---------------Hiel----------------

I was able to figure out a way to hide my wings. Which was great because everyone's stares in the temple were beginning to annoy me. I was mostly annoyed with the fact that I was being summoned to the meeting with the clergy. I was a guardian Angel now and my top priority should be the protection of our Goddess. However attending this meeting also meant that I could nip any mal intentions towards my Goddess in the butt immediately. Even though she was definitely our Goddess of Gia she seemed like a normal girl. In spite of Cypress's method to disprove her as a Goddess I couldn't help but wonder why she was able to bleed. A goddess should not be able to bleed nor should she fear her own creations since she should be able to simply command them to her will. However this girl did not seem to be able to do any of those things. Even so. I was able to turn into an Angel so that should be proof enough. Besides I knew who she was the moment our eyes met. there is no doubt in my mind. Cypress and a few of the clergy however may not be so easily convinced. Especially Cypress. He was a High priest who did not believe in our Goddess. Yet he was still gifted with extremely powerful holy power. The only conclusion I could draw up was that our Goddess decided to become a living goddess. In short she decided to come back as a human.

-----------------Cypress---------------------

I don't know how that woman managed to do it but she couldn't be our Goddess. No God should be able to bleed. Yet she obviously did. She had to be a fake. Hiel turning into an Angel could have been caused by her holy power. Although rare it was well known that priestesses who possessed holy powers would be ten times more powerful than a male priest. However it was rare for weman to have Holy power. In history there have only been four. The first being female Holy knight Tashia. Who became saintess of all knights. The twins Vica and Civica who became the saintesses of Night and day and lastly Melfina the saintess of kindness and love. I was not about to except this strange girl as a Goddess the way the old fool of a Pope did last time with Luisa. The witch who fooled half of the continent into believing she was the Goddess. Hiel and I had to work along side that annoying Prince Bale in order to bring her down. It looks like I might not be able to convince Hiel this time around.

I made my way to the meeting room. As I opened the door I walked into the room full of clergy men speaking in hushed voices. Some wondering if she was the real Goddess this time or just another fake. Others seemed over joyed that the Goddess had finally returned to our world after centuries of being absent.

I scoffed. What kind of God creates a world only to abandon it then return centuries later? Hiel walked into the room and everyone quieted. All eyes were on him as he casually took his seat at the table. Although he had become a guardian Angel he looked no different than he did before. The only difference was the fact that he could display wings on his back at will. There was a tremendous increase in his holy power as well that I could sense but besides that nothing really changed. The Pope finally entered the room and took his seat at the head of the table.

He cleared his throat loudly.

"At 12:22 A.M. today I was informed about the torches being lit by the Goddess's blue flame. I was also informed about the appearance of a young woman in the goddess's Baptism pool. As I rushed to where this woman was I saw our fellow clergy man Hiel Thorn turned into a guardian Angel as he held on to the woman." The room erupted in chatter at the mention of Hiel's transformation.

Hiel rose from his seat. "It is true I am currently the Goddess's Guardian Angel." After announcing his new position he revealed his wings of light to the rest of the clergy in the room. Gasps and sounds of elation could be heard all about the room. With the exception of my very own deliberately loud scoff.

"That girl is just a girl made of flesh and blood just like the rest of us." I said loudly over the others chatter. All eyes were on me.

"I cut her skin and she bleed. She is just a girl." I waved my hand dismissively as I sunk back into my chair. What I just revealed should bring the others back to their senses. The room fell silent once again untill a bishop asked Hiel a question.

"Is she a priestess? Not a Goddess but a priestess instead?" He aimed his question at Hiel who's wings were still fluttering.

"No." Hiel answered. "She is our Goddess of Gia. She's just a living Goddess currently." He answered between his teeth evidently upset by everyone else's doubt about her.

"A living Goddess? So that means... She's currently human?" the bishop asked.

"Yes." Hiel answered curtly. "I must be going the Goddess needs my protection now more than ever." He said as his glare cut right into me. Then without another word he stormed out.

"This should be fun."I thought to myself.
