19 A Sinister Encounter

Daburanda, engrossed in his conversation with the mysterious human figure, boasted about the smooth progress of their plans and assured the figure that the promised items would be delivered soon. However, the figure spoke in a raspy voice devoid of gender, alerting Daburanda to a critical development. The figure revealed that rats had infiltrated the kingdom, displaying a holographic image that revealed the identities of the infiltrators: Peko, the prince of Puplantis, and his loyal bodyguard, Burusasu along with 4 humans and a cat.

Daburanda's eyes widened in shock as he recognized the faces of the two individuals he believed were eliminated. He stammered, "But Burusasu was imprisoned, and Peko was thrown into the river. How did they survive?"

With a cold, calculating tone, the mysterious figure replied, "Somehow, they managed to escape your clutches. No matter, though. I will personally take care of them myself."

Daburanda's confidence wavered as he realized the gravity of the situation. He hastily suggested sending his army to hunt them down, but the figure dismissed the idea, asserting that it would be unnecessary. The figure proclaimed that Daburanda would not be able to catch Peko and Burusasu, as the figure would handle them personally.

Meanwhile, Doraemon and the others stealthily made their way toward the sacred statue of Baowanko, relying on the invisibility cloak to conceal their presence. However, their invisibility suddenly ceased to function, leaving them exposed. Doraemon quickly retrieved the invisibility cap as an alternative, but to their dismay, it too failed to work. Each gadget Doraemon brought forth seemed to malfunction in the presence of an unknown barrier.

Nobita, ever observant, noticed that one of the discarded gadgets Doraemon had thrown aside appeared to be functioning properly. However, as soon as he brought it near the others, it too succumbed to the effects of the barrier. After several attempts and experiments, Nobita deduced that a powerful barrier was interfering with Doraemon's gadgets, rendering them ineffective.

Just as this revelation settled in, the sound of slow clapping echoed through the air. The group turned their attention toward the source of the sound, their eyes widening as they beheld a figure cloaked in darkness, levitating in the sky. The figure emanated an aura of malevolence and power, a formidable presence that sent chills down their spines.

With a chilling smile, the figure spoke, their voice dripping with wickedness. "Well, well, well. It seems we have some unwelcome guests. How delightful. I've been waiting for you."

Doraemon, Nobita, and the others stood frozen, their hearts pounding with a mixture of fear and determination. They realized that their quest to save Puplantis and thwart Daburanda's plans had taken a perilous turn, with an enigmatic and powerful enemy now standing in their way.

The stage was set for an intense confrontation, where the fate of Puplantis and the safety of their friends hung in the balance. The battle against the evil organization that tampered with time and space had reached a critical juncture, and Doraemon and his companions would need all their courage and ingenuity to overcome the imminent threats that awaited them.

A/N :- Hello my dear readers !! I hope you all are doing good. Well I know I haven't uploaded any chapter in past week. Well there is a reason for that. Remember I said in my previous chapters that I had an exam on 4th June. Well it's result came on 18th. And I qualified it !! So basically I completely forgot to write next chapter 😑. Yeah I know it might sound dumb but this is it. Well you can't blame me as I dreamed of qualifying this exam. It is 2nd most toughest exam in the world.

Also the results of Ship Poll came and Riruru won. So it will be Nobita x Riruru for now. Though there will be a poll in future because many people commented for both Riruru and Miyako and said that 2 doesn't count as harem. But that's for the future.
