry about. If I were to live alone in this world, I'd go crazy sooner or later. That's why I want to journey with the two of you and explore new places."

"Really? I'll be sure to offer you some guidance along the way." As Chito took a bite of the bread, she couldn't help but blush. Senju's laughter carried a tender note as he added, "Likewise, please take care of me too. Traveling will be much more enjoyable with the two of you."

"Ahh!" Yuuri's voice came from behind.

She was angry when she saw the two of them eating, "Chii-chan, Senju, why didn't you wake me up when you are eating? I want to eat too."

Chito gave Yuuri a sidelong glance. "Because while you were asleep, you were muttering that you couldn't eat another bite."

Yuuri pouted beside her, puzzled. "That's not true. I could've eaten more. It's strange. There's this odd taste in my mouth."

Senju glanced at Chito, then handed the water bottle to Yuuri. "Here, drink some water first, Yuuri, and then you can eat."

"Hai~" After Yuuri took the kettle and rinsed her mouth, Senju gave her a piece of bread, and the three of them sat there and started eating.

After eating, the three of them rested for a while, then got in the car and continued their journey.

A few days later, the three of them left the ruins and came to a dense mass of steel pillars.

These pillars seemed to have been initially intended for constructing houses, but now they stand as the only remnants in this place.

Senju lost interest after deconstructing them for materials/blocks. Chito and Yuuri were also not interested in this dense steel forest and just wanted to leave here as soon as possible.

Fortunately, the pillars in the City were distributed very regularly. All the three of them need to do is follow one path.

When the three were driving, Senju, who was lying behind the car, suddenly felt something falling from it, but it was immediately bounced away by an invisible force.

But she came to her senses after a while, "Is this the time to cause trouble? Senju should quickly build a shelter from the rain now."

"Well, there is a place to take shelter in front of you," Senju pointed to the side.

There was a strange building there with some space underneath to take shelter from the rain.

Chito drove the car under the building.

The space inside was large, enough to hold several cars.

Nevertheless, the building resembled a ruin with scattered rags strewn about, yet it appeared spacious enough for three people to seek shelter from the rain.

After getting out of the car, Senju touched his coat and said, "It's great, it's not wet yet."

"Chii-chan didn't touch the rain at all, mine was soaked." Yuuri next to her took off her coat, "I found a good stick."

Then she hung her coat on it, and the two people next to her were speechless for a while.

Who could have imagined you were so thrilled, standing there in the rain.

After removing their backpacks, the three of them draped an additional layer of canvas over the car and settled on the steel platform to tend to their respective tasks...

Yeah sorry for not uploading for what was it? 2 days? Yeah been busy again, preparing for November and such, and unfortunately in Nov. 3-4 there's my Quarterly exam (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠).

So by them I wouldn't have time to translate so yeah just a heads up!

Though, about the extra 5 chapters, I'll start them by tomorrow. Got another event right now...
