Sleeping Naked

"I...um hi I'm Ari" Ari said taken aback by the tall, muscular dark haired, mysterious tattooed woman standing before her.

"You look kinda young, how old are you?" Kate asked looking Ari in the eye.

Unable to maintain eye contact as she looked into Kate's light hazel eyes Ari up as she answered.

"Oh I'm 20, guess it's the ice cream pajamas" Ari said looking down at her fluffy purple pajama pants.

"Yeah that definitely doesn't help your case, that and you not even looking me in the eye" Kate said as she took a step closer to Ari.

"Um yeah you're really hot so I'm deeply uncomposed right now" Ari said as she shrugged and took a step back.

"Hey" Kate said as she walked up to Ari and grabbed Ari by the chin and held her in place.

With their faces a few centimeters away from each other Ari was awestruck by Kate's unconventional beauty.

Her deep smoldering gaze along with perfect skin decorated with several black tattoos made Ari's knees weak.

"Look at me" Kate said in a whispered tone as she looked a flustered Ari in the eyes.

"Okay, how old are you sweetie?" Kate asked with a smirk on her face.

"I'm 20" Ari instantly replied as her heart thundered in her chest.

Taking a second to look at a visibly swooning Ari leaning forward Kate's smirk softened into a warm smile.

"Okay cutie" Kate replied, kissing Ari on the forehead before letting go of her face.

Watching Ari stood still and visibly shocked Kate smirked, shook her head and walked away.

Shaking her head Ari watched as Kate strode away.

"Man that was hard to watch" Buttons said as Ari jumped at the sound of his voice.

"Shit! Wait hang on a second you were watching that?!" Ari shouted unceremoniously before burying her head in her hands.

"How bad was it..." she asked through her muffled face.

"Pretry bad, you might as well have started drooling on her" Buttons replied.

"Kill me now" Ari said as waves of embarrassment washed over her in the drizzling rain.

"Oh hang on" Ari said holding her hand out as the rain hit her hand.

"Hey make yourself seven foot and make your hands massive and flat" Ari said looking over at Buttons.

"A please would have been nice" Buttons said as he enlarged himself exponentially and flattened his paws out to the shape of large pans.

"Please follow me and hold your paws as if they're umbrellas for me and her please" Ari said with a soft smile.

She walked off to follow Kate as Buttons dutifully followed shielding the rain away from her with his paws.

"Hey Kate wait up!" Ari calmly exclaimed as her and Buttons caught up to Kate casually walking in the rain.

"Oh" Kate said turning to see Ari walking up to her as Buttons put his arm out shielding her from the rain.

"The bear with you?" Kate asked nodding towards Buttons.

"Yeah he's my guide or whatever you call it...hey where's yours?" Ari asked looking around.

"Oh, well" Kate said as she pointed up to the sky.

Stepping our from underneath Buttons paw Ari looked to the sky shielding her eyes of the rain.

"You mean the bird?" she said pointing out a dark silhouette of a large bird.

"Yeah that's my guide Cobain" Kate replied.

"Like the- shit!" Ari shouted as the bird did a nosedive directly towards her.

"I... uh..." Ari said as the bird landed and stood on her head.

"What level are you at? Your reaction time wasn't great" Kate said.

"Level two and I had a reaction but it was to slap your bird and I thought better of it" Ari said as she trembled at the claws balanced on her scalp.

"Alright Cobain get off" Kate said looking at the crow.

The crow lept off of Ari's head and flew off into the sky.

"Sorry about that he's an old man in crow years but I guess all eight year olds are still just eight" Kate said with a shrug.

"No it's totally fine" Ari replied brushing a black feather off her shoulder.

"So he an actual crow irl or what?" Ari asked as she got underneath Buttons paw.

"Oh he was my pet crow when I was a kid, he died a couple years back" Kate said monotonously.

"Oh I'm-"

"Don't say you're sorry for my loss" Kate said with a groan.

"Oh I was... definitely gonna say that my bad. What's his power anyway?" Ari asked.

"Oh well look behind you" Kate said nodding her head to the feather Ari shook off herself.

Looking back Ari watched it explode in a puff of black smoke and a crow identical to Cobain hop out and fly off.

"Oh shit that's cool!" Ari shouted as she looked over at Kate who just smirked.

"Sorry that was lame" Ari said looking away instantly.

"No it's totally fine" Kate asked looking over at Ari's bright outfit.

"What..." Ari said feeling self conscious at the seeing Kate look at her intently.

"What's with the outfit? You sleep in that every night?" Kate asked.

"Well no but my last mission was in a freezer so I'm just rocking up dressed" Ari replied as she looked ahead.

"Oh yeah I remember still figuring myself out in here. First mission was really awkward" Kate said as she began chuckling.

"Oh, what happened?" Ari asked passively.

"Oh well I used to sleep naked so the first night I took the pill they give you I was butt naked in a field" Kate said with a smile.

Looking over at Kate's tight black figure hugging gym wear that failed to obscure her large thighs and bulging biceps Ari's face went red.

"Oh Cobain found him. Looks like he's in there" Kate said pointing at the murder of crows circling an area up ahead before stopping dead in her tracks and leaning in towards Ari.

"Oh and yes I told you that so you'd picture me naked" she whispered to Ari.

"Um... I don't think crows don't usually circle areas that aren't bad news so I think we should hurry up" Ari said as she ran off in the direction of the crows.
