Game Between The Greatest Anomaly And An Omnipotent Being!

=====================================================

On the 10th floor, Killua touched his neck, which was charred badly, "Argh! Damn, this hurts... and it's uncomfortable..." He complained as he got up and looked to the side, "Huh? Are they following me? No, these footsteps are lighter, so Kurapika?" he muttered as he headed in that direction.

Killua grinned, "I guessed it," he muttered and raised his hand, "Yo, Kurapika!" He greeted.

Kurapika looked a little surprised but smiled and raised his hand in greeting, but then his eyes landed on Killua's neck, "Hm? What happened? Did you pick a fight with the new members or something?" he curiously asked, not fazed by the severely charred wound as Killua's demeanor was laid back.

"No, got into a fight with Otter, he cut my neck so I charred it," Killua nonchalantly replied and cracked his neck to show how okay he was, "Argh!!!" but that backfired horribly.

Killua kneeled on the ground with blood on his lips as his hands hovered over his wound, wanting to press on it but knowing if he did it would hurt more.

"Umm... you okay there?" Kurapika asked, he wanted to help but seeing the wound, he decided his interfering would only make it worse.

"Yeah, no... it hurts..." Killua groaned out as he got up and took a deep breath, 'What was my dumb ass thinking... if I had cracked my neck to the other side then it would probably rip my head off...' he bitterly thought.

"I think you need to get this treated before you do anything stupid again," Kurapika suggested, and Killua nodded, but then both's attention shifted to a pathway.

The sounds of heavy footsteps came, making Killua's whole body discharge lightning. Kurapika, seeing this, also got serious as six chains manifested and coiled his body, but the heads of the chains were pointed at the pathway.

The footsteps became louder and louder, putting Killua on edge. If it was Otter, then he couldn't leave Kurapika behind or drag him away.

The tension grew thick, and even Kurapika felt uneasy. Their eyes sharpened as they felt someone was about to come into sight.

And that someone did, "Kojiro?" It was Kojiro Sasaki, the one who defeated Poseidon.

"Oh hey! Didn't think I would see you two together here.... and are you two preparing to fight?" He casually asked as he folded his arms with his usual smile.

"ehhhh....." Killua plopped on the floor and smiled, "No..." he replied and looked at Kojiro, who curiously looked at Killua's wound. "By the way, are you going up?" Killua asked and stood up with some hope.

"Hmm, yeah, want to tag along?" Kojiro offered, somewhat understanding the situation, "Also, who did you fight for you to be wounded this badly? And I will assume that char is from you closing the wound," he questioned and also accurately analyzed Killua's condition.

"This is how I got confronted by Otter and escaped," Killua shrugged and followed Kojiro with Kurapika.

On their way, they made some light talk. Kojiro's eyes darted at a corner ahead but ignored it and continued on his way outside the dungeon.

In the corner of the wall, a figure in black attire stood frozen. It was Fels, "How... just how powerful are they?" he muttered and walked in the opposite direction, "I was spotted so easily, but why did he let me go...?" he questioned himself as he disappeared into the shadows.

---In Tortus----

At nighttime in the dry lands,

Regal looked at the night sky as his magic flared up and covered Yue, who sat cross-legged trying to control her mana. "Try to make a fireball without the help of a spell, it might help," he suggested, and Yue nodded.

She closed her eyes and created a fireball. "Not that big..." Regal remarked as his view of the sky was blocked by a fireball that could probably destroy a whole city.

Regal's mana flared up again and covered the whole fireball, compressing it to a small marble in his hand. He tossed it to the sky, and it disappeared. After a while, the sky became bright, almost like it was summer midday.

BBOOOOMM!!!

The sound of the explosion came, accompanied by the shockwave. Yue looked up with wide eyes, "It shouldn't do that..." she muttered.

"It exploded because I compressed it to near-impossible levels, and when I let it expand, it expanded too fast, broke the sound barrier, and went beyond it," Regal explained and looked at Yue, who thought deeply.

"I see," she muttered and formed a small fireball that was just normal. Yue squinted her eyes as she poured her mana into the fireball, making it big, but then she compressed it.

'Her mana control isn't bad, but not at the level she needs it to be,' Regal remarked in his mind as he continued to watch.

After making the fireball big and then compressing it many times, she looked at it with confusion, "It's still the same temperature?" she questioned in confusion.

"You can't expect it to get hotter... you focused on making the fireball powerful and devastating, not scalding," Regal walked up to her and sat down, looking at the marble-sized fireball in her hands.

He simply picked up the fireball and poured his mana, "Normally, if you pour your mana, it will become bigger and hotter, but in our case, who have very high affinity and authority, our magic is different," he started to explain as the fireball turned white and gradually became blue. "If we focus on a single process, then only that process will be affected. If you want it to grow bigger, then it will grow bigger and only that. If you want it to be hotter, then it will not get bigger."

Yue took the fireball and carefully studied it, "The size didn't change, but it has more mana... only the temperature changed..." she examined. "I understand," she confidently stated and started to play around with the fireball that grew bigger and hotter. She kept compressing it, making it more powerful.

Regal looked at her with a smile as he prepared a teleportation spell for both him and Yue. "Umm... I think it's enough..." Regal muttered. The fireball was becoming unstable, but Yue kept pouring in her mana.

And then a sudden brightness engulfed everything.

Regal and Yue appeared far, far away, but even then, they weren't spared from the light blinding them.

BBBOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!

Regal erected a solid barrier that canceled the noise and light, making them have their blindness removed. Regal sat down on the ground and looked at Yue, who looked away.

'Azu, give me a method that will help teach her...'

[Hehehe! You got it!]

Azu mischievously replied, and knowledge of the teaching process poured into Regal's mind. 'Azu...' he called out blankly as he went over the method Azu had given him, but Azu didn't respond.

"Sigh... do you want me to teach you directly?"

Regal asked Yue, who had a small red hue on her cheeks. She looked at Regal and nodded, "Teach me..." she agreed immediately.

"Are you sure?" Regal asked again.

"Yes."

And Yue's answer was instant.

Regal pulled her to his lap and tilted her chin up. He leaned in and pressed his lips to hers. Yue's eyes widened, but she didn't resist.

Regal's tongue pried open her lips and entered.
