"Uh!" I held my head as I woke up.

My head is burning with pain and I groan so hard.

The pain is indescribable.

The alarm went off spontaneously while I was still holding my own head.

The pain subsided within 10 minutes as the alarm resumed.

I started looking for my cellphone.

I picked up my cellphone at the top of the drawer and turned off the alarm but I was stunned and looked around.

"Wait! This isn't my room. My drawer is supposed to be small, there's no mirror in my room and I don't have a bedsheet of this color. The room layout is completely different." I pointed out the differences of this room to what I previously had.

"Argh!" I shout as my head starts to ache again. My memories are starting to come back.

It took another 10 minutes before my head calmed down.

"Yeah, I was obviously shot in the head that time so why am I still alive right now?" I ask but no one answered. My memory may be a little bit vague but I am 100% sure I was shot in the head in my past life.

I massage my temples as I suddenly thought of those reincarnation books. You'll be reincarnated and you get a system.

"Right! System!" I got excited as I shout.

I waited a few minutes but nothing happened.

"Huh? Hey system system system." I keep talking but nothing happens.

I felt so embarrassed because of that but a mechanical voice suddenly rang in my brain.

*Ding!*

*System activating*

"Gacha System activated!*

I smile as I look at the interface that has similar design to a UI in front of me.

"Every 500 kills or quest completion is guaranteed with a gacha spin ticket." I read it aloud as I looked at the 4 sections in the interface.

Quest, Gacha, Inventory and Personal Status.

I click the quest and saw the contents.

- Kill 100,000,000 living or the undead

- Kill 10,000,000 living or the undead

- Kill 1,000,000 living or the undead

- Kill 100,000 living or the undead

etc...

'Undead?' I thought as this word made chills run up and down my spine.

"Then I live in a world where there are many undead hmm... Highschool of the dead?" I browse my memories to find anime with the undead genre.

Rewards: 5 normal gacha spin ticket, 1 Premium gacha spin ticket and medium sized canteen with unlimited water.

"Woah!" I was amazed at the rewards but most of all this world is the world where zombies are rampant. I need to be strong so I don't die early.

I look at the Interface as I click the gacha window.

There are two types of spin: Normal and premium.

You can get normal skills and items in normal spin while you can get special and powerful items and skills in premium spin.

I smiled as I used the ticket for the premium spins.

*whirr*

The spinning wheel rolled as it sounded.

It stops at the skill Adaptation.

Adaptation - You can adapt to everything, conflicting powers, mutations, environments, bloodlines and even concepts.

"O.P. Maybe we're lucky now, let's use the 5 tickets." I smiled as I used the 5 tickets in the normal round.

*whirr*

Fried chicken - a cooked chicken

Cola - x2 - cold carbonated soft drink.

Normal sword - x2 - A normal metal sword.

My smile went off as I saw the items.

"No skills even if it's normal?" My lips twitch as I sighed.

"Let's not be greedy. I'm lucky enough to have this gacha system." I talk to myself as click on the inventory and found the military style water canteen.

I bring it out, opened the cap and look inside.

"There's nothing magical inside this canteen. Let's try that." I raised doubts but I first tried to drink it for 30 seconds but it was still full of water inside.

I walk outside my bedroom as I arrive at the kitchen sink.

"This is weird. Where did the unlimited water supply come from?" I spoke as I pour and watch the water from the canteen flowing incessantly to the sink.

"Let's not think about it now. I'm lucky enough to have this unlimited water supply for daily uses." I smile as I closed the canteen and put it inside my inventory.

I got amazed at this system as it has many different functions. It has inventory that is really useful for me. I can put anything inside it. The gacha spins could help me get powers overtime and I can also take a look at my personal status. There's also numbers at the top corner that indicates the time.

"Oh, it's 8:40 am, Wait! I'm late." I cried when I saw the time. School starts at 8:45 and I need to shower, dress and eat so I'm really late.

"I'll shower first!" I ran to the bathroom while I took a quick shower. I cooked while I put on the uniform. My movements are fast and I am used to it. Maybe it's because I was an orphan in my previous life that I did such things myself.

I cooked the egg as I placed it in the middle of the two loaves. I bit it as I grabbed my bag and closed the door.

I looked at the streets and even though this was the first time I saw it, I didn't get lost. I was walking down the street as I looked up at the sky and thought 'It's so peaceful today'.

No one was shouting in the neighborhood, the dogs were not barking and the noise of the cars was not very loud. I ran and got to school.

The gates are closed.

"Shit! I'll just climb it." I cursed as I climb the gates.

My body was a bit muscular so I didn't feel tired as I climbed the gate.

"Hah!" I jumped down the gate as I entered inside the school.

"There's no guard here? What a petty school." I looked around but saw nothing.

"Gurrrr!" Looking at the gate I saw a man wearing a black suit and red tie like those working in the business trying to get in. His movements and a series of crashes at the gate got the attention of the teachers.

"Where did you came from?" I looked at him and raised an eyebrow at him. I didn't even see him outside so how could he got here so fast.

Then I remember the first scene in the anime.

"Damn, why now? You won't even give me time to prepare." I whispered as I looked up at the sky.

The apocalypse is just starting.
