On the 100th floor of the lower levels of the Great Orcus Labyrinth,
Regal looked at the massive gates, they were wide open and even a little broken. He headed inside to witness the sight of massive pillars that were lined up neatly with a giant pathway that had a dead hydra in the middle.
"How long has it been since I came to this world?" Regal asked, as he skipped the stairs and jumped down to the pathway.
[2 days and 3 hours. Scathach and Yue have been here for 3 days, and the hydra was only killed 8 hours ago,] Azu answered, adding the extra information. "Let me ask first..."
[You would have asked them, so I avoided the trouble and directly answered. Also, I am in a game right now.]
"...Ok," Regal muttered, not really bothering to ask further. He walked past the dead hydra.
The gate at the end of the hall was already open, so he directly walked through and looked around, his attention caught by the dome-shaped sky that had stars in it with the moon hanging on the edge, mimicking the surface.
The final area after the boss was just a place with a mansion in the middle, with a massive garden around it and a few relaxing places.
Regal looked in a certain direction and spotted steam coming from there. He directly headed there and upon arrival, he met the gaze of two confused individuals.
Scathach and Yue were both in the massive hot tub, relaxing. Both looked at Regal with confusion. "Yo!" Regal greeted, making both of them look at each other and then at Regal.
"Aren't you supposed to be in Ragnarok? From what I am aware, Odin will still take time to reach his goals, and Tartarus should be in chaos right now. Do you not want to take part in the clash?" Scathach curiously asked, making Regal shrug.
"I will take part in it, but from the chaos after Satan's death, the underworld is in a new dark age, and since there is no Hades, the situation got hectic. Odin's plans were delayed, same for Loki's plans. Things need to calm down on the gods' side before the conflict can even begin," Regal explained and joined them in the bathtub.
"I will participate when that 'conflict' begins," Yue stated, making Regal look at her curiously.
"Sure, why not? But keep in mind that Heaven's suppression is intense, and Azu will suppress our level as well," Regal agreed and gave a little warning as well.
"Suppression? Why?" Yue questioned, not really knowing the situation in Ragnarok.
"Our level-jumping capability is too great, and we are already too strong. If just one of us doesn't suppress our power, then it would result in the obliteration of the gods," Regal stated, making Yue think for a moment.
"Also, those gods might not be very strong, but they have skill and a unique set of abilities. You can learn a lot from them," Scathach added, making Yue understand.
They talked for a bit and after a while, Scathach stood up and stretched. Her perfect body was eye candy for Regal, who unhesitatingly looked.
Yue gave Regal a weird look, "Pervert," she stated, making Regal almost laugh.
Scathach smiled in amusement and got dressed, pushing the idea Azu gave her, "Huh? That's pretty useful," Regal commented as he watched the clothes manifest on Scathach.
"It is, but it only changes according to the season. It also doesn't tear," Scathach expressed as the clothes finished manifesting.
"I will get out as well," Yue muttered as she got out, not caring about being naked in front of Regal.
Both left, leaving Regal with his thoughts. After a while of relaxing, he got out as well and started to explore the place, going to the main room of the mansion where a skeleton sat.
Regal stepped into the magic circle in the center and triggered the magic but changed a few things, skipping the long explanation and directly getting the knowledge of the ancient magic: Creation magic.
Scathach at that time entered, "What's this?" she curiously asked as she walked into the magic circle, activating it.
Since Regal had cut out the long explanation, she got the ancient magic without an explanation. "An ancient magic? It's good but not to the point it will make much difference," she commented.
"Why is that?" Regal asked as he walked to a pillar and reformed it into a different pattern.
Scathach looked at Regal, who used the newly gained Ancient Magic, and shrugged.
"My 'Mystic Sovereign' leans towards mystical creations and phenomena. Sure, this Ancient Magic will make it a little easier, but not to the point it will make any difference even in long battles," Scathach explained as she created two blocks of metal from the air and tossed them to Regal, who caught them.
Regal scanned the blocks of metal carefully, "The right one is made from the Ancient Magic, while the other is just your Mystic Sovereign. Not much difference. The durability is the same, but the Mystic Sovereign consumes less mana. Its structure isn't plain solid like the one made from the Ancient Magic," he analyzed and crushed them into dust.
The one which was made from Mystic Sovereign disappeared into the air, while the one made from Ancient Magic remained, "Huh? Seems like the differences are clear to see, and the Ancient Magic is useless for you," Regal added and looked at Scathach, who nodded in agreement.
"There are a few more ancient magics. Do you want to go and get them? Some of them might be useful," Regal inquired.
"Hmm, sure. There aren't many good fights in this world, so might as well get to it." She agreed and walked out of the room.
But before she could, Regal pulled her by the waist and placed his head on her shoulder. He made her look at him and kissed her passionately.
Meanwhile, Yue floated up and checked out the stars and moon's replica, carefully examining everything from the magic line to how it functions.
