The two elders were escorted out by Tsunade's ANBU to be questioned. Being a subordinate of Danzo, Sai was taken for questioning as well.

Naruto had a look of shock on his face as did Sakura and Yamato upon hearing Tsunade's words.

"I don't…understand. What do you mean?" Naruto asked in utter shock as he stared at Kaito.

Tsunade, who stood by the side, sighed a bit. "It's just as I said. This is Kaito, your brother."

She had just finished explaining the events that had transpired within the past hours. Needless to say, the boy was in shock.

"So you're Naruto…" Kaito muttered, not really knowing what else to say. Knowing he was Naruto's brother didn't entail immediate closeness.

"Y-yes…"

Out of politeness, Sakura and Yamato stayed silent behind Naruto.

"I know that this is a big deal for you bot-" Jiraiya started but was interrupted by Naruto's muttering.

"I…I had a family…an actual one…" He began, his voice shaking. "And he…took it away."

Resisting the urge to sigh, Kaito opened his skills tab to distract himself from the emotional drama. He wanted to see the description of his latest skill.

[Lightning Style: Purple Lightning][Lvl 1/15]

The user unleashes a stream of purple electricity from their hand to attack targets from a short-to-mid range. Like its predecessor, it can be used by concentrating lightning in his hand and attacking quickly with it.

The one thing he noted was the lack of hand seals just like the Rasengan. It was a jutsu that Kakashi had created after losing Obito's sharingan.

It lacked the weakness of the Chidori and was just as flexible if not more flexible. He idly wondered what his actual chakra nature was.

He'd be bummed if it was Earth nature. In his opinion, he could make do with any other nature other than that.

'Though…if I get wind, I might have to ask Kakashi for tips on how to create an original jutsu. I don't remember seeing many wind nature techniques.'

He was brought out of his thoughts by a spike of malicious chakra, causing his attention to snap to Naruto. [Mind's Eye of the Kagura] was always passively active, actively using it only spread its range further.

It was very brief but Tsunade and Jiraiya noticed the spike, tensing before relaxing as it disappeared.

"Granny Tsunade, where's Danzo?" As he asked, Kaito could see the boy's knuckles turning white from how hard he clenched his fist.

"He's been arrested and awaiting questioning. We still don't know all the things he's been doing in secret so killing him is not an option. Not yet at least." She answered, clicking her tongue in slight irritation.

"Naruto, I understand that you're angry but you also have a new responsibility on your hands." Jiraiya said in a serious tone, stepping forward.

"Responsibility?"

"Yes. Since he's been with Danzo since his awakening, he'll need to get properly acclimated to the village."The white haired man got closer to Naruto, whispering in a way that was still heard by everyone. "Who knows, he may like ramen. Or perhaps he'll want to join me to pe-…I mean to do some research."

"Shut up, pervy sage! You just want an excuse to go peeping!" He shouted to the man who smiled.

"It's called research." Jiraiya defended.

"Shut up!"

"It's research. How else do you think I can write such amazing quality books? You wouldn't understand." A perverted grin emerged on the man's face.

Tsunade could only shake her head at the exchange, noticing what Jiraiya was doing. "Sakura, Naruto, why don't you two take him to see the village."

-[Later]-

The 'tour' was mostly silent at first with neither of them knowing what to say. He could see that Naruto wanted to speak but didn't know what to say.

Though it was awkward, he had to be the one to initiate the conversation. It didn't take time for Naruto to start asking questions. Questions that he tried to answer only for it to lead to this moment.

"What do you mean you don't like ramen?!" Naruto screamed in shock.

"I only said I don't know what it tastes like." Kaito corrected but the other boy's stance didn't change.

"That's the same thing!"

"Naruto, not everyone breathes in Ramen like you." Sakura said with a deadpan expression before it turned curious. "Kaito, lady Tsunade said you escaped from Danzo. How did you do it?"

"That's a bit complicated." He said before noticing that their attention wasn't leaving him. "He made the mistake of giving me a jutsu to learn. A forbidden jutsu that allows me to move really fast." He said, downplaying the technique.

"A forbidden jutsu? I think my Shadow Clone jutsu is a forbidden jutsu. I think that's what Kakashi-sensei said." Naruto muttered as they got to their destination.

'You've got to be kidding me.' Kaito thought as he looked at where the blond had led them to.

They were in front of a stall that read 'Ichiraku Ramen'. Kaito turned to the boy. "You realize I don't have any money to pay, right?"

Naruto froze in his movements, causing Sakura to scoff at him for forgetting such an important detail. "How could you forget something like that?"

"I-it just slipped my mind." He defended sheepishly.

Before he could try to salvage the situation a voice called out to them, Naruto specifically.

"Hey, Naruto!" They turned to see Shikamaru, Choji and Ino walking towards them.

"Oh it's you guys. What are you guys doing here?" Naruto asked in curiosity.

"Asuma-sensei is paying for lunch for the team. It's such a drag but he was insistent." The Nara said with a sigh. "You guys are already done with your mission? Who's that?" He gestured to Kaito who had been silent so far, watching the interactions with a growing boredom.

"Hey, he's pretty cute. Who's he?" Ino asked Sakura in a whisper but was still heard.

"It's a long story."

'Does nobody here know how to whisper?' Kaito thought dryly.
