Prking his bike in his parking spot, Haneul climbed the stairs to his apartment. As he opened the door using his key, he saw that his mother was in distress and his father was trying to calm her down.

"Mom, what happened?" Haneul asked her as he ran towards her.

"Oh my baby, you are alright! I thought you got trapped inside that vortex." His mother started to rant.

Sighing he said "I was near there. I saw the military setting up barricades to prevent any kind of disasters. But, I'm safe, so don't worry."

Even after saying that his mother didn't calm down and started to rant again "Kanaes parents got trapped in the vortex.... "

"What?" He asked for clarification.

"A vortex formed near their home, and both of them was swallowed up by it." His father said.

"Dad, when will our visa expire again?" He asked him.

"You're not going there." His mother instantly rejected his plan, without even hearing it from him.

Shaking his head, he said "Mom, Kanae is alone there. Aunt's family doesn't like her because uncle is Korean. She needs me."

"You don't have to worry. She's part Korean and she can come here anytime as this is one of her nationalities. And with the help of some of my associates over there, I have arranged her to arrive here by tomorrow. You have to pick her from the airport." His father explained to him. Nodding his head, Haneul said "That's good. But, I'll be going there in two day's."

"And why is that?" His father asked him.

"Maybe I can find them." He said with some uncertainty.

"And how do you plan to do that?" His mother asked as she understood that her son is a stubborn one.

"With this." Saying so, he made a short sword out of light and swung around.

Seeing that, his parents eye's went wide, and his mother raised her hand and the chairs inside the room started to float. His father seeing that said "Your mother has been able to move objects with her mind and I have seen increase in strength. Do you know anything about this son?"

"All I know is that it's related to the portals or gates that have formed around the world." Haneul said.

"Will the government start experimenting on us?" His mother asked with a bit of trepidation.

"That won't happen. You don't have to worry about it. I promise." Haneul promised them, and he swore to himself to protect his parents. "Now I need to shower and get changed."

As soon as he got inside his room, he called Kanae, within seconds, the call connected and her voice was heard "Haneul!! *sob* My mom and dad are gone... *sob* What should I do?"

"Don't worry, you are coming here tomorrow right? I'll pick you up at the airport." Haneul tried to make her at ease.

"I know.... But, my parents... What should I do?" Kanae asked him.

"You don't have to worry, I'll find a way to get uncle and aunt back. I promise." Haneul proised her, which made her at ease, and she didn't ask how he was going to that as she was in distress over the disappearance of her parents. After making sure that she was safe over there he disconnected the call.

Messing up his hair, Haneul said to himself "I want the Rulers to make their vessels powerful through a system similar to mine and Shadow Monarch's. Making the National Rank hunters more powerful will allow us to defend against the invading Outer Gods. And if second generation hunters start to appear, they will be more powerful than us. Not at the same level as the Moarchs and Rulers, so it will be alright I guess. The best person to contact will be Chairman. I have to see him today itself."

After showering and changing his clothes, he ate dinner with his parents in silence. After eating their fill, he spoke "I called her. She's still in distress, so let's try to bring her stress down to some level."

"Alright son, you don't have to worry about that. She's like a daughter to us, I'll watch over her." His mother reassured him. In reply, Haneul just smiled.

During one in the morning, Haneul opened his window and jumped down from his floor to the ground while using stealth. Taking his motorcycle, he pushed it out of the area while avoiding the eyes of security and cameras by bending the light particles.

Looking up the home address of Chairman in his phone, he traveled there on his motorcycle. On the way he though to himself 'How should I introduce myself to him? He is the vessel of the Brightest Fragment Of The Brilliant Light. Wait a minute. Did the Rulers grand the powers to the strongest Hunter on earth? If my guess is right then, the Chairman will be the first S Rank Hunter in Korea, and if the Rulers selected him before his awakening, that would be good for me.'

{You have arrived at your destination.}

He heard the navigation support on his phone. Going further along the road, and parking his bike in a dark alley, Haneul started his operation. First thing he did was to check the area for any people using his Elemental Sight, confirming that there are no one present, he covered himself in an illusion that makes him look like a Ruler in a silver armor with golden edges and six white wings. Right after that, he activated stealth and snuck into the house, and went straight to the office where the Chairman was working.

After making sure that he was alone with the Chairman, he spoke without undoing his stealth "Mr. Go Gun Hee."

That surprise the sixty year old man, even when he looked at the source he couldn't find the person who called his name, rubbing his temples he muttered to himself "Now I am hearing things."

Smiling at Gun Hee, Haneul slowly undid his stealth, and seeing a six winged angel in front of him made his eyes go wide. But that reaction ceased immediately and his eyes turned golden and his aura also changed suddenly. Looking at Haneul, Gun Hee asked "Who are you?"

Looking into the golden eyes, Haneul asked "Am I talking to Mr. Go Gun Hee or the Brightest Fragment Of The Brilliant Light?"

"How do you know that name?" Go Gun Hee asked.

"Because I am the Remnant Fragment Of The Brilliant Light. And I have proposal for the Rulers as the youngest." Haneul introduced himself and asked "Shall we talk then Ruler to Ruler?"
